Yeah, for sure. The come up just is just too abrupt for me and once I start to enjoy it, the experience begins to fade away. Whereas miprocin is more of a full spectrum psychedelic and relatively easy to handle.
So Shulgin proposed that there is a pharmacological significance to the asymmetrical substitutions made on the amine in drugs like 4-HO-MET and 4-HO-MiPT. I'm not entirely certain how that works, but it's kind of interesting and I wonder if he was onto something since after all, besides him being a brilliant at biochemistry, that also checks out in my book, save for the fact that I'm a HUGE fan of DMT and that has symmetry on its nitrogen/amine (NH₃).
Smoking DMT with Moxy should result in synergy, although I have the best results when I smoke DMT while tripping LSD. Holy shit, that puts me into deep hyperspace. I'm pretty sure I've smoked DMT near the end of a Moxy experience; it's just unlikely that I haven't since I've used both drugs frequently during spells over the years. But otherwise, Moxy pairs nicely with MDx-class drugs, GHB (but with some diminished Moxy activity), cannabis if you smoke regularly, and bumps of K or a similar dissociative. LSD goes well with it, but I generally avoid mixing a phenethylamine (like Mescaline or 2C-B) with a tryptamine like Moxy, Colour, or Shrooms. It brings about too much anxiety in me without enough payoff to make it worth it like LSD does.
You're gonna love 2C-I; it's so highly visual and beautiful. I've read nothing but good things about 2C-EF, too, so you're probably in for a real treat despite the high price tags…Meanwhile you're ducking and dodging mamadukes? That's touuuuugh, my G. You ever think about pulling a move whereby you do your extractions right under her nose and feed her a long story about how you're using it as a natural dye (and of course you'll need to dye a few things with this, maybe take up tie-dye t-shirt making as a hobby (I hear it's fun)). Another options would be to get into soap and/or candle making, which is another reason for having these things.
And having a sep funnel is nice, but unneeded. Outside of that, extracting DMT doesn't require any special organic chemistry lab equipment. I guess it just depends on what's at stake, how mad your mom would be if she discovered the truth, and whether you think she'd believe the subterfuge if you attempted it.
