The Cigarette Thread

I know that this thread is about cigarettes but I was wondering if you guys knew about Dokha? the middle eastern smoking blend, Geeeh I can tell you these little bowls pack quite a punch and it takes man lungs to cash a hit. Basically it is a form of tobacco that yields an extremely high amount of nicotene, thus you smoke far less and it is far more satisfying, also there is a delightful buzz that comes along it and it comes in many varieties, strengths and flavours. Recently I've been using it to wean off ciggies. Ill have a bowl in the morning (they are literally the size of the end of your pinky finger) and it is far more satisfying than cigs as the buzz leaves you on your ass and the thought of having a smoke leaves you alone for at least half of the day haha.
Anyway normally I smoke Winnie Blues, if im feeling fancy Ill go for Dunhill Reds, and if stimulants are involved always icy blast menthols :D
 
I usually only smoke on Fridays and Saturdays-when I'm drinking or going out. Its always Champion Ruby with Ultra Slim filters. Over the last few months I have started rolling my cigarettes with 2 filters to reduce the amount of tobacco. There is barely any difference in taste/drag. The second filter/filter closest to your lips gets pretty dark and dirty looking.

Was tempted to buy an E-ciggie in when I was in the States a few months ago. They were only $50 for 2!!!

Met a guy recently who had an E-ciggie that took THC cartridges!!!
 
Anyone else noticed that there are no "rings" on smokes anymore?

Last month or so, there haven't been on all the decks I've bought...
 
^^^ I could be completely wrong but I had heard that the visable rings were magnesium which kept the cigarette alight. Now the cogarettes don't have those rings they go out if you aren't smoking them.

Champion Ruby doesn't taste the same.
The fact there are no logos/trademarks nor source allowed is suspect.
 
i'm smoking champion ruby rollies now and there's no difference to them compare to when they were in the yellow pouch. the mind is a powerful muscle, there's trickery about ;)
 
i dont smoke but if i did it would be champion ruby or camel rollies but i dont think camel even exists anymore so champion would be champion.
 
Every one should try Capstan, usually only available at Smokemarts. It's actually cheaper than most leading brands and a higher quality tobacco product, I didn't even like rollies til I found them and I had a period where I would turn down tailors at clubs and pubs etc because I knew I would enjoy dat Capstan so much more than any other inferior tobacco product.

Ever since I've noticed the change in taste (thanks all the same tentram) I've been thinking of heading into the city and checking out a tobacconist, I think I recall walking past one on Rundle Street.
Not sure how I'll like it, but I've always want to try smoking from a pipe with pipe tobacco.
 
champion ruby might cost that bit more but it sure as shit keeps the freshness about a longer than others and doesn't dry up and get all crisp and crumbly like winfield's for example. i can justify paying a little extra for it for a number of reasons. may as well catch the cancer smoking the "expensive shit" ;)

Cigarrettes and duty free tax

Hi, im currently overseas at the moment and i'm heading back to australia soon. One of the laws only allows me to bring at most 50 cigarettes of 50g of tobacco into australia any more and i have to declare it. i think this is pretty pathetic seeing as in australia cigarrettes are $15 a pack. i was wondering if anyone knew what is the tax price when you bring them back? or just some general advice on the situation.
