I've found the perfect genre for music on K for me; psychedelic dub.

Androcell - Dub Gardens

Hypnotic, dreamy, beautiful.

Pitch Black - South of the Line (Bluetech's Electroid Excursion)

I can confirm that listening to Above & Beyond's Group Therapy Podcast in an M-hole is quite a euphoric revelation. Therapy is right! http://www.aboveandbeyond.nu/radio
Something about listening to uplifting trance in that state...
I can also back up Cyanide's claim that psydub is a perfect genre for dissociatives. I will add a list of my favorites when I get a chance.

I listened to this album on MXE the other day, and had a peak experience... I wrote a TR for it even. It seems to me to be absolutely made for dissociatives.

^^ Nothing Lasts.. But Nothing is Lost is my favourite album from Shpongle. I'm listening to it now as I just took MXE :)

This is great ambient for dissociatives. Carbon based Lifeforms really got me when I was holing.

Vortech: we share similar music taste.. you havent disappointed me once in this thread. I salute you.

A few lines of mxe, dark room, The Disco Biscuits jamming over a good speaker system. Perfection.

It's my favorite Shpongle album too. Utter perfection. What a genius that guy is. It's difficult to comprehend how someone could conceptualize such a psychedelic stream of music.

Yeah Simon Posford is really something..

Younger Brother belongs in this thread IMO!

Shpongle is a project that includes Simon Posford and Raja Ram :)

I don't know which one of them is the more talented musician, but Simon Posford has got my attention many times as Hallucinogen is his most famous work of art

Nine Inch Nails is practically all for a dissociative trip. The Orb and trippy shermed out rap is good too.

Never tried this but YES....great call! It would have to be and I will try this next time Allah blesses me with some Cat-Amine.

The song "The Becoming" is a VERY good track for LSD.

This MGS track could be good for dissociatives.

I loved the album Broken and some of his soundtrack work, but rarely listened to it on DXM back in those days. Might have to try it again, but generally I like instrumental stuff when gone.
However his record label Nothing did put out my favorite disso album of my young life: Autechre's Ep7.
