Boo 7-October 12th-Randall's Island NY —Take IV

as previously said: GET OVER IT! a party is what you make of it. the DJ you like doesn't go on? don't waste money and everyone's time by just bitching about it. find something you like on one of the other SEVEN stages and dance, or wander around and give the smaller tents, and names you don't know, a chance... just make the best of the situation.
i was there, same as you, wet, muddy, and cold, and i still had a blast.
and for the record, yes, i looked like a junglist beeyotch! :-P it's becoming a habit.
it was a pain-in-the-ass getting everyone together, and getting to the venue from CT was a challenge (nothin like dodging across 4 lanes of pre-toll traffic in a car that isn't mine!).
the house/techno tent made up for everything. oh my f*cking god, marco carola blew my mind. i don't think i've danced like that in a good year. i thought kevin and teddy were going to scream themselves stupid... but i'm not going any further on that point ;) i just pretended not to know them when they got really out of control.
web, it was awesome to meet you, finally put a face to an ohio name ;)
katie: the kid you brought with you, i'm awful with names, i'm sorry, spun really well... does he spin anywhere around you, or just for fun? cuz he's better than a lot of locals and lesser-knowns i've seen at parties.
jamal, icey, toprocka, coldshot, partEkid/rudebwoy, other stamford heads: i don't get to see you guys much, if ever before, and mostly it's in passing... it was awesome to chill with you for as long as i got to :)
welcome matt: you are way too cool for words! it was phat to see you wandering around, gave me someone to talk to when a *ahem* a certain boyfriend of mine went to the beer garden to get drunk.
teddy: you had fun. admit it. you secretly, deeeeep down want to thank me and katie for making you go in. and how was breakfast? ;)
kevin/sara: nothin like breakfast at denny's at 2 PM... sara, i hope you got some sleep, you looked ready to lay down in the booth and pass out before your coffee came. and kevin, i promise i'll let you get some sleep tonight.
but yeah... i have to go hose down my sneakers. the mud is caked on, and my mother won't let them in the house. and then i'm gonna go take another shower. granted it's not that feeling post-asylum, but i still feel *gross*

Girl this is one person you don't want to start with.

first what i'd like to say is BITE ME, i'm always making the best of a party only ben like 3 parties i've ever hated all three of them SOE parties. secondly who's money am i waisting by bitching. i yelled at jeff and dana from soe and jeff's sending me a check in the mail. as for these "other SEVEN stages" i think you need to stop munching pills cause if you could count there were THREE stages and a few of the "up and coming DJ's" that were spining in the beer tent were people i knew so i'm not going to count seeing people i know from mass and CT spinning as a stage. as for "wander around and give the smaller tents, and names you don't know, a chance... " maybe the names in the other THREE tents were names you didn't know, i'm not calling my self a veteran but i knew and had heard all the people that were spining in those tents. there was nothing i hadn't seen befor and nothing i'd go to see for the money wich i had paid. maybe to a newbie raver whom dosen't get out often may find something she may like that she's never heard but i've heard all those people and did not care to see them.
as for
teddy: you had fun. admit it. you secretly, deeeeep down want to thank me and katie for making you go in.
i'm sure he did. teddy always loves standing in the rain with the cold wind blowing and walking through mud. EXPECIALY when he feels sick. [/sarcasem]

I had an OK time. I managed to stay fairly dry, I'm filthy as all hell.
I got to meet a few Blue Lighters, but other than that I'm glad I didn't fall in the mud, causae then I would have been pissed :)
A bunch of the headliners did play, they had them in the progressive tent.. i think. But this bumped out sooo many other acts. Spacegirl was a no show? Surprise surprise... I felt bad for the kids that came to see Biohazard. While I was prob going to skip that show.. there were a lot of people there to see them and they still paid the 55+ bucks to get in and prob have a shitty time. I really only wanted to see Donald Glaude and it turned out that he came on 2 hours earlier than what was posted.. so I managed to stumble into the middle of his set.
The only other thing is the drugs. I am going to get reamed for saying that but I don't care. DIPPIES!!! AHHH the air was basically replaced with this stench.. ugh. I'm def going to stay away from the SOE paries.. I've had more bad experiences than good and for the money people pay for these things, they need to be better organized and prepared for last minute changes.
You can tell that people are thinking similarly.. compared to boo 6 Randall's Island was very packed at all.

