i'd like to know this too.... i just picked up what i hoped would be mdma, and turns out to be mda.
 
With MDA its a little more speedy and after a while you start seeing stuff. I saw freddy krugger and an evil parret having a convorsation in my basement when the light was dimmed. With MDMA its very sensual like we all know like every touch is very sensitive and your feelings come out more. MDA is also very sensual but not to the same level that MDMA Is. What me and my girlfriend did was we mixed MDA and MDMA together and its was the best tripp night we had we dosed 4 pills each, 2 MDMA and 2 MDA hehehe it was the best.. Peace out
 
what about a newbie to all MDxx drugs taking low doses? Like 1/2 of a pure pill.... would there be a significant difference between that and mdma?
 
Similarities? MDMA and MDA both have the same *basic* function; that is to say, they both stimulate the release of massive amounts of serotonin. So you still "roll" on MDA, it's just that MDA also stimulates the release of a lot more dopamine than MDMA (hence the "speediness") and it may stimulate some other serotonin receptors, creating the visuals. Does anyone know more about the mechanics of MDA than I do and care to elaborate?

Thanks! I do know quite a bit about the mechanics having done my research - i know that mda also stimulates the receptors having to do with perception, and I know that MDMA does not do this. The thing is that most people's experiences are with high doses of MDA (this is BL after all). I'm wondreing if a small dose of MDA to an MDxx first timer - 1/2 pill of the white sunflowers for example:

would produce an "ecstasy-like" experience... we're not in it to trip per se but have an awesome evening of touching, talking and fun...

My first time I had a pill that was MDA/caffeine. In retrospect it was a shitty pill, but since it was my first time, I had a fucking fantastic time, and loved everyone and everything... I think you'll probably have a great time. MDA is definitely fun, esp. if you don't take a fuckload of it. And when it's over, next time you can get MDMA, and have your first time all over again, because there isn't any cross-tolerance.

that's awesome to hear. I don't know if she'll have a second time, but it was really hard to get these pills, so if no mdma comes by in the next period of time - it might just be these...

i'm glad you know what i'm saying about *quantity*. It's great that everyone here likes to define their subjective differences in pills, but I also know that people take 3, 4 or MORE in an evening. I never take more than 2,and I'd be surprised if my wife did more than 1/2, At the same time, I want it to be emotional, lovey-dovey, intense, etc., and I do keep reading that MDA does not have the same "loved up" feelings....but from a bio-chem standpoint (from what I understand) it still releases boadloads of seratonin...

And of course, she'll be nervous, and i don't want her to panic :)

The pills I had were pure in capsules both the MDA and the MDMA so they were very strong even one pill of MDA will have you going its just like MDMA but when you go into really dark places then once in a while you'll see things that don't belong there I love the fast vision. I myself take them with my girl because we enjoy the feelings and intensity and are very emotional in a good way. Its up to you I took one capsule that had 150mgs in it of pure MDA and it had me rolling nice just like MDMA.
 
I'll bet that most novice or inexperienced rollers would have a hard time telling the difference. They might just think they had a stronger pill and got alot more fucked up from MDA. But it's still that same rollin feelin.
 
yeah right.. MDA and MDMA feel almost the exact same IMO.. MDA is just a little longer, a bit trippier, and has a heavier body load.. Aside from that MDA/MDMA are interchangeable, as long as you are keeping shit in reasonable doses.

IMO, there is more detectable differences in acid and shrooms, or coke and speed.(strictly effect wise)
 
come to think of it, everytime i have rolled i think was either all mda or mda and mdma together... everytime i hev always had some kind of trippy experience (ie my cousin and sisters faces morphing into another person...on seperate occasions) i always knew that there was mda in it, but now im starting to think i have never actually rolled on mdma. i've never tripped to the extent of freddy kruger and a parrot! most of the trippiness happens to me when there is little or no light

It should also be noted that extra high doses of MDMA, or more commonly, repeated doses of MDMA will result in hallucinatory effects.. So if youve taken 8 pills and are tripping, dont assume you got MDA in a bean..

^^^Ibizakat....This is exactly what happened to me. I also think the 2nd time (with MDMA) rocked much more than the first! Just my opinion. I can't really tell the difference much because I've only dropped 6 times. I did however have more visuals. Some goofball said it was MDMA and Acid, so idk.
 
Silverfucked is right, I've had visuals on MDMA, but it was (for me) a very high dose. It was confirmed MDMA by my test kit. I was completely "out of my tree" (my phrase of the week) at the time though, I was completely concious etc I just had to have a friend prop me up as we stumbled around the dance event.
 
well - i had visuals on mdma too - but i has taken three pills over the course of the evening, and was sitting out at night watching a starry sky. I saw all sorts of faces in the sky, as well as shadows of things. But I could "shake my head" and make them go away if I wanted to... my vision was all fucked up as well - it was IMPOSSIBLE for me to read my iPod's light up screen...
 
I can easily tell the difference. An easy way to tell if i have mdma is everytime a pill contains mdma and not mda I have a smile on my face ear to ear and I can't get rid of it.

I have visuals on both, but I seemed to have more on MDA with less dose, (about 2 pills) if that makes sense. On about 4 pills of MDMA--i see things that arent even there! Like I said, Im not sure how to tell which is which until someone says...this is MDA or MDMA..ect. I think the MDMA w/ Acid is a lil bologna, tho....
 
I've had unreal visuals on MDMA, every single bass beat and line to the music had a different firework. I'm not talking lasers and shit, I'm talking flying exploding shit all around the room... Unreal...
