Would you choose to be a God of dumb animals?

As I don't know what it means to be God, even in this Yahweh example/story/incarnation, let alone the possibility of "Godhead/Brahman/Ultimate Ground of Being/Tao..."...I would say that I have no choice but to say I am and would be what Life makes me to/wants me to be.

@Gnostic Bishop I also don't know how you are defining "dumb animal" and does that include "human being/human animal". I can not be what I am not so this is pure mental masturbation. I am what/who I am.

Only answer that seems "right" to this kind of question is: "I want to be what Life wants me to be.".

I am obviously bounded by my senses, size, depth, power, and all other conditioning (biological and psychological) that come with human condition...and feel like a small "part" of the ineffable Whole. So I would leave "The Whole" to determine or lead to what is best for "me" as a part of it. My wish is what is most harmonious for life and I would want to be a harmonious part in that harmony. What ever that might be.

It is Life's (or Gods/Brahmans/Taos...) turn to "calculate" and "wish" what it wants from me to be.

I wouldn't even open to this sub unless I am high so I am not surprised posts can be difficult to follow.

This question posed by OP is confusing because the God in the old testament is the God of people from thousands of years ago. They generally stayed in the region, no one had sailed around the world, science didn't exist, the laws of physics didn't exist. Homosexuals - I can't find anything about it being a sin except for a reference to some soldier who laid with men (and something about young boys) women don't get a say in anything and just give birth to sons.



God didn't make humans. Humans made God. Gods and how society runs were hand in hand, far more than now.

That God just reflected what life was like at the time. We have evolved and dont have the same amount of importance in God so hypothetically speaking, If I were a God, I'd have to think about that in terms of modern society, would humans around now buy the idea of God now if God was not in existence until now? If I were God, would anyone actually form their society around me? Hello no!

Lol, I am going to say yeah, its easier to be a God of uneducated dumbasses so I'll say yep I'm down with being God Dumbass.

Also, this thread is based on the Judeochristian idea of God... as a separate entity.

The eastern notion of God is that it is everywhere and we are part of it.

I think the Bible's description of God contains a lot of eastern allegory, which means the idea of God is universal -- but political motivations have watered down the Bible so much over the centuries that it's impossible to really know the true intent anymore.

Almost everything Jesus says about himself and God are really allegorical to how the east describes Divinity.

God's word is unchanging, according to scripture. There's nothing about God changing as a being, so I can't answer to that part

So, this is what you think but it doesn't have anything to do with what's in the Bible. I'm just going by scripture so that's why I misunderstood you
 
I would certainly not be a God of humans because they want to be God themselves, but I would certainly agree to be a God of actual animals.
 
1) for the luls. It makes a good story/experience. Knowing everything that has been, and will be must be boring.

2) we arent the final form (thank god) and whatever is coming next will be better

What if God created being far more intelligent than God, would God have the kind of leverage over his creations society in that situation ?

We are created in god's image.

I created my offspring with the hope that they will match and exceed whatever I am.

As a creator, did you create your children to have leverage over them, or to show the excellence of your creating ability?

If a supernatural god created us for his own aggrandisement, then he is an immoral dick wad.

If created for his pleasure, the way scriptures say god created good and evil to serve, then I would give god a pass.

Which of our moral tenets have we changed or reversed over time?

I do not know of any, even as we have evolved physically.

Our instinct, and the morals they produce, are the same today as in the distant past.

I described Yahweh as seeing us as dumb animals as compared to him.

Life gave me life. It is not sentient, and so my mind tells me what I want to be, not life.

Life does not desire anything. You and I can.

God is frustrated we have elevated morons to be our leaders and created systems to keep people stupid.
