The leafs vs habs game last night was awesome. Lots of scoring, and a great hard fought game to watch.
 
I'm leaving in 30 minutes to get shitty drunk and hit up the Thrashers game. I got some amazing seats. Fucking GO BIRDS.
 
I've been concentrating mostly on the Lightning game (which IS good) but the Isles/Sabres game is really awesome!

Very fast pace and the crowd (in Buffalo) is going nuts!
 
Ok guys, I'm sorry but the matchups in the east are sub-par at best. The western conference games have really been adding up as kick as so far! The Detroit game is a total blowout and Calgary looks like shit. boring. The Islanders/Buffalo game is so boring and slow. Same thing with the Rangers/Atlanta game.

The Sharks Predators game was pretty wild and high scoring. The Ducks game was great, as well as the fucking crazy 4 OT Vancouver game!
 
i dont know how you can say the NYR and atlanta game is boring. this game is boiling over the top. lots of good hits, some jawing, and a score of 4-3. this is one of the better games so far. though i agree, that nashville/san jose game last night was really good!
 
So far the playoffs have been awesome! There has been only 2 blow out games and the rest were really close and really fun to watch. Nothing beats playoff hockey. My team won last night. It was only 1 game but its one baby step closer to the cup. :) The Dallas and Nucks game was crazy! Game took forever but I enjoyed every min. of it. Didnt catch the Shark game but it sucks for Chee Choo. That series is going to be a long one. Peace out everyone and goodluck to your teams that are chasing for the cup.
 
Phillips Arena went fucking nuts tonight. The energy was crazy. The end of that game was intense. I went up to my company's box suite, stole all the beer, and spent most of the game behind the Rangers' goal. If Atlanta would have played the whole game the way they played the last period, they would have dominated. No doubt about it. What I saw in the 3rd was what I hope to see in the upcoming Thrashers games. I'll be at the rest of the home games for sure. Blah...win or loose, I'm still wasted. =D
 
too bad they didnt win, it was a good game though! i actually didnt think they played too bad for a majority of the game. the thing that sucked though was that every time they stepped it up the rangers plunged a dagger in their hearts. the ending was REAL intense! glad to hear you had a good time, i picked the rangers to win this series, but im still cheering for atlanta. :)
 
Good for the Rangers to win their first playoff game since 1997. Damn that's a long time. I hope to see some more great hockey tonight, with the Ducks Wild game, the Vancouver Dallas game, and the Sharks Preds game. God dammit if that MRI comes back on Cheechoo and he's out for the playoffs I'm going to be SO pissed.

im keepin my fingers crossed for cheechoo... i like him alot, plus i HATE the preds and i really dont want to see them with any sort of advantage whatsoever. cheechoo's picked his game up significantly at the end of the season, and this would be a TERRIBLE time to end it.
 
Oh thank god he's playing in the game. Fuck 2-1 Preds after one though.

And holy hell the Nashville announcers are some of the worst announcers I've ever listened to. They know NOTHING about hockey, how the game is played, or penalty calls and sit there jocking Tootoo's nuts the entire time. I really really hope that this is the last game this season I'll have to listen to these morons.

After the knee-to-knee hit on Cheechoo in game one, they said, "Well i dont think it was intentional, because no hockey player wants to go knee-to-knee with another player. There's too much danger of both players getting hurt."

-Ok fine, you don't think it was intentional, that's fine, you're a Predators fan. But to say that the person delivering the knee-to-knee hit is just as likely of getting hurt as the person recieving the knee is absolutely preposturous. If you're giving a hit, your leg is locked and bent and you are prepared for it. I've been playing hockey for most of my life, and anyone who's ever played hockey knows this. I've taken (and given :)) my fair share of knee-to-knee hits. They should just keep their thoughts to themselves and stick to telling everyone facts and stats, not their own deluded opinions. Ok, sorry for the rant, I hope there's some great hockey tonight. =D
 
^^ man i don't know how you can say the atl/ny game was slow.....that was one of the most consistently intense fast-paced games i've seen in a while. granted i didn't watch any of the west coast games but still.....man i would've loved to have been there.

speaking of which.....synto...got any more tickets? say....to the game tomorrow? ;)

^ i agree. that game was great. fast paced, hard hitting, goals galore, lots of scoring chances, some good saves. that game had just about everything you ask for in a hockey game.
 
went to the wings game two nights ago. they were up two nothing before i even got there. good to see datsyuk finally score in the play-offs. the game itself was kinda boring but it was fun getting all wasted and talking shit to these two people wearing calgary jerseys right behind us.
 
haha niiiiiice. i HATE calgary. dion phaneuf plays like a fucking dirty asshole. he's good, dont get me wrong, but thats only when he actually PLAYS instead of runnin around tryin to run everyone. he's a piece of shit. oh yeah and huselius should be in the olympics for diving.

devils and tampa bay are tied right now at the end of 1.
