Boo 7-October 12th-Randall's Island NY —Take IV

ok my turn. As we all agree, this party sucked hairy balls. I didn't start having fun til the sun went down. I, too, didn't leave the house/techno tent too much. Marco Carola definitely had the set of the night. Threw my sneakers in the wash 2 times 2 times. Paul, you're place is tight! I had more fun there than at the party itself. Jay, ur bubbler is insane. lol. Glad to get to hang out with all you guys, that was the main reason why I went in the 1st place. Probably only one person I didn't care for at Paul's. But he was a nobody, so it doesn't really matter. lol. Katie, Jay Muto is a funny dude. lol. Damn did I have fun there. And even disappearing for awhile and hearing a bunch of people singing (I know Teddy was one of them). I wish I didnt have to go, but it was like 5am. lol. Gotta do it again, definitely. I am not really gonna name names, but EVERYONE that I interacted with at the party and the afterparty I thank you for being there and making that night unforgettable. APC v 2.0 lol

marco carola's set was def ill, loved every friggin minute of it, damn am i sore today.....
but anyway, rain sucked ass, and the mud really sucked ass. however, i didn't mind that much cuz i got driznunk with some really kick ass people.
i don't feel like typing that much so i wont
but anyway for the afterparty, def made my night, awesome seeing the crew back together with a few new faces always a good time. sorry i passed out, but after getting one hour of sleep from delivering pizza's all night long, to dancing my ass of for marco carola's set i was a tired little boy, and sleep was nice.
paul: all i have to say is that you are def one of the coolest kids everywhere.
teddy: viva la techno!!!!!
jamal: hey, i finally got to see donald glaude ; )
katie: nice seeing you again, gotta bring your friend around, maybe for a party?!?!?!?
sara: honestly, it's not a party without you there

Well, I'd have to say that I had a good time. The music that was actually played was good, especially the techno/house tent, and I eventually got into a muddy groove. It really blew that only about 1/2 the dj's played though. Also, the water situation was fucking rediculous. I spent too much time trying to find water, so much for cheap water as they advertized. All in all I had a good time, but it wasn't worth $55.
 
web-no you didn't imagine the kiss on the forehead, i figured someone had to make you feel better after that kick in the head! and it's only certain people i play well with, and i think we play quite well together ;) . it was real cool to meet you, let me know when you'll be around here again, i def wannna chill with you.
and scaryraver: quit yer bitchin. i was refering to you wasting people's TIME, not money, with that many consecutive posts about how bad the party was. we got your opinion loud and clear the first time. and as for my remark about teddy knowing he's glad he went? it was refering to the good time we had dancing, and chillin at the afterparty. it really didn't have anything to do with you. i'm not a newbie either, thanks, been goin to parties for a few years now, i knew all the names spinnin in the main tents. but the other tents (yes there were others, or did you not notice?) had lesser known names in them.
oh, and me munchin pills? check the quote... i've been sober for a year. thanks :)
all in all i could have delt without the rain and the mud, but the past is past... and it's also an experience that i won't soon forget! this is the first party that has stuck out in my mind for the atmosphere, people i got to chill with, and music in a damn long time.

I dont care what any of you are bitchin about. i had a wonderful time. I mean.. seriously - 1) you live here.. you know what weather is like in Oct. 2) you should know not to buy tickets like months in advanced for any outdoor party no matter what month it's in. 3) you all already know soe is the shittiest excuse for anything -ever. 4) why bitch and complain about sumthing you had NO control over anyway. 5) helloo! it was rainin for 3 days b4 the party.. you should have prepared urself for the weather already, if you were going still.

