I wonder if people with stashes of MDPV just binge, gain tolerance, and then complain about their product "losing potency".

Nope I've had a tolerance that required 50mg as a dose, but never complained about the quality! ;)

BTW Storing a soln of MDPV in an airtight container keeps it good for fucking ages - that sort of implies that oxygen is the culprit

Few months you won't notice much loss in potency (mainly the 4-oh-DMT will break down, the 4-po-DMT will remain relatively stabile).

You can vacuum seal them and freeze them for long-term (1-2 years) storage.

I've had shrooms stored in a drawer in the past for 3-4 months and they were still good when I finally munched em.

How about if the were stored away in a ziplock, in a drawer for 6 months? Will they be no good?

I would expect they would have lost some potency, perhaps a lot, perhaps a little. But in the future, really, just get a glass jar. They're not hard to get or anything and a plastic bag is far from airtight. And get a packet of dessicant/silica gel to put in with them to absorb any moisture that does ghet in. And keeping them in the fridge or freezer, so long as you have a dessicant packet, is the best way to go. Bascially you need to keep them away from heat, light, moisture, and oxygen as much as possible.

vacuum seal would be ideal probably but i've always found that a few layers of tinfoil & saran wrap or sandwich baggies alternating works just fine as well

I had stored multiple doses of liquid 2ci in small plastic bottles (like lotion bottles)
they were .5mg/ml and the bottles contained 30 ml each.
I used a small amount of lemon juice cause I read that the PH helps the chemical and water combine.
so I had left them at a friends for a bit and when i came back they had... congealed almost.
there was cloudy junk floating around and small black dots in some, some had water that had many small flecks of black moldy looking stuff.
I strained one of the bottles and what was left was a big nasty looking clump of gooey, phelgumy looking stuff with small hard black dots in the middle.
some are not nearly as bad as others, but i was wondering what might have caused this and if its still okay for my dog to drink..

I would vote that you almost certainly nuked your 2C-I. If you had used something pure (powdered citric acid, muriatic acid, etc.) to adjust the pH of your water I think you'd have been okay, but using lemon juice (which also contains other things) I think you're probably fucked.

For future reference, water is already slightly acidic. You usually don't have to do much wrangling to get things to dissolve. A good first step is always to try using warm (but not hot or boiling) water, since solvent temperature affects solubility.

I'd say whatever is left in those vials won't be toxic, but I wouldn't hold my breath for it to be active. Unless anyone knows of any toxic reaction between 2C-PEAs and lemons (ha ha), why don't you take one for science and let us know what happens?

the best LSD storage tek i have heard of, is to get an appropriatly sized amber glass vial, some drierite and tin foil. wrap the L in foil so its 100% protected from UV light, then place it in the vial and fill it up with drierite, the foil also provides a barrier btw the dessicant and the blotter (so it dosent leech out any LSD containing moisture (a potentialy crazy concern)). freeze the vial and bet it will last as long as you. 100% light/moisture/heat protection, and very limited exposure to air which i suppose could be eliminated by the addition of nitrogen gas from a wine store, but that would be for super long term storage. =D

well, I strained the gelly goo out, drank it down.
definitely active.
possibly a slight loss of potency but overall I don't think there were any negative effects caused by the mold.
I still refuse to take the black looking ones though.

Congrats on that. Definitely a good call about avoiding the mold!

In the future you could also consider storing your RCs in a solution of alcohol (Everclear or Vodka works great). They'll typically go into solution easily, and it'll inhibit bacterial growth.

Yup, vodka or 96% alcohol should work great. Also (this is a respond to a few different posts) avoid dissolving your drugs in tapwater as tapwater easily become rotten or infected. If you have to use water then use demineralized water as this water is much lesser prone to degrading.
And regarding the mold: I suggest you throw it out. Imagine how horrible it would be to have a mold poisoning while tripping hard. It's simply not worth the risk IMO.

I've acquired a few hits of LSD on blotter paper, im hoping to store them until the end of November. I've wrapped them up tight in tin foil, and sealed them in a baggie, underneath some heavy papers, inside a box with a lid, stored at the back of the bottom of one of my draws.

Because of my current situation, i cant use the freezer or else i would :) I've stored other hits like this for upto 3-4 weeks and didnt notice any noticable drop in potency. But unfortunately it's coming into summer and the days are heating up a little more.. i imagine im probably going too probably lose some amount after keeping it there for a month and 1/2.

Has anyone else stored it with this method for this amount of time or longer? It's only the amount of time combined with the hotter days that concern me.. i never really store them beyond 3 weeks.. but because of certain circumstances i need to. I suppose i could take them sooner and try get more closer to the end of Nov.. but i cant guarantee myself anything lol.

Cheers ;)

Would there be anything wrong with using sterile saline solution as a carrier medium for LSD in liquid storage, i.e. for dilution of high-concentration solutions? Any better than DH2O? I have access to copious amounts of medical grade sterile saline with preservatives in it that are made for keeping (medical) drugs from degrading and it seems promising as a LSD medium but it would be an awful shame to hurt such a fragile molecule in experimentation.

Long term storage of LSD on blotter paper? I'm talking from now (late October) until an indefinite date, probably sometime around next April. Is this possible without losing a considerable amount of potency? I was thinking wrap it up good in tin foil, put in a small plastic container, keep in the freezer of my mini fridge and don't look at it at all in that time. Is that gonna do it? Is the freezer possibly too cold? Just the fridge part better or what?

EDIT

I'm keeping it stored for such a long time because 1) LSD is very rare for me 2) I'm not in the right state to take it, mental issues galore but I think abstaining from drugs for a few months will straighten me out, if not I'll pass on to a friend 3) Its winter coming up and that's not my tripping environment 4) I ain't ready for LSD again, yet, but with a few months of sobriety and good health and meditation I do believe I can prepare myself properly.
