that's a noble thought and i appreciate the message, but from a practical perspective this thread really doesn't offer anything in the way of "support". all it does is claim, 'your information is wrong' without offering any data to the contrary.
normally if you tell someone their argument is flawed, you offer a new argument that is more sensible. you don't just tell them they're incorrect, leave it at that, and expect them to be convinced.
i respect the fact that you're trying to stop the spread of inaccurate information, but until it's replaced with a viable alternative your claims only hold as much merit as the ones you've attempted to discredit.
sorry to be a hag about it, but that's my opinion.
i stuck one up my ass, to the second knuckle, and i dont think it did a damn thing. i was really curious if it even got broken down and absorbed, so the next day when it came time to poop, i broke out the gloves. just as i had thought, still a good portion of the pill left.
i'll just stick to eating pills from now on.

Should this work for other phenethylamines? Namely is it only amphetamines that absorb best in an alkaline environment or phenethylamines with them? Or is it that some phenethylamines respond to alkaline environments better than others (based on what, their ph-value?)?

This is all just a matter of science. However, unfortunately, most studies on MDMA and its absorption are not accurately portrayed. From what I have read (which could of course be false), the blood- brain barrier flirters out so much MDMA, that only 7% of the MDMA ingested in any way makes it to the brain, and only performs work on 5mg of serotonin, which is generally native to the brain. The reason why it may cause nausea is due to its interaction with the 30% of the body's serotonin in the digestive tract.
The rectal administration by passes the upper GI tract, but not the liver, which still filters out MDMA.
We should always be aware that MDMA will drain most of the serotonin the the vesicles, and once srotonin runs out and MAO eats it all up, thats it for your trip, no matter what the method of administration was.
Maybe scientific journal articles can provide more information, but they are generally biased against MDMA... how is that scientific.

Personally, I have always taken it orally. And I have never chewed it up becasue some gets stuck in your teeth. From what I've heard. Snorting makes it hit you faster and is a bit more intense but doesn't last as long. Out of all the people who I've rolled with (never at a arve..only friends) none have ever plugged and none have any desire to do so so i have no opinion on that. and recently i've herad the 2 best ways of doing it. both orally, the first is to break it in half and take one half then the other, don't chew. all at once. then something I've never done before but i heard it is the best way to do it is to crush the hell out of it in a paper towel and then wrap the paper towel up and swollow the whole paper towel with the X in it. I'm not sure why this works, but people who've done it sya it hits you quick and is really intense. But its challengin, because you have to eat the paper towel. If anyone has done this..please tell me what you thought!

well i've taken pills all kinds of ways only plugged once though and shit did it hit me and it was my 2nd pill but also the atmosphere was just laxin out in the open on some hill with friends talkin shit and watching the sun come up but i was twitching and shit but i was well and truley mashed up i'll try it again most likely this weekend, i'm up for anything really dont care wat it is just as long as its fun well yeah just my thoughts tata have fun

in my experiences, yes, it does.
Tums, etc will definitely increase the pH of the upper GI, allowing for quicker absorption.
For those that can't stand the taste of the chewables, ranitidine, etc will also favorably increase GI pH, but should be taken ~1 hour prior to drop.
For those with access to "chaser" pills, the jury is still out: carbonate neutralization v. activated carbon absorption...

You can also absorb a pill under your tounge to an extent (if you can handle the taste). In my experience it comes on slightly stronger but it can ulcerate your mouth a bit.
Make sure you dont stick a whole pill up your bum. Crush it up and put it in a capsule. Some of the softer pills may be ok but the harder ones will take much too long to break down.

My last pill (long time ago) I plugged, but it was a bad pill so it didn't help at all.
I finally have another chance, can't decide if I should snort half (never done that before) and hope 1/2 is good enough (I never get pills, or just swallow / plug 1 and enjoy it.

Ok, maybe this will help with all your questions........
I used to joke about plugging the X. i used to be kind of weird about it. but i said screw it. no one in my group had done it before, they were all bitches about it, so i decided to go and try it out.
The night started with just one tab. it was a white JJ. thats the easiest kind to get around here and the cheapest. its known to not be to great. but decent.
Me and a few friend just shallowed our tabs. we had one each. they took about 30 minutes to kick in. the roll was not great at all. but the thing i like about JJ's is their so nice to just take and chill out and talk with people.
We kind of got bored an hour later to we made some calls and i got 2 more jj's. i was going to swallow one more and save the other for the next weekend. but i said fuck it and handed it over to my 2 friends and they split it. one snorted one half, the other parachutted the other half. they both barely kicked in. nothing worth the $15.
We were sitting in the corner talking. i hadnt taken mine yet. then we started joking about plugging it. there were about 10 people in the room and none of us had tried it.
I was still rolling, so i didnt give a shit at all. i got up. i said "this is going in my ass". everyone thought i was joking. i didnt believe myself ether. i got up, pulled my pants down, and kind of hesitated. it felt kind of akward and gay. but i figured i might as well so i could stop wondering if the trip was any diffrent.
I put the tab on the tip of my index finger.
From there i just jammed the dam thing in.
I put it to my second knuckle.

I felt kind of dirty and violated, ha. i didnt plan on eating with the hand for the night. i just went and chilled with some friends and laid on my side.
That one little crappy JJ turned into a fucking dream about 20 minutes later. i could never have imagined how much more intense it would be. My eyes went fucking huge. i was rolling my ass off. it felt so amazing.
Later on into the night, everyones started wearing off because they had swallowed theres. so i left the room to go to this room we have with just a little stereo, and a florescent orange sun ceiling fan with black lights in it and a couple of chairs with a strobe light. Dam. it was no where near wearing off . my friends ran in the room screaming loud as hell because when they opened the door to the room, they looked over in the corner were i was and saw me holding the dam strobe light directly in my eyes with no space between me and the light. it looked so fucking amazing. yea, they kind of locked me out of that room for the night.
A couple hours later i felt stupid because i was tripping so hard and everyone else was normal. so i kind of chilled out and it wore off. i had no comedown at all really.
Plugging it made that one tab feel like multiple tabs. after doing that its about the only way i can imagine taking it in. now it seems like such a waist just swallowing it or snorting it.
Trust me people. this it the only way to go. you will be tripping so hard, you wont care about the fact that you just stuck something in your ass. Youl be the happiest man alive.

No, MDMA is not absorved trought the stomach, so taking an antiacid won't make you absorb a higher MDMA rate.
Yeah that's right, the MDMA is absorved in your intestine, and the environment there is pretty alcaline....
The antiacid will just speed up a little the process, as some of the MDMA( Very little) will be absorved in the stomach.
When you take the ecstasy orally, it passes trought the duodenum, and there some of it it's metabolized by the liver, wich decrease the amount of active MDMA.
So the amount of motebolite that comes out in the urine doesn't show anything about the absortion rate of the drug, cause some of it is metabolized before it enters the bloodstream (and the brain), in the intestine...

I really don't like the idea of sticking things up my ass, even little pills. Does anyone know about vaginally insurting a pill? I think would be more comfortable plugging that hole instead. Would the absorption rate be high as well.

yes but the amount of unmetabolized mdma that is excreted definately says something about the absorbtion. unmetabolized aphetamines will be reabsorbed in the bladder rather than being excreted if the bladder is more alkaline; acidic would cause the opposite.
