STARSCAPE June 8th, Baltimore MD

I dunno how far everyone is on making plans...but it would be badass if someone had room for one more :) Also...I called the hotel...they said that the rate was 109 per night. Where is everyone else checking at? Oh well.

Well, the people I'm supposed to be rooming with have decided to only get a room for Saturday night... so now I need a place to stay Friday and possibly Sunday. Anyone out there need someone to share the bill? Let me know thru e-mail or IM.

just had to order my damn ticket, since the ticketmasters here in RI, DONT FUCKING SELL THEM!!!! RI always gets the shaft, whats the deal here? anyway tix on the way, theres no turning back now.
now, on another note, since i only know like 4 other bl'ers that are going, id like to meet all you crackers. so, to those that have been to this event before lets all set up a "gathering" time and place at the event.

Well, of course i am now definitely going, just gotta go get my ticket. Also, HAVE TO convince one more person that was supposed to go with us, that they HAVE to go and have NO choice. yeah cool...
 
Last year we all met at the hotel hours beforehand and got to meet everyone. And I might add, we did so right in front of the hotel and no one gave us any problems, which was really cool. Since most of us are apparently staying in either the Marriott or the Holiday Inn, we'll probably be travelling as one huge group again... and the Holiday Inn is closer to the venue (and more of us are staying there so far)... so why don't we propose a meetup at the Holiday Inn a few hours before the event? That gives everyone a chance to settle in and whatnot.
We can meet out front again, if no one sees any problems with that.
 
well, a meetup before the party would be cool, but i dont think talk of it on the board is cool, cause of what happened last october at BR2, i talked to a few other mods last night and talk of meetups AT actual events and parties is ok, thats why i asked if anyone knows the venu and what would be a good spot. as for a meetup beforehand, we should keep that to emails and aim

Okay, why don't we just meet where we met last year. When you walk in past the security checkpoint, stay to the right side of the long fence. When the fence ends, turn right and there you'll be. Meet where the asterisks are. Is this good for everyone? It seemed to work last year pretty well.

^^^ i agree. the 'grassy knoll(sp?)' was a perfect meet up spot last year.
as far as meeting at hotels and shit... maybe these plans should be kept more secretive and discussed via email/im. i mean... given the whole fiasco in FL, i don't want any of our exact plans outside of the party to be made too public. i'm not being paranoid, i just want us to all be safe :)
