^Unfortunately I have yet to listen to it, I'm probably waiting till I have some drugs to listen to it on hah. I'm hoping to obtain some mxe this summer and test it out. I've been weighed down by final exams and essays for school lately though :( Only a week left lol

I've honestly never done any dissociatives save for an accidental dxm (apparently I'm allergic, 60mg had me feelin mighty disconnected from reality!) but I have done N20 and intend to again when I can. My interest in them stems from music like that of Stars of the Lid, ambient stuff like that. Your album seemed pretty ambient from the start, so it sounded like something I'd dig while outa my mind (or body lol).

I'll give yours a spin next time I am dissociated.

I'm just curious as to what people felt was Cold and Lifeless about the glitch mob album.
I for one, could not listen to Nine Inch Nails, at least older Nine Inch Nails because back in the days of early industrial.
It seems to me at least that, Trent Reznor was pretty effective at hating himself, and his older music would destroy me, in a way i wouldn't seek out.
It's like Listening to Skinny Puppy On LSD i imagine. Really fun, But fucking Scary.

Led Zeppelin, is too 70's for Ketamine... i mean that in a good way. You want to be Involved.
It's not Dissonant or as airy as Pink Floyd which i have tripped to before on one of the 3 times i have done ketamine.

The Glitch Mob, for me, and MXE the one time, i did it... there just weren't words. I was transported to an Ethereal Plain, with eyes open and eyes closed the plain was exactly the same.
It was like being in a desert scene and watching a giant praying mantis building the pyramids while conversing with angels in absolute harmony.
I was alone, and it was also my first time doing MXE
and i also have literally no prior experience with K, outside of 3 spelunks, in which i sought a K hole. so you would have to imagine that no matter what i was listening to at the pinaccle of that experience. it would probably have sounded god like. But too this day, The Glitch Mob, almost gives me MXE flash backs. I've never felt so empowered before in my life. Like a Dung Beetle finding the Shit, i had the whole world rolled up into a ball.

I feel that this album, to a person who is fully disassociated, it would be one hell of an epic journey.
it's a perfectly blend of complex beats, and airy orchestral triumph, Plus, the time i did LSD and listened to this album.
I was having sooo much fun inside of my head.

I listened to the Glitch Mob album sober and it seems like it could work very well on a high dose of ketamine. I suggest you try Air - Talkie Walkie as well.

As to the person who recommended NIN to anyone, he should be banned from this site immediately^^
Sorry man, I just can't believe you have ever listened to the RIGHT music on a dissociative. I used to be very fond of NIN and have seen 6 of their shows, but this is NOT music for a e.g. k hole. Maybe it's kinda cool on low dose dissociatives, IF you already like it anyway, but that's about fucking it.
And these kinds of posts are exactly why this thread isn't worth shit. It's that noise I'm talking about. A person is VERY VERY LUCKY to ever find anything that works as well as what Psychonautical has found for himself and it's exactly the kind of synergy that even justified the existence of this thread. I can only refer to that list of like 50 artists again that one person posted, that was fucking ridiculoud. Ok maybe, he has actually listened to that many artists on his dissociative trips because he's using them daily, but giving other people recommendations like that? Imho it's like telling others "I piss on you, listen to what I like and stfu!"

Just my opinion, giving music recommendations is a very careless activity for some. There should really be some respect and consideration for those you are talking to. Instead it's mostly promotion of your own tastes and brain farts.

HAVE you been fully dissociated to this albumo or are just (excuse the language) talking out of your ass? No matter how good the music is, how can you go and do this, if you haven't even tried it?!?! I know music I absolutely adore on DMT (Dead Can Dance mostly), but I'd personally never try to listen to them on a dissociative. In fact, I haven't found any music that works very well both on psychedelics and on dissociatives.

I already said i've done LSD to that album. NOT Disassociatives. But If people are mentioning Led Zeppelin and other forms of Ethereal space rock.
I feel from my Understanding of drug use that there is nothing threatening about it. No more than the glitch mob album.

I mean i know people who do MDMA and Ketamine and go to See Excision. That to me like would be stepping into a Meat Grinder of Mercy.
So, No i'm not talking out of my ass.
I have listened to that Woodkid album on around 600mics of LSD and enjoyed every moment of my life for it's entire duration.
I feel it's thematic quality would blend very well with a disassociative state mostly due to it's triumphant quality and it's blissful moments.
So this is me from the outside looking at some of the other bands and things i've seen on here, and then choosing something from my catalog which i feel melds with topic
of GOOD Music to do to disassociatives.

^Dude, it's so nice to see some non-electronic music in here. Thanks for your contributions to society!

A bluelighter recommended this in an old mxe thread, I tried it and it certainly worked for m-holing <3

^MGS, do you make all that music yourself? It's pretty psychedelic stuff, very impressive if it's your own creation.

Have you released it for download or purchase? Do you have more?

Ah shucks. That's all my music (well, a few covers on that EP), me and a buddy who plays some lead guitar and sings two of the tracks. Makes my day you took an interest, thanks for listening!
