    Welcome Guest!

driving while rolling/tripping

I drove on monday afternoon to get kfc while it was raining and semi dark. I had a massive night before and hadnt slept and had been smoking cones all day.
I thought i was alright to drive myself and my mates since it was probably only a 5min drive and no more than 60km speed limit the whole way.
Anyway, we were nearly there and i just freaked out. I could see lights everywhere, i had no idea where i was, (ie. location or position in the road), and couldnt see the road at all or where any corners were. I just stopped in the middle of the road basically, had to put my window down, whilst the rain poured in the window to freshen up.
Really scary shit hey.
definitely getting dominos delivered next time......

I've gotten into a car with ppl who were fucked on a variety of different substances many times but I don't do it anymore. The reason I choose not to drive myself, or with anyone else under the influence is that I lost my brother in a vehicle accident not too long ago. He was on pills but felt that he had come off his peak long ago enough to go for a ride with 3 mates. All four of them ended up underneath a semi trailer and died.
All of the ppl who I travelled with while they were on pills etc seemed like really great drivers and totally in control. Maybe they were but I just don't take the chance anymore. Personally, I think there are enough accidents on the road that have nothing to do with drugs, alcohol etc so why add that little bit of extra risk into the equation. Even if I feel that I'm completely fine, I want to be at my absolute best, just in case the guy on the other side of the road is on something, overtired, has a heart attack etc.
That's just me :)

My crews thing to do while on x is to drive.. we go up into the moutains sometimes or just around town chatting and having a good time.. or late nights to where the lights are the best and the system in the car is LoUdddd which is always nice for some techno.. i've been in the car sober while the same friend was driving on x and have paid attention to notice he drives the exact same and focused.. reactions and all.. i dont see it as a bad thing... i sure as hell wouldn't drive but there are people i know that can be trusted to drive safe and thats what we do.. best times i've had rolling are in that car. BUt again i'd like to add that we always ask and see how fked up our driver is before we just hit the rode.. driving is usually a one pill thing nothing more.. and sometimes not even that because its a big responsiblity.. not to be taken lightly

I'm pretty against driving on x...

I was just being driven around while I was peaking once and I was freeeeaking out big time. They guy that was driving was heaps straighter than I was, but I wasn't grasping that fact and kept going on about how I didn't want to die! I've also driven on the tail end of things, and nearly crashed into a truck, and my friend made me get out so he could drive.

So, all in all - get a freakin cab people! At least then you can properly look at the pretty lights whizzing by...

There's enough no brainers driving on the roads, it doesn't need us lot adding to it.

i've spent a long time in hospital just 'cos people weren't watching the road, and they were straight.

If you get pulled, you will get crucified, regardless of whether you think you were driving well or not.

A lump of metal on wheels going 40 miles an hour is a lethal weapon. you'll be telling me next that playing with guns is fun:(

i was hit by a drunk driver about 2 months ago. she came left of center and hit me head on at about 40 miles an hour. i broke my leg in the accident, had to have 2 surgerys and a rod put in it all because this cunt thought she was ok to drive. there is a differance between driving completly wasted like she was or driving with just a small buzz. driving like that is just completly irresponsible. most everbody has drivin after a few beer or coming down off of whatever when your not that messed up anymore, which is more acceptable i guess but its still not ok. your ability to make quick decisions and stuff is still impaired weather you think it is or not and that could mean the differance between life and death and no matter what you are on your judgement is still impaired even though some things might not be as bad as others. 99% of the time you might make it where your going no problem but there's always that chance that something will happen which is much greater than if you are sober. and i could really care less if people put their own life in danger but they should not be puting other in danger

grr somone close this thread, its not going anywhere!...then again...why do i care?

Yep, its gone. And krebbin, you cant tell me that im not able to drive when im floored, and what the fuck is sussed?

Center,

I could probably drive as well when I was mashed, but would be dangerous and not in control (even though I'm a profesional driver doing over 45,000 miles/year for work). Just because you think you can drive it does not mean you are safe on the road!

HardTrance~ Driving in itself always imposes a risk of death, even if all the motorists on the road are sober. (laugh)

He was RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME!!

We were on some back roads on the way to a party, and his car kept doing some weirdo swerving thing. When we got to the party, I asked him WTF was wrong with him, and he said he had been doing whippets.

WhippetSS!!!! As in, plural. As in, more than one whippet! Seriously, what the hell would possess someone to be such a moron?!?