well, a review?
the party sucked, plain and simple. But thank god I had boots and a hat on.
I just made Joey play a carnival game over and over to win me some OK cds and devil horns. yeah, and I took some of the decorations.
Metting some wonderful people made my day all the much better. Here I go with the BL name dropping. ;)
DISCLAIMER: I forgot BL names and actual names, so don't chastize me if i don't have ya in here! Rest assured I remember meeting you and we did have fun damnit!

ScaryRaver: Always good to see someone had fun.
Joey- thankyou with putting up with my whinning at the party. Your the sweetest guy to try and make it a fun night, even though the temp and mud finally got to me as we were leaving.
I hate getting lost in New York.:/
I'm glad to have shown you timesquare for the first time cutie pie. ReD <3 her Straaange One.
We couldn't make it anywhere after the party to see anyone, hence the getting lost part. :o
The music was decent from what I saw/heard, even though I couldn't stand through much of anybodys set. I was sitting in one of the tents,in a blowup couch, and a few fucked up kids(on dippies of course) fell on me. Yecky.
well good night everyone, hope to see you all again soon...meybe out of the rain or in some proper daylight.
~ReD

Dont' know what ur talking about...i heard crystal method...BT..and the X-ecutioners play....BUT before u jump down my throat..i do agree...people got ripped off..everyone didn't play that was on the bill and at any case that's bullshit..Just thought i'd let ya know that those 3 acts did play..and just to confirm...i'm not some e-tard who doesn't even know whose playing when their on.

