got two bets for tonights UFC.

$30 on
Barao, Aldo, Overeem, and Cariaso vs Martinez going to decision.
to win $58

then $2 on
Barao, Aldo, Overeem, Bagautinov, Varner, Makdessi, Cariaso vs Martinez going to decision, Watson, and Iaquinta.
to win $63.

let's see if I'm so lucky this time around. idk if i shoulda bet on 4 different fights for the $30 bet. typically i think im gonna stick with 2-3 fights for my main bet because im really pressing my luck the more fights i put up. while i'd say i'd be pretty unlucky if any of the four things didnt go my way, the more fights the better chance something might go wrong.

Faber really was wearing a suit when he got off of his bus and entered the arena? I cannot wait to see him get KO'd.

didnt win my $2 bet, but won my main one and got $56 overall.
 
Well, Rousey fights again in 3 weeks. That should be a better PPV to watch.
 
i thought the main card was fine, but that early stoppage at the end sucked. barao woulda won the fight anyways imo but still wish i coulda seen more. the prelims for the most part were bad though.
 
It was their worst event (hindsight being 20/20 of course) in a while.

Female MMA ruined the sport forever. It's a fact. Rousey should have stuck to judo/sambo for nationals, pan-am, and worlds/Olympics. Aubi Dabi as well.

Fact according to whom? What source?

She medaled in judo at the Olympics and won numerous other titles, what else did she have to prove? I'm not going to throw all kinds of info out to convince you because this is your opinion. And mine is that WMMA is breathing new life into the sport with Rousey being the outspoken and sometimes nasty flag bearer that brought them into the UFC. And with Spider and GSP out, she is the brightest star they have at the moment. If Pettis could stay healthy he would be a star too.

That's ok, they are still evolving but for the most part (as last season's TUF showed) women's fights have been more exciting to watch than the mens' for a while now.
 
Female MMA is non-competitive in all actuality. There isnt a big pool of women in the world that want to fight, or even have the physical ability to endure a training camp or weight cut.
It's like watching gore fights- its pathetic and not a finese level. You can see the 'ability' displayed at any gym around the world. And honestly guys, I find it quite unattractive. I don't find super muscular andro-faced women to be sexy.
 
I admit that some of the other female fights can be a little boring. But I think that the title fights are going to remain very entertaining until Rousey loses. She's an entertainer, she really has the fans divided over her, which leads to very exciting fights. And at this point, it's entertaining to see the next girl's best effort against her. The other girl always gets the crowd behind her, and I think that Rousey actually wants that. She loves the negative attention. The last female fight was incredible. My heart was pounding the entire time.
 
Different strokes for different strokes. I've reverted back from an MMA freak to my judo, jujitsu, and boxing roots.
Still miss my sambo days, but my body is apperantly too weak for judo/sambo anymore.
 
No one finds Cyborg attractive, haha.

Most of the the women are not even that muscular. They tend to look more like fitness models as more muscle does not add that much to their skill set. Thanatos, your best point is that some of the women's fights can be unwatchable and that I do not disagree to a point. Just like you were an unapologetic Chiefs fan this past season, I am the same about Ronda Rousey. The difference being that I know her time at the top is limited to when the other ladies figure her out. Right now she is a judo specialist & until someone can counter her ridiculous acumen in that area she will keep winning. And I will enjoy her technical brilliance in each of her fights. That said, she will help to bring better ability from the fighters on their way up because it will take someone with better technical skill to beat her. Or, as some haters say, let Cyborg roid rage all over her face.
 
Whether it's "sexy" or not is irrelevant. "It's pathetic", well that's subjective. I still don't see how women have ruined the sport forever.

If woman replaced men entirely or something, then I could see your point. But MMA is exactly the same as it's always been except.... now there's the occasional woman's fight !!! 8o
