Oh and I can't believe we were talking about Kurosawa earlier, and no-one mentioned Rashamon. Also one of the greatest films of all time.
 
Wild Bunch does require effort that many people in todays Michael SATAN Bay era aren't willing to put in, I think The Getaway is the best place to start for newcomers.
I have to really admit to being pissed off when American films are in English when they are set elsewhere, for instance I remember watching The Last Emperor in about 1994 and not one fucker was speaking chinese or tibetan,all fucking in English.
And Schindlers list...REALLY pissed me off the first time with people almost getting to the level of ello,ello type accents...fucking cunts.
 
i think if it is an american film set elsewhere then they should speak english but with a german accent or whatever (however bad the accent may be). they shouldn't speak german tho, it would be a bit fucking stupid to make a film in a different language from your target audience, essentially reducing your audience. it's basically making a film that 90% of the people the film is intended for are not going to understand the actors.
 
No they should just stop been cunts and every film should be in the language of its respective nation, if they want to make it in US then fine, but if they go all hardcore and make a film in Laos then it should have people speaking Laotian,not speaking laotian when its not important and then suddenly speaking in English to the camera.
I hate Spielberg anyway so all his films can fuck off.

aye but they don't have to speak in an american "valley girl" accent. they can just speak english but in a middle east type accent. i know it's not completely authentic n shit but it makes the film so much more accessible to people. that films meant to be fucking terrible btw so it's no a very good example to prove your point

Alternatively someone else can explain if it really is bad to the bone or if its so bad its good. I keep meaning to watch House of the dead but theres too many things bad about it.
