See, basically what happens is, after you've taken a thumbprint and your 5HT receptors are saturated, LSD turns into cocaine and gives you a runny nose.

No wonder I could never do just one thumbprint. :\

BTW, Swilly, have I acquired dyslexia or have you gone and jubelmed your mane ruaound?
 
Hhaha... tobe's you cynical fucker. I was just about to comment on this comment. Willow... LSD doesn't wait to tickle other receptors. For some reason I was thinking the saturation point of LSD was 600ug for 5ht2a. But it's not, or is it? Now I'm doubtful. But I'm pretty certain that once you have 600ug in your body or 1500 as F&B stated earlier you're past your body's ability to utilize the drug. It's not magic.

Pimp laze: i dont wanna come off all condescending or insult your intellect here but seriously reconsider the seroquel script. Its not worth the long term changes IMO but i dont know your specific situation & needs. u seem educated enough so im just gonna assume its positive side effects out weigh the negative for you, dont mix with LSD tho either! & nicely written & info stuffed monster post up top.

I dont feel ness' pride will been effected (at least i hope not) even if he was proved wrong or right, even the smartest person in the world makes mistakes and any&every jackass can get lucky with a guess! Im not saying your a jackass by any means or the smartest person in the world, its just an analogy that the best can fuck up and the worst can get lucky

the soul thing we can argue for hours but im gonna let that occur in a different thread if it does at all since its more less a matter of opinion.
I do believe how ever without the ego & if every human knew they were apart of one divine consciousness their would be no need to "survive" or reproduce etc. && someones gotta do that, right?
 
Time and time again, what happens in a lab or on paper doesn't happen in real life. I understand that, on paper, after ~600ug-1.5mg no amount of LSD should make you trip harder. I knew that before I ever opened this thread. The subjective experiences of others, however, suggest that that is not true in the real world.

the trouble with that thread is that, to the best of my recollection, chinacat is the only one with the thumbprint experience. I'm not about to trust the subjective experience of one person over the theoretical science behind it.
 
whiterasta also had a thumbprint experience, & so did a few others throughout the thread. (by their own admission)
 
^But Chinacat doesn't even mention how he felt for the thumbprints really, except really non-comittal nonsense, like "I was All"- all fucking what? Blah. I think that guy MAY just be shit bulling.

Ness- what we have to do is thumbprint you, tie you to a chair and interview you. Then a week later we'll try a 700ug dose. Then another thumbprint. So then you'll know what your talking about, not merely rehashing waht may be a load of crap ala Chinacat. ;)

whoaah man i was gonna say, could swillow possibly be the reincarnation of willow!?

Im considering the proposal which involves straps and a chair and a nice few crystals BUT i dont think catching brain-slaughter charges are worth ness' educational experience at this current state in time.

Personally, i dont resist when gals' attempt to strap me to things but that may just be whats been getting me in trouble!
 
Chinacat also keeps saying that laying paper gets you really high. Nick Sand once painted his arm with a strong solution of LSD in DMSO and didn't get so much as a buzz. I think at the very least he's exaggerating a *lot* of stuff; and if that ever gets revealed later he'll say he was just "protecting" people or whatever.

Sorry for veering off-topic for a moment, but thought I'd grab my chance to ask a question stimulated by the above comment.

Because of the chance of dropping a few extra drops of liquid LSD onto one's tongue, folks I know drop it first onto the back of their hand, then lick it off. The theory being that what you don't lick will be absorbed through your skin, and therefore you will get the full intended dose. I am a bit sceptical of this, and It's a baby's comment makes me think I may be right in thinking you get a reduced dose.

What do any of you more experienced guys out there think?

^the main reason one should drop acid on one's hand is when it not your hand on the vial. Don't trust hippies not to spray you with 20 hits...

Me too =D

Now back to the original point - does a significant amount of LSD get wasted because it doesn't actually get absorbed through the skin, and doesn't get picked up by the lick :p
 
^well, if you're doing a thumbprint I don't think not licking it will change much, maybe just how hard your death is.

from expierence, there is no difference between twenty and fifty hits. but when a vial gets accidently spilled in your mouth while dosing up, there is a HUGE fucking difference.

yeah...it was in my fucking parents house, last summer soltice, had some people over i met at a barter fair....lets just say that the vial on the face, i swear to god i was floating above my body for about a week watching everyone else fry, it didn't matter, i wasn't anything...it was fucked up crazy awesome.

Changes in sun/earth orbit cycles are amazing.