Yeah... this party sucked major ass... Everyone warned me about SOE, but fuck it, I wanted to go anyway. From the moment we pulled into the parking area, I knew that this party would be chock full of stupidity... as we're pulling in, there are about a half dozen cops swarming around the car in front of us, with at least two people in cuffs. How stupid can you be to try and sell in the fucking parking lot? Loads of busts inside the event area... and the sight of more than one dumbass that over did it... compounded the downer that this event was.
The rain and mud fucked everything... I can't believe I walked through all that mud and still managed to keep my feet dry (damn I'm good).
As for the whole talent issue, I could care less. The only person I wanted to see was Donald Glaude, and I got that, so I was happy. It would have been cool to see TCM again, but I've seen them before. Unlike some people, I didn't shell out $55 for the music/talent. I went to this party to try and enjoy myself, meet some groovy people, and add one more experience to memory. I'm just thanking my stars and garters that I didn't get sick.
Speaking of groovy people... the N.E. crew made it ALL worthwhile. All of you guys are kool katz in my book, I'll hang with any of you, any time (even those of you who "don't play well with others"). The afterparty in Stanford at Paul's (PartEkidRepsAcosta) was unbelievable. The activities at this little event far outshined Boo... for a little while there, I'd forgotten that I'd even gone to Boo.
Now for a little name dropping (how can I resist?):
CptHowdy- Thanks for making the trip with me bro... things just aren't as fun without you around.
batty- I know we drove you insane on the ride up (and back)... but it wasn't *That* bad, was it? It was great seeing you again, and most excellent getting to spend so much quality time with you.
BKR- Thanks for coming to our rescue and letting us all crash in your living room. Your a fine hostess. :) Maybe next time you'll actually stay at the party for a while, eh? ;)
Kart- Good to see you again Pat. I'm sorry that I didn't get to see you again at the party... ya know how these things happen.
Ms.Red&Goingstrange- SO nice to meet you guys! You two seem really happy, and you compliment each other. I hope to see you again in the near future.
PLURmonster- Dude, I'm glad I bumped into you. Thank goodness for random conversations with complete strangers, eh? It was great to meet you, and I hope I catch up with you again.
sugafist- Always good to see another DC/MD/VA bluelighter reprisenting! Never saw you again after that bro, wish I had. Ah well, such is life and I know I'll bump into you again soon.
bdreligrrl- Nice to meet you sweetie. I will never forget the look on your face as I was walking up to you at the party... since you didn't know me, you had an utter look of disgust on your face... I didn't think I was *That* ugly! Thankfully that frown turned upside down as soon as I announced who I was to you. :) I'm glad you were able to get out and make it to the party.
Maui2k- Maui, Maui, Maui... what *ARE* you going to do with me? heh heh heh... Was it THAT obvious that I was tore up from the floor up? Great to meet you bro.
Glowworm- You are just the cutest thing! It was really nice to see you again girl. I look forward to our next meeting with much enthusiasm. And yes, we still want to take you home with us. ;)
THeRaVeToY- I remember saying to myself, "Self, I like this girl." Even after you announced that you don't play well with others. Well, we're two of a kind, because I run with scissors. You've got to be nicer than you give yourself credit for, otherwise I don't think I would have rated that kiss on the forehead as you were leaving (or did I just imagine that?).
KayDUB- Dude, it was good to meet you. We didn't exchange too many words, but that's groovy. Sometimes words aren't needed.
TopRocka, MrJaMaL, Coldshot, Speekah Phreekah, Icey- What can I say? You guys exemplify the N.E. crew for me... there isn't a better group of people to chill with in my opinion.
Any time, any where... I'm there, with you guys.
PartEkidRepsAcosta- Tha Man. If it weren't for this dude stepping up and having everyone over for the best afterparty I've ever been to... this weekend would have been one of the biggest dissapointments of my life. Dude, I've been to a lot of house parties in my time... but last night topped them all.
If I've forgotten anyone, I sincerely apologize... I'm still a little discombobulated at the moment.
The people I forgot to mention:
Skipee- It was cool to see you again dude. Next time make ryan whore his virgin ass on the street for money to make the trip and bring him along. ;)
To the people I didnt get to see:
ScaryRaver- I know the event sucked... such is life man... live and learn. I never saw you, and that blows. We could have chilled and bitched about how shitty the place was for at least 30 minutes.
Kasper- Dude, I SO looked for you, really. Hope you had a decent time.
Dazzle, Trixieee, jerzeezfinest- Sorry I didn't get to meet you ladies.
In closing may I just say (again)... Boo7 sucked,... but seeing and hanging out with the people mentioned above made the (round trip) 14 hour trip (and all the toll boothes) completely worth the while. Next time I think I'll skip the event and move straight on to the afterparty. ;)

