Backstreet Boys can suck my dick.

yih yih, you know it. New Kidz are the TRUE original oldskool boyband, y0.

If you're gonna take it back to the old skool, then it's all about the Jackson 5. They were and still are THE greatest boy band ever.

Jackson 5 isn't a boy band. When Michael Jackson is filling out forms and they ask Sex: (M/F) he just puts "yes".

New Kids, BSB, Micheal J?!?
I hope this topic takes new direction very very soon...

back to PVD- it is funny that most people in this messageboard consider him a "master", while most (others) consider him a "master" of cheese.

*bump* for those who haven't had their fair share of sounding off

Hi, my name is CrystalMeth Bunny, and I am a happy hardcore addict...
It's not that I can't appreciate other kinds of electronic music, I just gravitate to HHC for some reason. I think this goes back to Halloween 99, a freind took me to a house party and I fell in love with it. I was listening to punk since 94, and I was getting sick of all the anger, all the negativity, and then I find this whole style of music that's really positive and upbeat, it's usually pretty fast, which is a plus.
HHC is kind of like an agressively freindly 15 year old girl who sits down next to you and says something to the effect of "Hi! How are you? Really? That's GREAT! Do you have an extra cigarette? Can I borrow your lighter?"... sorry, that's the most creative analogy I can come up with right now. It's really annoying at first, but then it kind of grows on you.
And on a related note, I think people should stop playing "Shooting Star" RIGHT NOW. Shooting Star is just another way of saying, "Well, I COULD have mixed in something good right here, but I'm not creative."
My musical tastes are diversifying a bit now, to be honest....
Okay people, start your flaming!

Yeah, but is it art?

Actually, that's a pretty good analogy...

There's links are for Skinny G, you should check these out, especially "New Panties" on the second site. It's noisy as fuck, and sounds like an answering machine is being ass-raped by a chainsaw, but it's interesting, to say the least. Oh yeah, check out Turn up the Bass Megamix 1990 on the first site, it's like 10,000 BMPs. You will like it. (okay, that last bit of advice was mean)

so far, i havent seen ANYONE who resects ALL styles and genres od electronic music...how sad...if anyone out there does...then email me. (if u want ofcourse lol)

do you see the light?

thanks for the links bunny, but i cant listen to that one song cause my comp. doesnt play real audio.
Well, i'm downloading "panties" mp3 right now. This shit isn't as hardcore as me is it?

I'm open to most things new to my ear. My tastes have developed a bit in the past 10 or more years. Right now I'm about things that are described by the words acid, tech, and hard. I dunno. All the genre's and their subs' are not all that important to me. I just know something when I like it. It's overall quality is measured by it's longevity
over time. I don't think good stuff ever really sounds "old." There are exceptions sure. ummmm... whatever.

here we go again.."happy" hardcore is just hardcore and what is more commonly know as hardcore (the faster mean crap) is actually the sub genre terrorcore or speedcore....sigh i feel like ive said that before

hardcore the last of the true rave sound

Lots of different stuff is known as 'hardcore', and the happy is put in to distinguish that particular sound.
what people call old school hardcore was better known as 'ardcore back in the day.
