By FAR the most disgusting chemical I've ever put in my mouth... was like vinegar and acid...

And god damn this shit sticks to the bag like no other... took me FOREVER to get the powder into the tray for my scale and then the powder stuck to that so I just dumped the water in and drank it. 14-16mg.

Yep it does taste HORRIBLE.. But it's worth it :)
 
Does yours exhibit the same behavior with sticking to EVERYTHING?

And for the record, 4-HO-MET was kind of sweet... Not just in flavor but its effects. Totally wild.
 
Wow. I've never had an AcO slam into me like a freight train before. They usually have to build and build and build... The euphoria is intense... almost paralyzing and this is a LOT more visual than my 8mg 4-HO-MET...
 
I don't mind it's taste lol. I've grown used to it, so much so that licking the bag clean, licking tin foil clean etc is all no problem. To me, although the bitter metallic taste is pretty bad, it's no where near as bad as idk chewing on tin foil (not suggested.)

And yeah, it really does stick to the bag and the side of glasses if you're not very careful when dropping the powder in lol.
 
IMO ~15mg insufflated is the most interesting use of Psilacetin. 3 hours of intense tripping and you can easily sleep at the 4 hour mark. As for ingesting it I'd never start with less then 30 mg. If that's too much for you then I'd suggest you stick with good old fashioned mushrooms. IMO the only reason to move to Psilacetin over the natural is that you can get the higher concentration and therefore the more intense yet shorter trip.

You have it the exact opposite IMO. I'll eat 10 g's of shrooms right now but you'd have to give me a minute to think about taking over 50 mgs of 4-AcO-DMT. I don't know why I react so oddly to the 4 subs but I do. AcO even lasts longer for me.

I totally like the taste of 4-AcO-DMT actually. I mean, as far as alkaloids go. It's pretty intese but it;s an interesting experience. I don;t know, a while ago I just started seeing taste as just another experience... the only thing that makes it bad is me saying it's bad. I mean taste really doesn't bother me at all anymore, except a few chemicals I've tried (like 4-HO-DiPT 8o). And I agree that 2C-B and 2C-E are pretty nice in low concentrations, and totally bearable with an interesting aftertaste at full doses. 2C-I is a little nasty though if I recall. Haven't had it for years now though.

your experience is not the norm.
Most people find very little difference in dosage between snorting and eating this. And oral seems to be the preferred method.

Also mushrooms tend to be much darker and more serious than 4 aco dmt, so i dont think they are a good place to go if this was too much for you.

Also getting a big concentrated dose of mushrooms is easy.
Just make a really potent cup of tea (for me thats 3.5g, for others it may be more), let it cool off a bit and then chug the whole thing.
You'll be tripping in 15 minutes, very hard.
 
so whats the consensus of comparative dose with shrooms? i've read a few numbers, would you all agree that 15mg=3.5g? I know this has variable non-specific answers but just curious.

And can anyone give a good comparison to 4-ho-mipt (which I found to be exactly like shrooms but less side effects and slightly longer lasting)...

I'm also curious about 4-ho-met... (such wonderful new goodies as i've been gone from the scene a bit!) i'm reading up on it but whats you guys' preferences?
 
Personally I would say 15 mg is more like 2.5 grams or so of cubensis. The highest dose I've taken of 4-aco was 23 mg which I found to be about the same as an eighth of mushrooms. Of course it's hard to really say since potency in mushrooms varies so much and YMMV with either depending on personal chemistry, set/setting, etc
 
i get very different effects from this one depending on my tolerance. I did some low dose tests early in the week as I had a new batch, then took 25mg on saturday night. Saturday it had a almost empathogenic/entactogenic quality. I'd experienced a similar effect when taking it in combo with MDAI, but chalked that up to the MDAI. I'd also experienced somewhat similar effects when I had some over a year ago, but thought it was probably a result of me taking too many things too close together regularly. When I haven't tripped in a couple weeks & take it, its very shroomy & visual. When i have tripped recently i get these nice feeling head rushes, great body feel & mild, un-tryptamine like visuals. My highest low dose test in the recent batch was 10mg. I got exactly what I thought would happen. When I took 25mg (my standard dose for this chem) 5 days later, totally different effects. Anyone else experience something similar?

For me I think that is because I'm normally fairly detached from my emotions and 4-aco-dmt makes my emotional responses increase exponentially in intensity, combine that with the confusion and things can take a dark turn very easily. My more recent trips with it have been relatively low dose, and in the accompaniment of weed or a dissociative, which both tend to help me with any problems (especially the dissociatives).

At the same time, I find it a very valuable learning tool, and have probably had more profound realizations from it than any of the 2c-x's, which I tend to get along with very well.

I'm not a big fan of mixing Dissociatives and Psyches as I find it gives me a horrible trip nearly every time - way too much head fuckery which i HATE haha. Although I did try mixing it with K though and it did help a bit tbh.

I also tried mixing the 4-AcO with MDMA, Meph, Methylone, GBL, Benzos and Opiates (not all at once ;)) and the only thing that stopped me getting the fear was Opiates although it pretty much killed the trip :\ I guess it's not for me... luckily I have a friend who loves it so I'll give the rest to him :)
 
any major dude: maybe not as dramatically as you but yes, I've noticed that with tolerance and at lower doses, it gets a lot less 'trippy' and the euphoria, body high and mild distortion visuals are the main noticeable effects. I've noticed this to a lesser extent with other psychedelics, but for others it's much more subtle and the peak just seems muted; with 4-aco it feels like a different experience.

Sorry that opiates and 4-aco didn't work out for you, PTJ. I find that a low dose of hydrocodone and a moderate dose of 4-aco is a lovely combo, intensifying the visuals and body high while keeping me in a calm, happy mood. It makes me even lazier than either drug on its own would do, though; it's definitely more suited to tripping at home with some music as opposed to in a social setting, out in nature, etc. I've tried this combo twice and both times I spent the majority of the trip sitting still, grinning wildly and soaking in all the awesomeness.

Damn... I wish I had some 4-aco handy right about now that I could OM NOM NOM.
 
Ok, I tried this a while ago.. 10mg and it was very nice... music was greatly enhanced, very euphoric, nice cev for about an hour or so, then a slow plateau-comedown.. very gentle enjoyable experience.

Three days later I took 15mg, and it was not nearly as good as my first time... it felt about 1/2 to 3/4 as potent.

I then waited one week and took 17 mg and it was nice.. seeing the xmas like jeweled cevs and a hint of the same overlaid over my open eye vision. Slight morphing of visual field, hallucinated voices mixed in with the music I was listening to. It felt a bit more intense than my first time but still very easy on body and ego. Not really any psychedelic thinking or spiritual power coming through at this level.

I'll next go 20 or 25mg maybe next weekend, not before. Tolerance seems to be a big factor with this one.

I will also try mixing 4-aco-dmt with 5-meo-dalt at some point too. I think it might be an interesting combo. I wonder what receptors the 5-meo-dalt work on (?) since there is next to no mindfuk or visuals, just an orgasmic body high.