WARNING: this is one long-ass post, either humor me or skip ahead. ;)
So getting to the party was an adventure and a half. Friday night I go to the mall to get tix... the Ticketmaster machine is broken. I go an hour away to get tix... get home late at night... my girl announces she can't go after all!!!! So I talk my girl Amy into going... 12:30am Saturday she calls saying "umm... I can't go after all." GREAT. Luckily, at 3am the cell rings again, my boy Jay's friends all bailed too so we rode up together. I definitely had about 2 hours sleep before a 4 hour drive to Western CT, leaving at 6:30am. Werd. 8) As Lauren said, it was near impossible to get everyone together to leave for the party, apparantly we're not too good at being "morning people" and getting to places on time. There's a shock. Oh, and for the record guys: the car thing stays between us. :)
1pm we finally get our sorry asses to Randall's Island, too bad it's RAINING. Now while I may be the first to admit I was absolutely livid all day and night that, while the rest of us knew weeks ago it was probably gonna rain, SOE somehow didnt get that newsflash and put the main stage under a fawking tent. That was bullshit. They had so few people show up though... if you feel vengeful, just imagine how much $$$$ SOE lost throwing this party. ALOT. We're talking massive amounts here. No people, tons of big-name big-pricetag DJs, and the most expensive ones of all to book barely got to spin, if at all. I'm amazed there wasn't a massive SOE suicide during or after the party.
The music WAS great though, for the most part. I stuck mainly to the House/Techno tent, and it blew my mind all day. Heather Heart now has my heart, lol; Frankie Bones opened w/ Beastie Boys, 'nuff said :D ; Doc Martin kicked my ass, as did Marco Carolla (yeah Kev and Teddy, keep screaming "I love techno"... I've never seen either of you before in my life! ;) )... Glaude, Feelgood, Sanchez, etc also rocked my world. :) During my ventures to the DNB tent, I was a big fan of Odi's set ("Thugged Out Bitch" hellz yeah! lol), and would've loved Ed Rush more if I wasn't so goddamn tired, cold, sore, and waiting to round everyone up and leave by the time he went on. He spun a great set though. I'm also still pissed I missed J-Majik AGAIN, but I honestly would not have lasted until his set that night. Ah well, despite the physical pain and the mud, it was worth it because I got to dance my ass off for hours to some amazing DJs, with some amazing people. I cannot say enough about the people. I absolutely love you all, thanks for making the weekend so memorable. :) We need to get together again alot more often... who says we need a party for an excuse to see each other?
Now for the personal notes:
PartEKidRepsAcosta/RudeBwoyJunglist: mad props for the use of the crib, hon. I had so much fun, and it better not be another 3 months before we chill again! :)
MrJaMaL: it was great to see you dancing, and tossing around dave and connell again, too. :D it had been way too long since I'd seen that! oh and thanks for the diet pepsi. 8) it disappeared fast.
TopRocka: mah big bwutha, thanks for all the hugs, even if you did spend too much time in the beer garden! I'll babysit you better next time, I promise. ;) I repeat... it WILL NOT be another 3 months before I see you again either!
Icey: hellz yeah for the stringing, I was impressed. also, once again I proved that me and the $1000 work of art are a bad combination. ;) weeeeee! you better be coming up to boston again soon. :)
THeRaVeToY: it was so great to actually hang out with you and talk, I had alot of fun. *shakes head* silly silly boys. never seen 'em before in my life, I swear! Oh, and my friend's name was Jay, and he's gonna spin soon at our friend's Sunday night weekly in Hartford. He loves all you guys by the way, lol. I fear he may become a BLer eventually.
KayDUB: you and your obsession with female djs. and techno. oh my. :)
Coldshot: where the hell were you all day?!?!??!! you too, I must chill with again sooner than later.
SpeekahPhreakah: you know you're glad you went. thank god for house, techno, and threats of bodily harm from me and Lauren. "did I say that out loud?" :D
Maui2k: "you are a needle in a fucking haystack!" goddamn it hurt SO much to laugh at that point in the night! and yes, Stamford kids are chill. point proven. :)
LittleVee3, Pasha177: its about time you became BLers :) as usual, too much fun chillin w/ you both and we need to get together again SOON! much luv to mah girls...
Glowworm: adventures in driving. never-again-discussed adventures in driving. ;)
Ms.Red and GoingStraaange: lovely to see you again Sarah, and to finally meet you Joey! I'm sure we'll be seeing each other again soon.
Bi Kand*E*Raver: you're such a sweetie! glad we finally met, hopefully we'll get to party again soon.
Web: I didn't mean to run! lol... you're not ugly dammit, but you WERE a stranger chasing me across a muddy field, whaddaya expect? hehehe you're wicked nice, sorry I wasn't more with it at the afterparty but I was beyond tired and kinda in my own little world as a result. Hopefully I'll get to party with you, Batty and Capt.Howdy again in the near future!
Sugafist: glad I can finally put a face to the name. :) hopefully next time we'll stop dancing long enough to say more than "hi, i'm ___" hehehe. but in the house/techno tent, dancing was clearly a priority for almost everyone!
The Welcome Matt, xtcvitality: yea! i (almost) always love meeting more BLers... hopefully I'll see you both again soon!
jerzeezfinest: dammit I should've known you'd be with lara, I saw her walking by me with *i'm pretty sure* you at one point but figured I'd see her again later and kept dancing :\
To anyone I missed... Well it's incredibly late, I had to work all night after driving home from CT this afternoon (my manager called me while I was driving home from CT, yeah tonight was fun, grrr)... I promise you'll be added soon, and if not, well you know I love y'all anyways. :)
Peace ~Katie