My 2 Local friends.. both had great times. :) it was cool to chill with them after too. hehe. It was my best friends first party, and she had an amazing time.. even in the mud. and we both came home dayum clean too. this including strippin in the parking lot and changing clothes for everyone to see.. hehe *flashes all of boo*
and after thowing our clothes and sneekers in the washer.. they are back to lookin like new... :) so yay for being ready!!

i find it pretty funny that people would hate stuck on earth for the rain. the company still has to pay sound rental, stage set up, artists, for the day. why should they have to pick up the tab alone? but i agree about the mud. 3 inches of muck is not fun.

sobi-- u think theyd realize that weather isnt very stable in october, and its no time for an outdoor party. and they shouldve been prepared for rain, it was rainy at the last one.
outdoor massives should only be held during the summer, imo

I, myself, didn't mind the rain at all. It was the mud that sucked at first, but then I said fuck it and got used to it. It didn't make a difference to me once got dancing (actually I kinda liked dancing in the mud). heh. and Jen, I have no idea what ur talking about. lol. Far from hot =P
Am I one of the 1,000 people who have to head back to Paul's cuz SOMEONE that I was with left stuff there? What a fuckin troop that's gonna be. Oh well. lol. I'm a nice guy like that...

the party sucked, my 2 fave djs weren't there, didnt feel like meeting up, although i'm sure you guys are all cool pplz. this whole experience leaves me jaded and made me realize that this really should be the last rave i go to.. so how do i kill this account?
 
so did anyone else besides me & my friends crave the DnB tent over the house tent as the best area????
I mean at least in the DnB tent every MC & dj showed up and performed! :) hahaha just playin

well, to sum up the whole day and night, this whole adventure was friggin awesome. the party itself was a little bit of a drag cause of the rain and mud, but once i found everyone the rain and mud didnt bother me much. and thank god for the beer tents! that was a major plus at this party. the after party was kickass, major props to the stamford crew.
now for the shoutouts....
Dave, Jamal, Teddy, Jay, Katie, Steve, Kev, Sara, Connel, its always a pleasure partying with you guys, i definetly need to come out with ya more often
Chris, Amanda and Steve, you guys rock. i had a blast hangin with you guys at starscape, and i had a blast with ya at boo. we definetly need to hang out again in the near future.
Ms. Red and GoingStrange, it was nice to finnaly meet you guys, hopefully well catch up with each other again sometime
Paul and the rest of the stamford crew, you guys know how to throw a party, that was great, i havent had that much fun in a long time. hope to see ya soon.

my turn... I'm with the majority here: the party sucked. The weather ruined everything, but we all knew what to expect. Like I said before, I think I had more fun getting excited about Boo then actually being there. ODI spun a dope set, The DNB room was bumpin, but the house/techno room kept pulling me back for more. I love jungle, but techno is really starting to attract me. If it wasn't for the good tunes flowing I would have to rate this party as a zero. Good peoples's and a dope afterparty definetly made the night better.
As for the afterparty, I must say it's a little blank to me. naw, j/k. After Jason spun those dope breaks the night blasted off into a wonderfull party of it's own. Although most of the night I was running back and forth making sure everything ran smoothly, I did have time to enjoy my surroundings and get to know some good people. People's names were a little bit of a blur for me throughout the night, but ya'll know I have mad respect for each and every one of you.
I'm really am too lazy to individually shot out every single person but much respect to : Teddy (no dude, your the fucken man), Jay(bring that $1000 contraption back over here again), Jamal (I got your bra man), Dave, Cheryl, Coldshot, RaveToy/KayDub (you guys are mad cool, sorry for making you chase us the way home, I seriously didn't know you were behind me :) , Sarah (your the best), Katie (this 3 month gap between seeing each other def. has to stop!), Jason (Katie, you gotta tell him to come back here and spin again, mad props!!) Web/Batty/Cpt.Howdy (welcome to Stamford, come back soon), Brian, Steve (you know the deal)... Sorry if I forgot some people but I did good considering all the names I had to remember!! You guys are all welcome back too my crib anytime... well, ya kinda have to considering half of you left something here. lol..
Anyway, this weekend was definetly one to remember, we'll definetly have to do it again.
