I'm totally with everyone that says if its not IV, and in the same rig, it's not a speedball. I've been doing them the past 7 hours. Did the last about 30 min ago. It was with morphine though(I consider that or dope to qualify as a true speedball). Not that I'm not feeling pretty damn good now, but there is a definite difference between the m, and the diacetyl. I prefer it with dope, but it was the difference between driving 25 min each way to get it, or getting the morphine from the same place as the coke only a mile away.

honestly - and I'm sayin this outta pure thought-experiments - but why the fuck would you want to hit coke/crack at the same time as D? The two rushes are, from what I've heard, quite different, and I cannot fathom wanting to just join the two up - seems like there'd be a loss, not a synergy....
/never did a 'proper' speedball, am I missing something? I feel it'd be better to alternate needles* of coke and D, wouldn't it? I thought you'd fly up on the coke, then rush down on the D, repeat as desired....
*I imagine needles could be replaced, in this instance, by smoking crack for the coca aspect, and smoking (fent?) for the ope aspect.
***are speedballs, by definition, only when one preps *both* substances for injection in the same needle? I can understand a 'needle-only' rule here, but seems silly to say it's not a speedball if you've got prepped pins all over the table of coke and D, and you're just taking turns shooting needles of the two... does "speedball" rely on both hitting simultaneously? Do doctors prescribe Lyrica alot faster than they would with oxy or hydro?
^^ absolutely yes... it is supposed to have little to no abuse potential...the only problem is that they are some of the most expensive motherfuckers. i had to switch to gabapentin for this reason, but i still can get good results with opiates/benzos at 1000-1500 mgs gabapentin stacked over several hours

I'm going to edit the title a bit so it fits better with BDD's guidelines. 
It aint "unfortunate for me". A speedball "these days" means wat the fuck it is. A speedball. Heroin and coke in a shot. YOU might call watever random-ass combination of drugs you do a "speedball", but that dont mean that the word applies to it. And that dont mean that real people, in the real world, will accept that definition either. Talk that shit all you want on the internet, in real life, a speedball means coke and dope IV, anybody you ask will tell you that, and thats all it is. You dont change the meaning of a word by using it to refer to some other shit.
If you want to talk about doin other combinations of drugs together cuz you cant or wont do coke and dope IV, then you can do that just fine, but dont call it a speedball, cuz it aint. Just becuz you dont do coke or dope or shoot up, you think you "deserve" a word for the shit you DO do, so you steal "speedball" and then be like "yo, these days, it applies to ANY combination, you should know that, duh!" lol.

The classic speedball is heroin+cocaine, your right.
That doesn't mean that mixing other kinds of stimulants+opiates isn't also speed balling..... or for that matter mixing any upper+downer.

I agree that it's not worth arguing about. Regardless of what you call a speedball, I think most of us who've tried it can attest to the fact that combining your opiate and stimulant of choice leads to a more pleasant experience than one or the other. Sure it's more intense when you shoot H and scale in the same rig, but not everyone is cool with putting some relatively 'pure' powder that doesn't happen to be sterile directly into their blood stream. So does it really bother you so much when someone decides to eat a couple percs with their little dose of ritalin, realizes the highs mix well and thinks they did a 'speedball' bother you enough to write half a novel about how you are way more hardcore than them and how their misuse of a slang term is ruining your day...you've been shooting real speedballs, if the rush is really good enough to risk your life, try enjoying it while it lasts.

Ok I don't want to get involved with this definition war.
But I love the Pharm Speedballs. I've done a few different combinations many different ways but I find the best is actually a trifecta of awesomeness.
First I use 8mg of Hydromorphone so it kicks like a mule on crack.
Then I add 20mg of Morphine just to give that mule Stallion legs.
Then finally 10-20mg of Cocaine or Ritalin to enhance the whole thing causing the kicking stallion legged mule to orgasm mid buck.
Obviously this is all IV'd. (I do totally agree that you CANNOT have a speedball of ANY KIND if you don't IV it. The main advantage of a speedball is that awesome rush when you push the plunger.)
IMO I feel safer using these pharms and I actually find a mix of hydromorph and morphine has a better kick than heroin and the legs aren't to different, plus this way I know my exact dosages so can adjust as needed.
I use slightly less upper than most people would because I'm an opiophile and I don't want my speedballs to overly stimulating.

Ok so what about using concerta instead of ritalin.I know concerta is the same ingredient as ritalin,but of coursde its alot more in preparing it for i.v. usage.
But will concerta properrly extracted feel like i.v. ritalin?

In this day and age, nearly every "upper+downer" combo on the planet is reffered to as a speedball, "psuedo-speedball" etc.
While I agree with you, it's just semantics. It doesn't have to detract from the discussion at all.