BOO actually was a good party!! For me & my friends we have a pretty good time! And if you spent majority of your time in the DnB tent then you definitely had a good time because that was the BEST spot to be!! Djs, MCs every single one ripped. We drove in Fri. night and lucky we did because getting to Randalls Island, there was allot of traffic & a broken down semi-truck in the road. Ok, so yeah we get there, around 2:30 and stayed late. The lines, the parking, were good. Yeah again it was damp wet, & cold!! The weather throughout the night was terrible, but once inside the tent and actually partying, dancing it was all good. And yeah it was also madd slippery outside around the tents and all, but we still made do. We just setup our partying circle in a dry, cool spots and went about our partying/dancing/battling ways. The vibe was aight, which is not typical for a NY party so I was surprised and kindof felt that this night might turn out ok. Actually majority of the peoples me & my peeps newly met were from Mass. Anyways yeah so we all missed the headliner dj that we each individually wanted to see and yes that is typical of a SOE party, but I’d say other djs did try to step it up, and to me I thought everyone involved with the DnB tent stepped it up. Every dj from Empress(hottie) ;) , dieselboy, j-majik, db, ed rush, and ALL the MCs worked out the crowd. I mean you can only “bob” your head for so long before you start wildin out in there and WOW, there were allot of people getting down and the MCs were flowing with the djs and hyping people on, so there was allot of hypeness and energy from that tent. So the DnB area was my stompin ground for majority of the party. However, when I did venture out I caught the sets of dj funk, dj micro, feelgood, etc. which were good too. And by the way, that additional 1-2hrs. of extra “booty house” in the house tent area, was all good, because the music was bumpin, which had the ladies (uuhhmmm) getting down, and me & my boi (minus our girlfriends who were walking around somewhere) was enjoying staring & taken pics of it all. :) Overall it was an pretty good time minus the bad weather us, hope everyone had an aight time. OK so for my bluelight rollcall shouts:
MrJamal: hey man thanks for the info. that there was a beer tent. After meeting you & the rest of your N.E. crew I went back and surprised my girlfriend’s cousin that they’re serving beer. She had just turned 21 that last Thurs. so offcourse we made it legally official by serving her up.
Speekah: always the pleasure man, hope you had a good partying night!! Thanks for the introduction to the hotties in your N.E. crew. Sorry I couldn't hangout and chill, chat & party with you and your peeps, but as you saw that guy was madd pressed to videotape me & Alma battling
Icey: good meeting you and your N.E. crew, I saw you guys rockin & representin with your dance circle & style!!
Bdreligrrl: (cutie, grrrr ;) ) I have got to get me a pic of you!!
Glowwrrm: another cutie from that N.E. lady's crew.
Kart: always much pleasure meeting & hanging out with you. I enjoy talking and finding out whats your thoughts about the hapeninig going on with the party. And yeah you were right, dj Micro’s tracks were skipping.
Web, cpt.howdy, batty (yet another bl cutie) & one other bler (sorry forgot sn)): anyways you all were my bluelight happy team for that night, :) cause when we metup all of you were all happy from having a good time, I was happy just cause I was at a party in the company of good music & friends. And offcourse we started acting the fool taking pics & chatting briefly, but yeah MD/DC/VA people were in there and having a good time!! And web, by the way, blame my girl for droppin my phone in a mud puddle as we left and shorting it out because you were on my list to call to find out what type of after events that were happening.
Now my bluelight tardy rollcall:
BKR: I mean WTF, I was lookin for you, to wrap my Vin Diesel arms around you, ;) hahaha, I’m jokin, but it turns out I had just missed seeing you when you were chilling with kart, next time
Princess lolita: you too, I mean WTF, I’m just playin again, ;) but yeah sorry for missing you. You didn’t post so I didn’t think that you were going to be at this event, next time
And I know I missed more people, because I’m thinking aobut 2 more people that I met, but at the moment can't seem to remember. Please let me know, be like "Sugafist, you don't remember meeting me at Boo?" ;) aight Anyways hope things went well for everyone

