The EADD a trifle annoyed thread v. I bet that smarts a bit

what i am sad about though is that the sort of movement, or indeed, cultural shifts, can only happen in some places.

Ow, poor you, Kronos!

i think it all looks nice but it s a bit weird to be complaining that we were nt born earlier.
i kinda like NOW.
i like the music, the technology, certainly the drugs (and their variety)...
Yep, truthytruth. I rather like now too.

Didn't manage to pick my repeat prescription on Friday before the pharmacy closed, so I was in there first thing today. Whereupon they inform me that they haven't had my script back from the surgery yet, despite the fact it should've been ready to collect on Thursday.

So I head over to the surgery, make enquiries, and find out that the pharmacy only bothered to order it in on Friday, despite clearly having informed me that it'd be ready to collect on Thursday. So not my doctor's fault at all.

Under normal circumstances it'd take 48 hours from the pharmacy ordering the script to getting it authorised. Luckily I'll be able to collect it this afternoon. I mean, it's not as if it's anything vitally important, is it? 8)

Lesson: Don't rely on Lloyds Pharmacy's repeat prescription service if you want your life to run smoothly. Now I have to miss more work in order to go and collect. Good times.

Sounds very annoying Sammy... especially as it wasn't your fault & they had told you it would be ready. As it happens, I too have some prescription related woes myself this morning.

Despite the fact different brands of medication should have exactly the same effects, I've just switched back to the brand of SSRI I was originally using & it's giving me some nausea/confusion this morning. Same happened when I got the different brand, only lasts a day or two but it's very irritating.

PS - I've never got my repeat prescriptions sent to a pharmacy... it's actually quicker for me to pop past the GP's & hand it in myself. Can get it the same day whilst it'll take 2 days or something if I get the script sent to the pharmacy for me.

I never really get time to do the popping into the GPs thing, what with work and all, so I thought that I'd take the pharmacy up on the offer of organising it. As they're next door to the surgery and a short walk away from my front door, it's pretty convenient. Normally.

Should've just signed up to the repeat service on the practice website. Which is what I'll do this afternoon.

Different brands of medication can be like that. Nausea and confusion doesn't sound at all nice.

gf and sis fighting. accusing each other of lack of respect.
bad timing on their part.
again, im in the middle.

Free parties, pah, now free festivals and we're talking ;)

They did a couple of free festivals, I enjoyed them but TBH I preferred a good party that started up about 1am and finished up 3-4pm the next day. I'd rather go all out for the duration and you simply can't do that for a whole weekend. The ones I went to always seemed to descend into a bit of a mess, liquid LSD and all manner of coke, crack and too much booze.

I went to the forest fair once, it pissed with rain but it was a giggle but in general I'd take a good outside free party and a group of friends back at the house afterwards for messyness

i spent ages putting a set list together in the music thread and someone deleted most of it just for me to have to re do it who ever did it you could of at least of had the decency to say as to why and who you are

it is usually good practice to just save the work you care about offline too, especially lists thay may get lost somewhere... ;) an easy desktop goto text for pasting posts before actually putting them up is a good idea (especially if you know you internet connection is flaky)

annoyed at myself for getting more scattered rather than concentrated as my deadline approaches..

I'm a 'triffle annoyed" by 'free-styling' my alarm clock last night, so that i wouldnt wake until i awoke natutally. The result was waking up @~ 9pm today :\. God i hate it when that happens, when you wake up and its pitch black and you know you've slept a for long time, and you dont have got a clue what time or even what day it is. It's quite disoreinating and depressing. Rather than fall permanently into that kind of sleep pattern which i think is really unhealthy and unhelpful in terms of getting anything done in the real world, there wont be aymore 'waking up naturally for a while and the alram is getting set for someetime tomorrow morning, no mater how mcuh sleep i do or dont get tonight.

dont work yourself out mdb, ive had those kinds of nights / days before, and sleep debt is something im more than eager to pay. If it was the good kind of sleep then all will return to normal easily. And if It was your body that made you stay in bed that late, then its probably for the common good ;) however, font think i can say the same about drug blackouts ;)

annoyed that i cant really figure out if i slept the first few hours last night dreaming about insomnia, or just had insomnia and forgot about it...

Bit annoyed because every other time I've bought meph from my usual guy (about 50000 times to 3 different addresses) it's always been next day. As in, order it before 4 one day and it's up your nose by lunchtime next day. But the two times I've ordered it to my new uni house it's taken two days (or I'm hoping for two days as tomorrow would be the second day...). Does this part of Birmingham have particularly shit postal service or something?

I was more annoyed last time because I had to hurry back to my house and get it before I left Birmingham that day, this time it doesn't matter because I didn't need it quickly but I would like it to turn up tomorrow with it being my birthday an' all. At least I have coke, but still, variety is always nice :P And it's nice getting what you've paid for, of course.

i hate advertisments.

seriously.
im not even jyst annoyed, im angry. adds on the pages i visit. adds on tv, adds on the fuckign walls, adds by the road to work, fucking sexy ladies promoting stuff while wearing the freaking product themed costume, and now adds on yahoo mail and youtube. and though some are funny and i can tolerate them once, when they get repeated over and over and over, or worse still, when they interrupt content or make it less visible (to read) i wish the plague on all who conspired for the ruining of my enjoyment.

books are where it s at. you dont see anyone throwing detergent in your eyes or blasting loud music every time you turn the page.

dont even get me started on political campaign ads

Adverts are shite. i pay no attention to them. apart from youtube ads used to get on my tits, get adblocker for internet pages and youtube

yeah it is bs. x3million squared

yeah adblocker: get it if you don't have it.

annoyed that we are out of weed. pretty much everywhere out. what's happened? rly

looks like i am going have to talk to 'old friends' (not really) fuck. help

but wouldnt that just be robbing youtube of their hard earned money - money they need to create the content of YOUtube?
