UK blanket ban on cannabinoids imminent?

im rollin witH FUnky BudDha right about now! and pink etiz.%) got back well early from work.

From that report:

"It should be noted that detection of novel synthetic cannabinoids is potentially an
issue, as police dogs are not trained to detect the substances and there is no routine
urine test currently available for employment drug testing and testing of arrestees
and prisoners"

Standard. Gonna enjoy it whilst it lasts

There is only a recommendation for a ban so far. If past experience is anything to go by I expect it will be enacted towards the end of November.

Thanks. And thanks for finding the document itself ! I knew it would be 'out there' somewehere but was feeling too lazy yesterday to search for it myself.

I see the document also contains links to the websites where the substances can be purchased. =D Thanks for that. Let's get bookmarking.

(Mods - I probably should not have said this, so if someone decides to censor it, fair enough. Please remove this sentence ratrher than the links to the doc itself though, as that is obviously good information for other reasons too)

Evidence concerning the social harms of the synthetic cannabinoids is scarce and
there is little in the scientific literature because of their relatively recent appearance.

The Crime Survey for England and Wales – Drug Misuse Declared 2011/12
highlights that 0.1% of 16 to 59 year olds reported using „Spice‟ and other
cannabinoids in the last year. For 2010/11, the figure was 0.2%. It is reasonable to
expect that the societal harms would be comparable to those of cannabis.

6.8% of 16-59 year olds had used cannabis in the 2010/11 year, I didn't notice and societal harms from them and there's 34x as many of them apparently.

They didnt state what the societal harms were though did they ? Probably because they are relatively extremely minor compared to alcohol.

Saying that, some of this stuff is far far more dangerous than weed. I had a full on addiction to 2201 and coming off involved weeks of barely being able to hold down water, twitches, random anger, panic attacks and and aggressive rages, not to mention soaking the bed to the mattress with sweat the nights that I actually managed to sleep. Took a good month or two to get back to "normal".

Even disregarding that I've also seen and experienced convulsions and psychotic episodes from the stuff, glad the temptation to order it again will be gone, although this ban does make me want to buy some before its never available again. -.-

^^

You arn't saying you need the police to control your drug use are you hx?

^^^^

Thanks for that foolsgold :)

Thing is the variety of different chemicals that can be CB agonists will either make this ban ridiculously comprehensive or rather pointless. The massive increase in the random, purely made for the RC market chemicals will help them alot with their wording and inclusion of lots and lots of them though =/.

This has actually tempted me so much that I've ordered a gram, the 25g deal was bloody tempting too but bulk cannabinoid orders are too dangerous for my addictive personality.

what is your opinion on funky buddha, I'm gonna get some blueberry blitz while it is on a firesale, tempted to get some funky buddha too.

Why don't you just buy some proper cannabis?, it is absolute stupidity buying these synthetics. You are asking for a panic attack (at least) buying that.

On second thoughts, don't buy cannabis, you will just give it a bad name, stick with the synthetics.

I used to smoke real cannabis but in the end it got too much for me, I've read about funky buddha a bit now and it seems that blueberry blitz was the one to go for, ur-144, more of a body high and less of an anxiety headfucky high.

I'm still non the wiser about what's going, but I tried my first ur144/damiana blend the other day and it was great. Looks like I'll have to make my own blends if the uk vendor blends disappear