im glad some of you had a good time...
i know i wouldnt be able to deal with the cold and the mud
what i want to know is
why the fuck did soe ever think they could throw an outdoor party in october for anyway?
that is the reason i never got tickets (well that and the lineup didnt draw me in either)
i knew the weather was mad iffy
well again, glad you kids had fun
wish i couldve hung out with u guys afterwards
but no one called us... and i was passed out cold anyway hehe :)
hope to see you all at 'warm it up' ;) hehehe

oh.....my......god.....(long as fuck)
ok its 9:50 MONDAY morning, I have a midterm today that I didnt study for, I thought id study for it on sunday but uh yea, go me.
Everyone has already described the party and its downers. Basicaly the rain didnt bother me, it wasnt heavy rain or anything it was just annoying. THE MUD is what pissed me off, my shoes went from beige to black. its gonna take me a year to get all that mud off.
The vibe was good due to the people who came there to have a good time despite the rain, which was really cool, HOWEVER, there were tons of kids getting way too trashed and selling alot of fake shit, and for their stupidity they got arrested. I SAW AT LEAST 20 ARRESTS. It was crazy, I think soe got their funding for this party from the local police..... because it appeared they knew who they were going after before anything happened. I saw tons of people just get walked up to by two guys, and then handcuffed 3 seconds later, they werent dealing, no money or drugs were exchanged, just thrown in cuffs. One guy tried to run and they tackled him face first into the mud, jesus that must be embarrasing.
Music-wise, the jungle tent made it for me. Odi spun like the most amazing set ive ever heard him spin, and ive seen him like 100 times. Dieselboy was severely dissapointing and i wanted to strangle the mc's that were on stage with him because they were soooooo bad, and they would NOT shut the fuck up!
Yea, my other gripe is the hour and a half it took us to leave this party! OMG we are unorganized, in truth it really wasnt anyones fault at all, but it was just annoying. and yes, paul is a needle in a fucking haystack, trust me! I looked everywhere!
As for the afterparty, i dont gotta say shit, ya'll know how we do, im so glad you guys could experience it first hand. Katie, your friend jay set the whole vibe for the AP from the get-go spinning an energy inducing set that just got everybody in the best mood. It was awesome to meet everyone in this entirely chill environment, I stress again, I have NEVER, EVER, seen that many people in that house in my life. it was insane.
now for the fruity shout outs that I have to do or else everyone will beat me up.
Teddy/speekah - Thanks for the ride dude, I totaly cant party without you, you bring the vibe.
Jay/Icey - thanks to you too ;) totaly awesome dude with the million dollar bubbler, how many jaws did you drop?(and close lol) that night ;)
katie/bdreligrll Im so glad you chose to come to the party despite your problems. I told you it wouldnt have been the same without you and im glad we could provide you with a good time, We shall do this again soon, I promise :)
Sara/Glowworm - I love watchin you dance :) it was definatley good seeing you again
Jamal/MrJamal(duh) - "its my last one!" quick hide behind the couch! fucking fiends! lol great to see you and glad you had a good time, just dont strangle willie :)
KayDub & Ravetoy I saw you guys a couple times during the night, you both looked tired though, it was great seeing you, I hope you enjoyed yourselves in our fine little city.
BKR - mmmmmmmm we finally got to hang out again since one nation! I cant wait to see you and it will be soon dammit! I wish you couldve joined us afterwords, your presence would've made the night perfect :)
Dave/Toprocka and his friend - Awesome having you guys over, although you dont remember how bad dieselboy was, and you were standing right next to me! We shall start a new production company, stuck on drunk! weeeee, glad you had a good time bro, till next time...
Web, Batty, Cpt Howdy, the FAR ASS FUCK AWAY CREW ;) - YOU GUYS ARE AWESOME! and web, i STILL dont know what the fuck im gonna do with you. Im so glad you guys got to experience the Stamford kids in full swing, its a once in a lifetime chance my friend, good to have you with us :)
Pauly, Ralph, Pat, and the rest of my stamford motha fuckas!!! We showed them what the fuck is up man, they just didnt know, they just DIDNT know! I love you guys to death, I couldnt have had a better time if it wasnt for my crew, we own this world baby, we OWN IT! :D
i better see EVERYONE of your faces again soon, or im hunting you all down...fuck soe, but hopefully this is an eyeopener because yea, they lost a helluva alot of money. Im sure some of their dealers i mean...promoters got arrested as well ;) FUCK ALL THE BULLSHIT! I HAD A GREAT FUCKING TIME....all you bitchers, your all pussies, know how to make your night worth it, or dont go....thank you and goodnight(or morning rather......fuuuuuuuuck it)

