Spade - It's almost like doing essays at school: You would be best doing a "draft" first, hand it to someone who's good with form-filling and then tidy it up with their advice.

I'm just trying to claim tax back but need forms from the job centre to prove I'm signing on or whatever. Shouldn't be too tricky.
 
I don't have the form yet but shouldn't be too big, I'm just lazy and forgetful.
 
The other form sat on my floor, as a reminder, for the past 3 months. It didn't remind me at all, I just stepped over it every day and ignored it until it became normal for it to be there.
 
I was literally counting how many months it had been since I sent off my appeal stuff and the postman came....

"We've looked again and fuck you, we're not changing our decision."

So I'm gunna have to wait for another letter and then go through the horrible tribunal process (and alone this time) :(
I know this thread is old but I suspect peeps will be getting similar letters soon....

Monsta, what have you done for cash while the appeal is going through? (edit - Just realised how that sounds, I don't actually want to know, just want to know if you still get a giro lol) I recently got KBed for ESA (like, last week) because I only got 6 points. It says I can appeal or claim JSA. I really don't want to claim JSA, but I can't wait till the appeal is done (& probably rejected) with no money. Do they re-instate your ESA while the appeal is being dealt with? It took months for a reply just from the inital ATOS assessment so I'm guessing the appeal will take even longer.
 
I've had to use cash that grandparents have left me and ask family - They (Knobcentre) were supposed to pay me a sort of "while you're waiting" payment but I've seen non of it. And getting in touch with them is like.... Impossible. Especially with no credit and no landline.
Gunna go to the "local" one hopefully tomorrow and see what they say.

They said either appeal or JSA and yea fuck that. It takes a bit of cash getting there every week and other things they ask and places to go!
I don't know what they'll say about the appeal payment they were supposed to pay me.

What do you mean by KBed PTC?
 
Sorry, by KBed I mean knocked-back. I got a letter saying I hadn't got enough "points" so they've stopped my claim.

That's shit man. They're pretty fucking useless, aren't they? I definitely wouldn't trust them saying I'd get some sort of payment unless it was in writing with specific dates & amounts.

I think I'm going to have to bite the bullet & sign on proper. Fucking nightmare, having to pretend to apply for shite jobs that I don't want lol.

Well they're making up this new "process" as they go alone and it's a left-hand-doesn't-know-what-the-right-hand's-doing ting.
I do have it in writing somewhere that I should have been paid as I've kept all papers, so I'll take that with me tomorrow and say "Oi you cunts" in my most polite manner.
Urg, good luck mate. I despised that, and now there are so little jobs going that it can only be worse :\
 
I was on ESA and housing for ages just because I was in supported housing, as soon as I left had a medical and failed, didn't even bother appealing.. Kept claiming the housing for months after finding work an signing off JSA, quite bad but didn't want to pay the rent on the 15 bedroom den I was living in Bristol the bathroom got smashed to pieces FFS! Am I right in thinking you could do that for some time without being caught?

Also I am sure everyone already knows about SayNoTo0870 but another good one is 0800 Buster if you don't have a landline :)
 
You tell'em, Dr Monkey. Sure, it's only loonies and the chronically sick who think ATOS don't play fair and who cares about such losers? Me and the monkey have no time for useless mouths like PTC; there should be special camps for such people where they'd have to work if they want to eat. We should do the same with all these Muslim immigrants, too, who come here to scrounge our welfare, steal our women and blow up our
buildings. All these whiners need is a bit of discipline. Yus..

Latest thing is Universal Jobmatch where you have to sign up through the YouGov site I think it is and put yr CV on there and suitable jobs are automatically matched and sent to you and when you go to sign on the jobcentre staff go online & can check what jobs you have applied for.
Big Brother is watching you even closer now.
 
I have just been chatting with someone that is waiting on a appeal . They are ill .
This is a fukin ridiculous situation people have committed suicide already & more will i anticipate . The fuked up thing is this is not going to save that much money , obviously some but no where near as much as we are led to believe.
 
It's a ridiculous state of affairs where the government continue to take money away from those that have the least in society, yet multinational companies such as Starbucks and Vodafone get away with paying fuck all.
Makes me fucking sick.
