Best visuals I ever had was on a full dose 500+ of acid and about 3 grams of shrooms that I took about an hour into the acid trip, the combo of effects was stunning, not just shivvery outlines and nice colours but the walls were just crawling with alien motifs for hours, I just lay there astounded at the art it was showing me - highly recommended.
 
Does anyone know where one would 'theoretically' find mushies in Brisbane... (possibly kelvin grove area but, I can hunt other places) and does 2.5g sound like a good starting dose to jump into the world of hallucionogens?
 
Depending on the type of mushrooms you get will determine the starting dose.

2g of Cubes would be a decent starting dose without going too deep into your psyche.

And an area to 'theoretically' find them would be around cows.

Also I was meant to go out today, friend got flooded in and so did I. Ah well, doubt there'd be many out there in this.

wish w.a had mushrooms to pick in the summer, this waiting is killing me...c'mon WINTER!!
 
Any chance of shrooms in or around Brisbane are gonna be none now. Gonna have to get off my ass and go for a pic next week me thinks. Been to long. I have a very reliable spot. It's a bit out of my way but I know for sure that once this flooding fucks off it's gonna be primo.

That would be something I would love to try. 500+ ugs is fun on its own. That's where I loose full ego. Done it twice, can't afford to do it to often.

Going up to the Blue Mountains, Sydney tomorrow to try find myself some P. subs, slippery jacks, milk caps and A. muscarias. Haven't been mushroom hunting solo yet but after all this rain I'm pretty optimistic. Anyone have any tips for me?

Good to think of it like that :) And yeah, I was going to go out hunting today but got flooded in like you :(
 
I am going to find some shrooms this year. I have never hunted before but I will figure it out as I go (doing proper research before I do anything else). Never had shrooms before but had a number of good trips 15+ years ago. Biggest issue I have is that I don't know anyone who would go with me :(. Since I use drugs in isolation I spose it won't be much different to dropping a few good pills danger wise?
 
I think there is higher risk when dropping a few good pills.
But there is even greater risk if you pick and consume the wrong fungi.
You can do your research, but it will still be hard for you to confidently identify the correct species if you have no picking experience.
I would seriously consider waiting until you find a knowledgeable picking partner to show you the ropes.
I remember doing a lot of research prior to my first pick. But until my experienced friend showed me what subs look like in the wild, I really had no idea what I was looking for.. There are so many look alike species, I think its pretty crucial to have a guide.
 
I ran across some teens picking mushrooms in a patch today. Don't know if they're Bluelighters or not, but it made me want to remind people about discretion and most of all getting permission to be on private property. It might seem unimportant, but I know for a fact that a guy called the police on the teens I saw.
