Regardless if it's GHB or GBL, your claim can't be completely accurate, can it? Not trying to call you out, but if for nothing else than harm reduction, ML (milliliters) is a measurement of volume in the medical/drug field. Unless a substance has a universal or static amount of each chemical in it, ML alone cannot give you the dosage of what one puts in their body. My comment is also inquisitive, due to some odd circumstances, a small container of liquid GHB was left behind at my once shared residence and was told to keep it, as there was no way for the person to retrieve it. So is GHB usually the same milligrams per ML across the board for recreation/home made GHB? I would like to try it, Is there a way to test it, or maybe a low volume amount that wouldn't be harmful even if it was made with a high mg/ML ratio, to test the waters so to speak, then slowly titrate up from there? Thanks in advance for any advice you can give.
The info was accurate regarding GBL. Of course myself and others reading will be aware what a ML is, and I always used 2 ML syringes split into 10ths of a ML to measure the doses so I knew exactly how much I was consuming each time.
Yes the strength of GBL can vary from batch to batch, and from different manufacturers and suppliers, but not by very much in my experience. But you still start low and work up to find your dose with each new batch. Starting at 0.5ML, and usually working up in increments of 0.5 ML for highest safety, until you find your sweet spot. You could work up by tenths of a ML if you wanted to err on the side of being highly cautious at first, until you find your range. But this generally would not be necessary or practical in most cases, as most likely you would't be consuming enough to have any effect at all. Research is essential, but experience is the best teacher.
A commonly stated recreational dose range for GBL is 0.5 ML - 1.5 ML every couple of hours or so. K/Os (in my personal experience from taking slightly over ones personal limit) but also fatalities can and have occurred from members I personally knew on here from, it was speculated, by going literally just a couple of ml above that dose range. At least the odd K/O or two is almost inevitable in working out personal limits, but pushing things too far and too quickly beyond the recreational dose range is very dangerous. That is the commonly received and shared knowledge regarding GBL.
As GHB is essentially a case of add boiling water to the powder to consume, then that can be much more variable in strength as it obviously depends how much water is added, and the strength or purity of the powder to begin with.
GBL is caustic and tastes very bad so it is generally diluted and made consumable by squirting the syringe into a drink of cola etc. Some people us rectal administration. GHB doesnt tatse as bad but is usually also consumed the same way.
If you want to call bullshit on me then fine. But that is my experience.
It's not an exact method or statement but most of us are not scientists.
Maybe someone who is qualified in the field and also has posted about consuming GBL, a member such as
@fastandbulbous could confirm the gist of what I have said, If he sees this post.
