Opioids 7oh and suboxone

I mean if you don't mind being broke, constantly redosing like a crack head go for it. Word to the wise though suboxone DOES NOT do anything for 7oh wd and I mean NOTHING.

Oh trust me I know how the compulsive redosing is 7oh. It’s horrible. I was addicted to it for like 7 months. I got up to spending over 1300$ a month on it ! It was horrible. I started off using it on occasions and before I knew it I was having it take a ridiculous amount ever couple hours to just stay out of withdraw. And subs did help me greatly with the withdraw. I know everyone is different though.

You too. I like your cat.

I don’t have any scientific evidence. Nothing peer reviewed.

But I do have my experience.

I noticed that even raw leaf kratom broke through suboxone. At the very least could be taken alongside kratom.

But you can actually feel 7oh strong while
On suboxone. Which means that it’s displacing the blockade effect on the receptor.

So whether buprenorphine
Or naloxone is responsible for the blockade effect, being able to feel 7oh is indicative that 7oh has a higher affinity for the receptor site than either bupe or naloxone. Definitely not the greatest scientific process in the world.

“If I take suboxone regularly, and use/feel 7oh, then 7oh must be breaking through the blockade, therefore 7oh must have a higher affinity for the site than either buprenorphine or naloxone.”
I know it's old but ya, it's true. That explains why subs do absolutely nothing the first 4-5 days of high dose 7oh withdraw.

That's great to hear subs worked for you, didn't do shit for me at all until day 4-5-6 when the 7oh was winding down off my receptors. 7oh had a higher binding affinity than subs which is crazy. I was on very high doses of 7oh tho and not even 16mg of bupe did fuck all for the wd

I was in between 500-1000mg of 7 for months ! Looking back it makes me sick how much money I spent in it

Same, wasted so much money on a shitty drug. It wouldn't be so bad if it didn't wear off in an hour and you could get CLEAN 7

I don't know if it was this thread or another one where I was talking about this, but I need to revise my earlier opinion.

Suboxone does in fact cause precipitated withdrawal from 7oh, but this is only an issue at very high doses of 7oh (500mg+ per day)

Idk I was using super high doses between 500-1000 a day for several months and I had no pw. So I guess everybody is different

Yeah, I never experienced it on my first several times switching to subs, but this last time I definitely did. Was coming off a weekend where I went through 2 grams over 3 or 4 days.

Weird.
I noticed it a couple times during a few of my last quits firstly the sub didn't do shit for the wd no matter what but I would get what I'd call minor Pw for a half hour or so after taking the sub, didn't last long and wasn't total hell but it was there

Do you have any evidence to back that up? I find that a little hard to believe due to bupes strong affinity but it does make sense
Correction I do concur. Explains why suboxone does nothing for 7oh withdraw until like a week fucking later but still doesn't make much sense bc it's so short acting but when I was doing 7oh, I'm not anymore but when I was I was doing at mininum 500mgs a day and 750mg at the worst but ya suboxone didn't touch me no matter the dose, not films at least but snorting a tablet when my doses were low in the beginning did help but I was still in rough shape

When I first began Suboxone treatment, my doctor started me on 2mg. At that dose, I was still using around 500mg of 7oh daily like it was nothing. Eventually, my dose was increased to 8mg, which helped some—but I was still experiencing pretty strong cravings for both 7oh and traditional opioids.

At that point, I would take my Suboxone in the morning and still end up using 80–120mg of 7-OH in the evening. After being honest with my doctor about the ongoing cravings, he bumped me up to 16mg. That’s the dose where things finally began to level out for me, and I stopped using kratom altogether.

That said, the mental battle was still very real. I had a few tough days where I almost relapsed—especially after dreaming about using again—but thankfully I stayed the course.

Yea I’ve seen a number of people mention that they went through it when I went on the r/quitting7oh subreddit. I mean I’m still iffy on Reddit for my own personal reasons, but would check out that subreddit on and off over the last year whenever I was trying to get off 7oh and pseudo. I mean I know this is a he said she said (as I never went through it personally because I used other ways of getting off including CT … which was hell) but it definitely didn’t seem like they were lying at all … they were clearly going through PWD and in distress.

Anyways, yea getting up to 700mg plus everyday with pseudo added really fucked up my body and the amount I ran up my credit cards I’m still paying down. That shit turns on you quick and trying to get out of withdrawal every 2 hours is hell.

I'm not a suboxone patient so I have zero tolerance to it and even when I was using traditional opiates subs would take me out of wd after the first day, first day it didn't help but got better after that but with the 7oh nah not even 20mg touched my withdrawals, not a single bit and I'm not being dramatic like it did nothing even with gabapentin I was still feeling the full brunt of it but I recognize me doing 500mg to a gram a day of 7 is not the average persons experience but ya subs are ass for 7oh withdraw either that or the films I got off the street were bunk but I got different brands from different people and it all did nada

Ya and did you notice how insanely high anxiety would spike after only a half hour since last 7 dose??? Man that anxiety is what kept me dosing every hour around the clock 50+mg a dose.

Then you got the people blatantly lying saying shit like oh 7 didn't cause me a single withdraw syndrome same with kratom like ya okay bud telling me your 50-60gpd habit of kratom caused zero withdraws??? Ya fucking right. I know everyone is different but that's just a total lie bc they don't want to get their drug banned.

lol yea that’s true, I’ve had the same thoughts. A while ago there was a guy claiming on there that anyone who’s said they’ve been through 7oh withdrawals are bots lol