I truly don't know what to say about this party...The first few hours I had a lot of fun, I finally met some bluelighters... I started to get really bored and annoyed around 4:00. I was pretty pissed off about the main stage not being setup. Once the sun went down however, I started having a great time. I forgot about the rain and the main stage and just enjoyed what I could. It was not worth the money, but I had a great time regardless.
I really wanted to see Green Velvet, but did not get to. I saw funk, which made me happy. Didn't get to see Micro or Richard Humpty Vission, which makes me upset, but it coulda been worse. I just found out from the SOE page that none of them even got to perform, so I guess I can't be to upset. Roger sanches didn't even perform either, which sucks.
Personally, I think under the circumstances, SOE did a good job. The city and fire marshalls didn't let them open the mainstage and a lot of the talent didn't even want to perform in the rain. You CANNOT blame SOE for the weather, and you KNOW that most of the downfalls of this party were because of the weather. SOE definately should have done something about the linesup postings, but the lineup turned into utter chaos because of the cancellations and lack of a mainstage.
I agree that some money back would definately be nice, but I also realize that SOE probably lost A LOT of money on this.
Teddy -- It was nice finally meeting yah, sorry I didn't get to chill more, I was wandering around aimlessly all day.
Icey, bdreligiongrl, Maui2k, PartECosta4rep, glowworm, and whoever else I met, it was nice meeting you guys briefly, sorry I didn't get to hang around more.
Overall, I had a good time, some parts sucked, some parts were great. Whats done is done.

I left happy and shitfaced...

It was great meeting all youse guys. didn't know who to look for so just kept waiting for sarah to point people out or for them to come find her. I agree that we all ought to find some time to meet up without an exensie ass party to go to.
THANK GOD FOR BEER! that was the only thngthat got me through the night. kinda expensive at 5 bucks a cup.... but i just kept pretending i was buying a bottle of water and then i felt like the price wasn't too bad ;) thats me, though... get some alchol in me and my attitude clears rigt up.
party was still disappointing for the same reason othes have said. im not gonna bother saying. I want a refund for t all... at least partial... but im sure we won't be seing those.
im not bitter... im glad some of you had fun ;) sarah and i tried to made a trip out of it and rented a room the night before... then got lost leavng new york and HAD to finally get another room. we dropped s much cash i makes me sick.... bu at least we got some hotel sex :D
