The AusDD mods support this change unanimously. We understand that there are valid reasons for and against the change but we feel that at this point it is the right decision. As d_m has said, it shouldn't really be a big change - we will make it clear what we are doing and make it easy to get to the new thread from here :)
 
I don't mean to be pedantic, because the tone of this thread is not what I intended it to be. However..

I have gone back and looked at 23 posts above mine and all I see are jokes. The 24th post above mine is a moderator whom I respect, who you could argue is supporting this change.

Just do what you have to do, I meant no disrespect with any of my posts. Maybe they came across wrong, but tone is difficult to portray in a text message.

All I was doing was speaking my mind, which I hope both posters and moderators of this board don't have a problem with. Otherwise, I'd rather not be a regular visitor.

I am australian, so effectively I called myself elitist and lazy also.

I did not realise that because I had a modstick I had to hold my opinion to myself and be all rainbows and kittens all the time.
 
I didn't say that you did, however there seems to be a divide in this thread between moderators and posters, I am out of this discussion.
 
I should have checked back in to this thread... just backing up drug mentor here that this isn't just a decision one mod is taking, we have discussed it and agreed on it. I will also point out that we believed we had the support of poledriver in this decision, now that doesn't appear to be the case.

Also I thought my Myspace joke was funny, whoever removed that. ;)
 
I would like to mention also that i am a BDD moderator and had NO idea of the move or input in it, only found out from reading this thread like you guys.

Moderator or BL'er status aside I think the move is justifiable and makes sense.
 
OK after lengthy discussion we have decided to leave the busts thread in AusDD, the initial decision was made while under the impression that certain people were on board and now that they aren't it seems best and easiest just to leave the thread here for the time being, especially given the fairly strong opposition to the change by the general posters which has been voiced in this thread.

I apologize for the pointless mess this ordeal has turned out to be, hopefully things can go back to normal now.

As was already said in this thread, the decision was made by all the mods of AusDD based on the knowledge that we would have poledriver's support in doing this. As that's no longer the case, and there has been so much opposition voiced in here, we've decided to cancel that move. We would have preferred to announce the decision and started discussion on it in a different way, but our hands were forced.

DM, you have no need to apologize. :)
