We Need to Talk About Kevin was disturbing, to me at least. There were a lot of moments that made my stomach turn and physically cringe.
Lol, I thought the Wizard of Oz was more disturbing than Megan is Missing.
For some reason I had been hearing a lot about Event Horizon as a good psychological horror movie...
It most certainly is not. My first clue should have been that it was directed by Paul W.S. Anderson of the Resident Evil franchise. I kept waiting for it to get good but nothing ever happened.
I just finished watching Kill List, that's definitely quite creepy & unnerving.
I would suggest not looking it up at all though. Just watch it.
Flowers of flesh and blood series was okay, not really that disturbing though.

There was one movie in the series I saw on Youtube that was actually pretty cool. I think it was called "Mermaid" or something like that. It wasn't as overtly violent or gory as some of the other films in the series, but the gore it did have had a strange Rorschach-like quality. Like you couldn't quite tell what each scene was supposed to be, it was just a strange collage of glinting, pulsating body fluids and flesh. I wouldn't say I "enjoyed" it, but it did have a strange sort of macabre beauty about it.
Also, was that pic you posted from FoFaB? Those Japanese really have the market cornered on shockingly-realistic gore.
