now we getting into the nitty gritty neo! great discussion and you prompted me to think deeper and explain myself more, so here we go:
genetics; its a bullshit in the sense that, its not what people first think genetics means.
we are all human, we all have 99% the same genetics. what sets us apart are a few key points, that ultimately IS our genetics, but not considered what people think is.
what makes us fat or not is not our genetics. its a product of our environment.
we are a product of what we've done the last 8-10 years. if you been marathon run training for 8-10yrs, your muscle fibres will adapt to whats best for those long, hard runs.
They will be totally different muscle composition from a eg. 100 metre sprinter for 8-10yrs, their fibres will be explosive and the energy system feeding them will have adapted to be different.
You can be either, or none. Its what you've been doing all that time that will determine where you are now.
Its not a genetic makeup, oh this person was destined to be a runner. No, not at all. they just applied themselves! for 8-10 solid years to build the foundation. this does indeed change our genetic make up, as we age we change, a product of our environment.
Another form of genetics is the ability to cope. this is what i call true genetics. its outside our control for the most part, we can't really train for it (although you CAN train for anything).
Take for example drinking alcohol, some people's genetics gives them more liver enzyme production, that breaks down the toxins. This is the true genetics. this is the factor that makes pro bodybuilder that true 1%. The average person would die from the anabolics they take, their genetics allows them to take copious amounts and not excessive liver problems, not cascade into severe depression etc etc.
The idea that your physical body is "good" or "bad" genetics is a lie. its to make people feel better about themselves, for NOT achieving their goals. well thats a very big mistake right off the bat.
Not everyone can be mr olympia, because not everyone can cope with the stress the body undertakes to do that.
But that has nothing to do with our physical appearance. its the biological functions that our true "genetics" is determined by.
Another reason why, when using steroids, going high doses first without introducing them to your body and letting its genetics learn how to process said molecules will only lead to disaster.
Do you rock upto the gym and just put your working set straight on the bar?
Or do you pyramid up, so your body gets warmed up, the joints get lubricated and adequate stress fires muscles responses preparing for the onslaught.
Then why would anybody approach anything else in life different. Gear as an on topic example.
Would you just start with 500mg a week? or would you think 200/300mg for first few weeks is actually adequate to saturate and then upping to 400, then 500 over another few weeks actually be a smarter idea.
I say thats a great idea. others say just load up the bar...
I have previous injuries ive learnt from, i hope others learn from my mistakes, start light and build up, instead of loading up the bar.
Use your genetics to your advantage! don't destroy that learning machine by overdoing it too early.
Talking about genetics, i probably shouldn't mention clen. someone remind me in a month or so and i'll give my 2 cents on rna/dna and clen
