The EADD a trifle annoyed thread v. I bet that smarts a bit

^^^^^^I'd put your foot down, Snollz or they'll be calling you all hours all the time thinking you're a soft toych xxxx

Evey

Yeah you're right, it's ridiculous. Sorted it out now, thank god. It's not all the managers that are like that, just one particular one can't keep up and it's pissing a lot of people off. The other two are excellent.

If its " Man" flu it can run its course in 24hrs =D

Haha, weirdly that's what everyone seems to think it is, bloke doesn't have the greatest rep!

I am a trifle annoyed x 2. Like a twat this morning I had gone to see my next door neighbour and as soon as I closed the door I realised that I had left my keys inside the door lock.
So I was locked outside in a t-shirt, jogging bottoms and my slippers. Thankfully my neighbour let me stay at his until the locksmith turned up 2.5hrs later.
The locksmith took all of 2mins to open my front door which I was relieved about as I'd thought he would have had to drill the lock or something to gain access but there was no need for him to do that.
Grand total of a minute or 2 of work was £80 + £16 VAT. Good job I had £100 in the bank saved for emergencies.
I certainly won't be making such a costly mistake again.

Would have been cheaper to drill the lock and replace it yourself. Borrow the drill of a neighbor, or get a hammer and a screwdriver.

Doubtful on a modern lock. Unless you've got a tungsten carbide bit....
Just did a course on forced entry the other week but that was entry into other peoples houses (where you're generally not that arsed about how much damage you do).

I did the exact same thing as max a few years ago and just though fuck it so broke a window and climbed in..my neighbour called the cops thinking I was getting burgled and I nearly got arrested. (and cut my arm really badly on the glass). Luckily it was a council house and I gave them some bullshit that I had to be in for my meds and thus couldn't have waited for a locksmith and they replaced the window for free :)

Finally received the remainder of my repeat script - six days after it was due. Had it been any later, then I'd have been left without my full dose of medication for the weekend, which would put me in real danger of going sideways.

Can't complain too much though, as the lady at the pharmacy who lives opposite grabbed it as soon as it was dispensed, and was keeping an eye out for me when I returned from work yesterday. Relief.

a bit annoued that i have 10 days of alternating times when i have to do a shitload of small tasks and days with nothing to do. I feel in an annyoing place between very busy and not on holiday. cant do drugs and friends are at work.
Oh eell. I should better myself and learn a new language. Or read a book or smth

Make that new flat your home.Get to know it. And explore your new neighbourhood, community. Yes, books are good (hugs) x<3

Some utter, utter cunt stole my phone on Friday night after I laid it down for about 2 minutes near the nurses station in A&E. Had to go out Saturday morning and spend £250 that I could ill afford on a new one.....what a fucking twat!!

I was fucking gutted mate. Last job of the day, fucking shattered. Put it down for a minute forgot about it and when I come back it was gone. There were some right fucking to-rags in a&e at that time of night and I knew one of them had taken it but nowt I could have done to get it back...tried ringing it but it was on vibrate so no clue. I went down in the morning and got the sim and phone blocked so they won't be able to use it at all but it's probably in cash converters front window by now :(

Guess what I've gone and done? I've gone and let myself run out of scripted benzos. Barely slept last night. Zopiclone and pregabalin all day today.

Some prick woke me up with a text ;):p:D

Was a nice one though, so he's forgiven <3

I'm annoyed at myself for not learning the lesson that it's best not to stumble across somebody's online presence if you think you're used to their real personality.

Facebook, Twitter and the like just have a habit of making people look ugly, sycophantic and superficial, even when you know they're not. It's heartbreaking, but it's the way of the world, I guess. :|
