I'm just curious as to what people felt was Cold and Lifeless about the glitch mob album.
I for one, could not listen to Nine Inch Nails, at least older Nine Inch Nails because back in the days of early industrial.
It seems to me at least that, Trent Reznor was pretty effective at hating himself, and his older music would destroy me, in a way i wouldn't seek out.
It's like Listening to Skinny Puppy On LSD i imagine. Really fun, But fucking Scary.
Led Zeppelin, is too 70's for Ketamine... i mean that in a good way. You want to be Involved.
It's not Dissonant or as airy as Pink Floyd which i have tripped to before on one of the 3 times i have done ketamine.
The Glitch Mob, for me, and MXE the one time, i did it... there just weren't words. I was transported to an Ethereal Plain, with eyes open and eyes closed the plain was exactly the same.
It was like being in a desert scene and watching a giant praying mantis building the pyramids while conversing with angels in absolute harmony.
I was alone, and it was also my first time doing MXE
and i also have literally no prior experience with K, outside of 3 spelunks, in which i sought a K hole. so you would have to imagine that no matter what i was listening to at the pinaccle of that experience. it would probably have sounded god like. But too this day, The Glitch Mob, almost gives me MXE flash backs. I've never felt so empowered before in my life. Like a Dung Beetle finding the Shit, i had the whole world rolled up into a ball.
