If you can afford it, give supplements a try, I'll tell you what I take for general health,well-being and depression:
* Solgar's NeuroNutrient - X2 before breakfast
(L-Phenylalanine 167 mg
L-Tyrosine 167 mg
L-Glutamine 167 mg
Vitamin C 100 mg
Choline (bitartrate) 41 mg
Soy lecithin 33.3 mg
Vitamin B-1 5 mg
Vitamin B-2 5 mg
Vitamin B-3 5 mg
Pyridoxal-5-Phosphate (coenzyme form of vitamin B-6) 2.5 mg
Ginkgo biloba 50:1 6.7 mg)
* Omega 3-6-9 with every meal
* Centrum performance(also contains ginko and in addition ginseng) with breakfast
* the R isomer of Alpha lipoic acid in an XR version(its the universal antioxidant but unfortinately got a 3 hours half-life) - with breakfast
* Rhodiola rosea-Like ginsang, an adapdogen plant, as afficient as st.johns wort in fighting depression - with breakfast
sounds like a lot of supplements(5 actually:D ) but it works wonders for me better than SSRIs, I live a fast life, do lots of drugs and have a bad diet.
