[melb] Wine & Cheese appreciation picnic - 3rd Jan - Botanical Gardens

can some lovely melbourne resident inform me if the vic markets and or botanical gardens are near brunswick st?

that's where kat, nickyj, ozbreaker and zephyr and i are all staying.

edit: and it is the royal botanic gardens yeah? i tried to look on a map and there are a million million gardens.

so queen vic markets, and then to the royal botanic gardens?

i think the markets are heaps closer to our hotel.

ai ai ai, i'm not so good with maps :)

They are all pretty easy to travel between by tram.

(C) Botanical Gardens, bottom left

The logistics of getting around on the day, I'm sure we can help you sort out, but this shows vaugely where you're going. :)

heheh, last time i was wearing pants without pockets, so my phone was left abandoned in my room where messages were not viewed until the next day when the insanity had ended. Sorry 'bout that quiet roar, it really did suck.
 
Don't be silly, pal, it was no big deal at all. If anything I should have gotten your address earlier because it was always going to be a risk getting in touch on the night.

I find it hillarious that this event is based around wine and cheese when a majority of people who actually make it [or are making promises that they will] will most likely not feel like putting anything in their poor beaten up, dry roofed mouths. Cheese and crackers are a little harsh when you've had no sleep. :\.

I have to move back to be penciled in, I start my new job on this day, so I wont be completely sure what the deal is with me.
