The most disturbing film you have seen?

I agree with what !!4iV4HF9R34g said and I think he may just be my lost brother .I don't think I'm a sick fuck others probably do I don't care I like what I like and I will not stop.anyway here's a list of movies that I think were some of the most disturbing and I would like movies like these.Gummo,A clockwork Orange ,cube , cube 2 , cube zero ,Dark floors
Funny Games,Hard Candy,Hostel 1 , Hostel 2 ,Jacobs Ladder,Pandorum,Requiem For A Dream,Natural Born Killers
The Killing Room and The Midnight Meat Train.A couple maybe should not be on that list and a couple more movies I have seen should be theres a short list.

Irreversible. For the most graphic violence I have *ever* witnessed (guy gets skull crushed) and the anal rape scene was pretty excruciating. The leading lady is gorgeous but doggonit I can't think of her name.

The worst thing i ever seen in a movie is the scene in Hostel where the girl is hanging upside down and the other woman is under her cutting her with a corn knife and drinking her blood and apparently having a sexual experience over it.

I can take a lot of things but this about did it for me. I couldnt watch it.

I dont do well with any sort of torture scene anyways. I dont like it a bit.

I like horror movies but not gross things.

I am kind of a wimp.

I saw that and enjoyed it you say you can handle alot apparently not if you can't handle that.It is nothing compared to what I have seen you must be talking about mainstream movies that's what you usually watch I could give you movies that would shatter your perfect little world. Also I recommended to my 17 year old girlfriend to watch both hostel 1 and 2 she also enjoyed them lol

You're a sick fuck.

As far as disturbing movies I've seen, American History X is up there.

You should probably watch This Is England. Same kind of thing but it's British so obviously a lot better in terms of realism and quality.

The japanese film Audition.

The ending is one of the craziest torture scenes I have seen.

I didn't think that was that bad. Probably because I had heard so much about how disturbing this movie was that I was expecting more. Ya, I squirmed around watching the needles and the way the wire worked the bone, but I find a movie like Kids to be more disturbing.

Hey, has anyone seen Human Centipede 2 yet? Every time I try to get it, it is some fake file that wants me to go pay for a password. I hear that it really shows all of the shitting in people's mouths and a lot of the "surgery" as well.

^ Agreed. Audition bored me tbh. Ichi The Killer (also by Takashi Miike) is way worse.

finally, someone said it. I think the idea behind Audition was good - a girl who is really fucked up and there are no amount of meds she could take to fill the black hole. But the execution didn't do it for me, no pun intended. I don't know whether it needed more cowbell or what, but it was just too austere for me in a way that I don't think was purposeful. Then again, I had the same problem with Oldboy, where the situation just seemed like one big troll fest meant to make me laugh rather than make me cry (lol, that's your daughter, guy). Serbian Film was a fucking laugh riot. "Start with the small one." Evil prevails.

movies in these discussions are, often in my opinion, over-hyped. i've seen many mentions of 'salo' in threads about disturbing movies - i found it a complete let-down. it was slow as hell and the disturbing scenes were, to me, not really that disturbing.

i tend to be disturbed less by visual imagery and more by concepts like injustice, revenge, etc. - for me, dancer in the dark was disturbing. dogville - by the same director - likewise.

I dunno if this has been mentioned yet but the French film Caché is pretty disturbing. It builds up real slow but when 'it' happens you are completely blown away and utterly shaken. Its also by the same director as Funny Games Michael Haneke.

Megan is Missing is in the top 5 most disturbing movies I have ever seen and it is real .That's what makes it so sick you can't unsee this it will stick in your head there is one image you will always remember at least one and it is sick. I have seen so much fucked up shit in my life but this is one of the worst.

It's a fictional story made up of bits and pieces of true events. I'm not sure if the creators have commented on exactly which real life events inspired the story, but you can check the IMDB entry.

The last 22 minutes are just as fictional as the rest of the film. Why does everyone assume the movie is made up of real footage? This isn't the first time I've heard that.
