official NHL 06-07 thread! (free agent signings updated on page 11)

i said it once before (but i dont remember if it was on bluelight or not), but i'd like to see buffalo beat nyi, THOUGH, i wouldnt be completely disappointed to see NYI win JUST so that ryan smyth can throw it in the face of kevin lowe. as soon as he was dumped away, the oilers tanked, now the islanders squeeze into the playoffs, it'd be nice to see new york win for that reason alone. other than that, go buffalo indeed!!!
 
faris: No, I didn't get the tickets for the game tonight. I had a few other things I needed to do. I can get tickets to any home games though (Thrashers, Braves, or Hawks). You live in the area?
 
btw... dont get me wrong, i LOVE bluelight and i post here still after 6 years, but to all you hockey fans... theres another site i post on (as the_undead) thats good for fans of hockey. some good knowledgable people on there, though its still building, we could use all the people we can get, so if you or anyone you know are interested, please look into it... www.forumice.com

this might be better suited for PM, but yeah...i live in alpharetta! when is the next home game, like the 20th or 22nd, right? providing we FORCE another home game.....the wind's been taken out of my sails and i'm not very optimistic anymore. :(
 
Great win last night for the Sharks to put the series at 2-1. If not for Vokoun, they'd have gotten beat way worse than 3-1. Fun, solid win at home for the Sharks. Hopefully they get another on Wednesday and end this series in Nashville.
 
flames vs. wings last night was a hell of a game. Phaneuf got hit so hard that he wondered back into the play like he didn't know where, or who he was, then he just kinda of fell down. the fire alarm even went off for a couple minutes in the 3rd, and no one moved, lol.
 
who were those IMPOSTERS last night that kidnapped my thrashers???? aaaaaaaaarrrrrrgggggggggg how fucking EMBARRASSING. 7-0????? :X :X :X

also, it was good to see minnesota step it up last night, im excited for game 5, i think they got the train moving and its interesting to see what they do now. wish i would have seen that hit on phaneuf though, hes such a good player, but SO dirty, it'd have been nice to see him put off like that!

^ I agree, but shit he plays hard. I swear, he touches the puck more than anyone I've ever watched. Too bad he wasn't more skilled. I don't know if I've ever seen a player work their ass off harder than Avery. And he sure did help out the Rangers since showing up. I remember hearing he had like 20 points in 29 games and was +11?!? Damn. But yeah, he's still an annoying fucker.
 
Big time SABRES fan=D , they better get there shit together, or they'll be WATCHING, the rest of the stanley cup playoffs:X
 
as much as i hate sean avery i will agree he DOES work hard. he really isnt too bad in the skill department either, he's kind of like ryan smyth, though not quite THAT good. smyth has the edge on skill in my opinion. both grinders, but avery is lacking a little. skilled none the less. thats why he's in the NHL and im not. ;)
