[melb] Wine & Cheese appreciation picnic - 3rd Jan - Botanical Gardens

Didn't realise this had become so big. Well I have got work off, hopefully from the 1st to the 3rd, and will definitely be in attendence. Gonna swing by the markets the morning of the second, get food and wine.

If peeps want me to buy food or wine for them, can they get money to me beforehand preferably. Just PM me and we can work something out. And no, I guess i dont expect people to eat that much. And if they puke at least we can always say that they're lactose intolerant and ate too much cheeese. Hehehe


Oh, I reckon we should go for the nice hill near the water near gate D. See the map below.

I'm going to try hard for this one.

Just as long as at least one stoic solitary neurone is still functioning enough to get the rest of my body there, i shall be in attendance :)
 
^^ In the absence of usable motor function, I'll see what I can do about arranging a wheelbarrow to haul you down there. ;)

I think this is something you need to be in attendance for. I'll even bring my camera so we can prove to our brains at a later date that we were actually there.

This is shaping up to be the single biggest BL event I've ever been witness to, and so many A-list celebreties! =D

Perfect location potato.
For those unaware, thats the far corner of the Gardens, best way to get there if you're not driving is to Tram it to the Domain Interchange, then walk up the rest of the way. From there, it's a leisurely 5-10min stroll to gate D
 
I know, I know... it's been ages.

We've gotta come down so I can show the missus around and get her used to the place... i've still got plans to move down, but I think I want to hang around Canberra for a bit, build up a bit of a techno scene, and then head down..

but yeah, we'll definately try to be here :D

It's also about 5-10 min walk from my front door yeah?
 
^^ and about a 15 minute walk from my work so as long as you lot are still alive at 5, I'll see you there.

^i think it's Cohaagen, not Copenhagen ;)
(and last i knew he was a loooong way overseas!)

Muzby will be unable to find his way out of Bondi Junction, forget about him. He doesn't eat or drink anyways; he subsists by osmosis.


p.s. Who's driving my wheelbarrow? And will it have room for Pop aswell??
 
Hmm, I could recommend a good wheelbarrow, it even has brakes for tight corners, or for applying and dumping the people in said wheelbarrow unto the lawn upon arrival.

P.S. A reminder for people to bring garbage bags to clean up after ourselves, the botanical gardens are a beautiful place and need to stay that way, so any litter needs to be binned or taken out with you.

P.P.S. As for the human trash, you are allowed through a loop hole, provided you don't stay there for weeks on end scaring the bats and other wildlife.
