The Travel Thread - I am lovely and respectful to all in my path PLUR <3 xxxxx

This thread has provided many a laugh's, the image of PTCH off his twat with a loaded RPG looking for some cows is classic, half tempted to just save up as much as possible and fuck off round Asia and India for a few months, but i will see how this pans out first, if ya actually go through with it!

Yeah great idea. Wait until some cunt on the internet, that you don't even know, gets on before you decide to do something that you apparently want to do.

No excuses. Just go.

Lol well even if I do decide to do it it won't be for a good while as unlike parttime I won't be getting a nice wedge so it'll be the slow struggle of saving for moi, seriously tempted to do an Indian/himilayas/nepal trip, sitting high up in malana smoking charas sounds quite fun

Well less of being 'seriously tempted' and more saving then, it's not going to happen by magic. My mate recently trekked to Everst base camp without a guide, just hired a £2 set of water proof trousers and went off with his backpack, 12 days of continuous walking, no showers or anything. Cunt has no experience of this sort of thing just didn't want to spend thousands of quid to go on n organised trek or to hire guides.

Spade have you ever been to Las Vegas?

I have .

In fact i've travelled the whole Of Route 1 In California. Starting in Orange County Newport to be exact all the way down to San Francisco taking in all the sights on the way.

Also i'm lucky enough to have done the Grand Canyon ( White water Rafting was amazing ) Lake Tahoe, Stayed @ Yosemite, Oh & Tijuana Mexico. Went their when we were in San Diego which is my fav. of all the cities i've stayed in the States.
Sacramento the state capital was a let down though .

California is a great place to visit . It helps if you have family & months rather than weeks . I couldn't imagine going for less than a month theirs just to much to see and do.

Not everyone's thing but for me some of the best memories i have are from my two stays in California.

California sounds awesome. The scenery must be breathtaking.

If/when I travel next I wanna see more of the worlds wildlife before it ends up extinct.
Already missed the chance to see a certain giant tortoise that recently became extinct.

Gotta stop letting this worlds beautiful wildlife go unappreciated.

One of my highlights in Vegas was seeing a roadrunner. <3

Lake Tahoe & The Grand Canyon are all they are made up to be & more.

Sunrise & Sunset over the Grand Canyon words don't do it justice & neither do the pictures that i found on Google !!

Yeah man, pictures never seem to capture the real life beauty of epic scenery.

Even yesterday evening on the beach was breathtakingly beautiful - it was proper surreal.
A picture wouldn't of done it justice tho.

You into birds (of the wild life variety)? We almost ran over a cassowary in Northern Queensland, Aus. Those things are very rare and only exist in North Queensland, nowhere else in the world.

The pictures don't really do it justice but they are massive, look like dinosaurs with huge claws, and are vicious as fuck.

It's a cassowary Cornish. Looks similar to an emu I guess but more violent. That picture makes it look small and shitty but they are huge and have claws the size of my arms. Very violent and when they attack they jump up like you can see dig their claws in to your skin and can rip your organs right out. When it ran out onto the road it looked like a dinosaur, freaky looking things. I went for a walk through the forest one day on Great Keppel Island and there were loads of them roaming around. I properly freaked out as I expected them to attack, almost had a heart attack tbh. Managed to get away from them in the end.

Yeah they are freaky as fuck and they are quite rare, only found in that one specific state in Australia and nowhere else. Cool to see though. So much weird and wonderful creates out there in Aus!

Watch out for the drop bears. ;)

A friend of mine found a poisenous redback spider under the toilet seat :D

I was v careful to check after that and shake my famous dms out in case a noseless one had made its home in one.

I didn't see any spiders and snakes in Aus thankfully, that'd freak me out as I'm shit scared of both. The huntsman spiders hang out in your house. FREAKY!

Those vw sized cockroaches in Thailand that you can hear running around the room in the night. I had one scurry over me one night.. *shudder* You go to bed and pull up the sheets to your nose looking left and right for whatevers going to traumatise you in the night. :sus: I woke up one morning to a fucking scorpion sitting by the bed ffs.

You need to stay in better places. I never had cockroaches, scorpions or anything else in my room in Thailand, ever. :D

Pay £2 a night and you'll sleep in a slum though Yella, pay slightly more and you can get really good accommodation.
