[melb] Wine & Cheese appreciation picnic - 3rd Jan - Botanical Gardens

I am totally going to try and get to this. I've been meaning to get to a Bluelight meetup for ages, it's just, all the previous ones happened at events where I 'forgot' about it...
All I've got to do is work it all out. I have three separate events to attend in three days, each spread out over 100km, and each attended by completely different people. It's beginning to look like public transport will be my saviour. Who'd have thought it!
 
From my experience, if lost don't call Butros for directions.

Unless you wanto start at Gate D and end up all the way at Gate F... bastard.

This is shaping up to be huge - Blossom you'd better be there!

^^^Oh boo. Well then again, I guess you have a good reason. So excited, I got my union gift for being delegate today, it's a wine carrier, it's all sleek and shit.
 
oh yay! butros you just reminded me i have a really compact cheese picnic thingy which has a little cutting board, cheese knife and cutlery! i've always wanted to use it! perfect opportunity! :)

i hope they let me on the plane with it though :\

Well since this has become sooo popular must be in attendace!!! even at my prime age of 18 I love cheese!! my tastebuds have yet to mature enough to enjoy wine but a nice cold beer could surely do the job:D

Ok, his is looking to be potentially one of the biggest BL meetups in a long time. It is also being held IN PUBLIC, AND I have posted a map with directions to said public place on this forum. So, please dont take stupid risks. If ever there were A BL meetup that's likely to get raided, it's be this one.

I'm not saying I think it will, just everyone keep in mind this is a Wine and Cheese picnic, in public, ie. dont bring illicits if you dont want to risk going to jail.

Thank you, glad I could get that off my chest cos it's been niggling me for a few days.

Hope I haven't spoiled the fun :(

I have bocce! In fact, Dale and I are Bocce Champions Of the World (well, more him, not me). I dare you all to take us on =D

Oh and I don't know who implied illicts *looks around* but I always intended to just have a sip of chardonnay and a nibble of cheese and sit prettily on the lawn arranging my skirts so they don't show my ankles *bats eyelashes*.:p
