i can't tolerate tricyclics because of their (mild) anticholinergic effects, i have extreme adverse reactions to anything anticholinergic (i can't even take a diphenhydramine for allergies, it just makes them worse) as a result of atropine/scopolamine poisoning about two years ago (i have been slowly regaining my mental faculties ever since), mirtazepine (tetracyclic, btw) and nefazodone for the same reason (nefazodone, as with trazodone, is also an antipsychotic sedative that can cause liver damage, priapism [to be blunt, i don't want to have to get blood drained from my cock with a syringe!] and severe weight gain [i have, over the summer, dropped from 221lbs to 195lbs {at 5'8.5" tall}, i am NOT going to put on that poundage again!]).
and no, reboxetine is not available in the US.
also, i tend to have a diet high in tyramine containing foods (dairy products, meats etc.) though moclobemide seems to have less dietary restrictions than other MAOIs (a little off topic but, i know one particularly nutty mathematician/engineer [iq probably 185-195] who was on a high dose daily regimen of iproniazid and an SSRI [i can't remember which] for several years and was completely fine. weird no?)
