She has relapsed and used about once a year since then but has not become a regular user again.
I wouldn't really consider it a ''relapse'' if she's managing to keep it to once a year and within reasonable limits. Not having a go at you personally, but I hate how much this whole culture of 12 step and abstinence ideology has overcome the drug using population. If she's getting high twice a year and it's otherwise causing no problems, I wouldn't say she's ''relapsed,'' just gone back to casual use. It happens.
Not so much true mate. Meth maybe meth but sore and meth are 2 different types of amphet.
I believe that the white powdery speed poledriver is referring to is amphetamine sulphate which is a white powder that looks similar to coke and is snorted, eaten or injected.
Methamphetamine is more potent and in crystal or liquid (base) form. Which is eaten, snorted, injected or plugged or whatever
Amphetamine sulphate isn't common in Australia, in fact it's pretty rare. 9/10 when you buy "speed" that's powdery in aus it's cut to shit with glucose or paracetamol or some powder methamphetamine. Since poledriver is a seasoned vet I presume he would be talking about amphet sulphate. I'm pretty sure years and years back it was available in Australia more than now.
I know I used to get it back in the early 2000s. I prefer sulphate to meth, I find it to be cleaner and doesn't last for ages like meth does.
I don't know about a decade ago, but I know a study in the last year or two showed that literally all the ''speed'' seized by the cops in the country is actually methamphetamine. I've tried the white powdery stuff (my mate in Sydney called it 'gas,' doesn't seem to exist here in SA) and it felt just like meth to me. Dipped my finger in a bag with a gram or two at a festival and washed it down, gave a nice buzz for for the day.
