The Big & Dandy Methoxetamine Thread - 5th Dose (you took too much, seriously)

I regularly take it with molly... just like ketamine... never had any issues... never even felt hungover at all the next day...unless I had booze too... but I feel hungover after 4 shots and nothing else...

I'm not saying I reccomend it but I don't plan on stopping personally... I find mxe and mdma to be one of the best combos I've ever tried...
 
I hope you live :\. That's risky shit man. The one time I took DXM even a day after MDMA I got serotonin syndrome symptoms. I ended up seizing for hours and experiencing hot flashes and feeling of doom and dread, the DXM trip felt like it went on for 48hours, well beyond what 391mg of DXM should have done. I know it's a different drug, just, I dunno, be safe and keep doses low?

In terms of my own lack of harm reduction though, how bad is not using a wheel filter to IM MXE? I know I have 98% pure MXE, and I've IM'd about 40 times, how dumb am I being.
 
I have had other people test my batch... they say it's strong...

I plug 100mg and barely notice any effects :( fuck tolerance.

I guess that's what I get for doing it 3x a day for like 6 months.
 
Has anyone had any luck lowering their tolerance? I would assume it will take a looong time for it to go away, since it takes forever to build a tolerance to it.

I don't know yet... but I was doing a bunch and just ran out a week ago... not getting my shipment for another 4 or 5 days still... so ill be able to tell you when I get it if my tolerance changes a lot or a little or none =D
 
so...

last night i plugged about 120mg

it Knocked me off my ass.

tolerance to this stuff is very confusing. sometimes it hits FULLL blast, other times I feel like I didn't even take any....
 
Im going to give this one more try in the weekend, so far I dont think its all that great, but I'll give it one more chance! If I still just get blasted into the land of confusion and the feeling of going in insane then this will be the last time i use this in higher doses. Lower doses however is quite pleasureable!
 
To lower tolerance:

take a few days off MXE, and during these days take some pretty heavy doses of Piracetam.

Maybe a week of this if you've got a pretty serious tolerance.

worked for me, more than once ... now I always rage Piracetam in between MXE stashes ;)


give it a shot, I'd like to hear if it works for others as well
 
Is taking 100-150mg of MXE considered to high of a dose to a person with a high natural tolerance to psychedelics?

I would say so yea... I have a prettty high natural tolerance for most everything I've ever tried...

I took doses of around 50-75mg the first day I got some and was definately in a hole

After a couple days of that I decided "let's try 150mg"... this was a level that put me in a completely different realm... I traveled from the birth of the universe all the way through the evolution of our solar system to thhe evolution of life on earth.... I also saw the demise of humankind and life on earth and the burning out of the sun and the collapse of our solar system and finally the collapse of the entire universe back to where it started from....

You should definately have a very close friend babysitting who is very experienced with psychedelics because you will be able to walk and such but will not know the world you are in as it actually is.... you'll walk into traffic or strip naked and go for a walk or try to fly off a roof without even knowing to care... at this level I wasn't a human but simply a particle of electricity or light....

Haha thanks for the heads up, it sounds like the place where I want to go :P But I think i'll try half that dose before I venture into that hole. Cheers for letting me know what that dose is like!

I combined this large a dose with about 20mg of 2C-D(insufflated) just yesterday. Large parts I can't even begin to understand or converse into words. Above explanation did it quite well, I only really recall that my garden, with me laying down on the grass was everything and nothing, the entire universe or just one shape it took at that time, or perhaps a different dimension. I have no idea, what an experience though. The entire concept of me being a human, and everything I thought I knew about life left behind and forgotten. Unique and unlike anything I have ever experienced in my life.
I do however not recommend this dosage unless you're in a safe spot with, as above mentioned, at least one person sober watching you.

Are these mind blowing experiences similar to those of a big K-hole if you've experienced one? Personally what you described sounds like a few of my holes haha the entire concept of being human etc...
 
It was truly a very special experience there were definately some scary and some very emotional parts but It wasn't really like a bad trip it was more like something you didn't understand or couldn't comprehend that was alarming but at the same time... as the trip progressed these same things became understandable and were no longer scary... in fact thet now made sense and you then wonder why everyone else is so scared of them...

At one point I was in a very bright place... I was moving at tremendous speed but couldn't see where I was going because every direction looked like looking into a spotlight.... I was pretty certain that I was dead and this was the light you see.... but once your "eyes adjusted" I could see that I was in a very special place... a place of the gods.... and I'm an atheist... but it was a special place once you understood it....

i need to dose my I.M. injections seperately because i keep weighing out // preping 200mgs in 1ml and i think "oh ill just do this in 1/4s or 1/3s" but i get all comfy and end up basically coming to with an empty needle next to me.. anyone else run into this huge non-harm reduction problem?
 
@ ozchems- yes very similar to a k hole... the main difference is that k is much more incapacitating physically...when your at that level your stuck flat on your back... but mxe is more like pcp in that you can be deep in the hole and still be walking and taking and such... but the trip itself feels much more like k to me only warmer and friendlier and more tactile....
 
@ crookie - I used to IV opiates, blow, benzos and stuff and the only control I could ever find was limiting the amount I put into the syringe...

I guess I still do opiates on occasion but only maybe once or twice a year... beat that addiction once and don't want to have to do it again... wasn't fun lol...

Anyways what I'm saying is that I love the needle but have never felt the need to shoot up mxe... I actually do want to try it now just to see.... lol

Have you done mxe by other routes? If so, how would you compare the experience versus injection?
