How to - Deal with LE.

Another Stripper Quest.

Thank you for this thread, Cap. Forte'.

When police perform a strip search
in NSW,
is it to the point of naked?

As I don' wear undergarments,
the removal of my trousers/shorts
would result in this.

Thanks again fo' this thread.
It's a wealth of information.
:)

PEACE
UnS
:)

Anyone here have an iphone?

Chances are a lot of you do. Then you are carrying around a tape recorder with you all the time. There's a bunch of free voice recorder aps. I've been trying them out and they work remarkably well at picking up conversations around you.

So all you need to do to record an incident with LE is to pull out your phone (just checking the time, officer) press the ap's icon then hit record.

How to deal with LE?

Reach into your findullalums and pull out your strap, BLAOW BLAOW, fucking watch that bacon fry.

But in all honest, fucking don't say a word to the police except your name and any other details about yourself that the police require, nothing about the said incident in which popo have a reason to fuck with you. They will twist and manipulate your words in the court of law, because you were jittery and fumbling with your words while they were interrogating you, and fuck your life up. Stay mute if arrested. Do not say a fucking word without legal eagles' present.

Agreed, awesome thread.

I want to know if an officer strip searches me, is he able to get me completely naked? He takes me down to my underwear, does he need more suspicion to take my underwear off? Does this have to happen at the station (in complete privacy)? At an outside event, can they do this in tents? If so, what would be classed as enough suspicion/evidence to get me completely naked? Also, if they pat me down, are they allowed to touch private areas? If so, can they use the excuse "I felt something unordinary" to get me completely uncovered?

This ain't fucking America dude. All they can do is search your pockets and bags or anything on your personnel. They can not take of your panties and conduct a search, if they did, any evidence they found and arrested you with (say if you had a kilo of raw and uncut cocaine in your knicker bockers) would be thrown out in court and you'd be a free man due to police misconduct. This is what happens in Queensland. My suggestion is that all Queenslanders read the Police Powers and Responsibilities Act 2000 and be informed of what police can and can't do.

187 thousand G!

I've heard of drunks being taken into custody for the night or untill they sober up, so my question is this.

If your out and noticably fucked up, are the cops able to take you into custody untill your straight again?

I'm not sure, I've been around police while stoned and I'm pretty sure they knew I was off my face because they asked if i had smoked anything recently, I just mumbled that i had an eye condition... =D

Can you imagine a copper trying to arrest someone who's peaking on E? It would be hilarious watching them trying to catch them for one. When I'm peaking, I can run so fast its not funny...

... All they can do is search your pockets and bags or anything on your personnel. They can not take of your panties and conduct a search, ...

Okay. So I'm a Queenslander. And you're saying under no circumstances can they conduct a search of you're private area. Even if the drug dog clearly detects something, you have a large bulge where you shouldn't have and you were dobbed in by a narc.

Can they arrest you and do it at the station?

Sorry cant remember if youre a cop (to lazy to reread the whole thread, short term memory loss :() or not. If you ever arrested someone for a small amount of drugs, like a gram of weed, 1 or 2 pills. You knew he wasnt a dealer, clean record etc and just a user out for a good time but arrested him anyway. So this guy gets a record and his life is pretty much fucked up till he dies (problems with employment etc). Dont you feel sorry for this person that you are fucking this guys life over something so minor or is there a hidden jolly police get from doing this? Is there any emotion at all? Yes I realise everytime a user uses, they are taking a risk and I realise thats its against the law but maybe im just alittle over empathic towards others and way to nice. :)

Thanks for the contribution fortehlulz, its been an interesting read

You should read it all. Show the man some respect - its a damn good thread. I doubt he's a cop, his language re: popo, suggests otherwise, and his knowledge of the relevant Acts would school any cop on the beat.

Yeah Wild Strawberries, they'll detain you and conduct a full body search including a cavity search or whatever it's called if they have reasonable doubt or whatever, that you are concealing drugs in your undies. Except the way they go about it has strict guidelines and it's up to the magistrates to throw the case away if the evidence was obtained unfairly or if it was obtained fairly, you'll go through the criminal justice system. Fuck man I dunno read the PPRA 2000. Just take your drugs before u go out and keep a few pills or bud whatever on you when u wanna pop some more when ur comin down that way u dont get fucked on as badly by the 5-0.

Side note from the Moderators of Australian Drug Discussion.

this thread has grown very rapidly in short amount of time, but we would like to remind people that the information provided here may be innacurrate. If you want qualified legal advice the best people to talk to are community legal centres or organisations such as legal Aid in your city.

another note is that there are also legislative differneces between states and also federally, very few people are qualified to give advice across all juristictions in australia (and usually they are high court justices). Bit this should not deter people from asking questions and doing a little of their own research into the matters discussed here :)

Damn. I kinda hang out for the cavity searches

Section 13, Summary Offences Act 1966 Vic. Has its own arrest power. If you're drunk in public (which includes a bar, or out on the street), you can be arrested and lodged in safe custody.

im sure that this does not have to be a police station but can also be a proclaimed place aka sobering up shelter. within which special legislative requirements exist..

well in canberra atleast

Im from qld too brisbane there seem to be alot of raids going on and people gettin numerous raids done even if they find no drugs how do they continualy get warrants to raid people with very little evidence?

How many times is harrasment?

Is phone tapping very common?

If someone is that paranoid about posting on bluelight because of authority requesting ISP addresses etc, still seems fruitless (and i recall another post where admin stated cache/whatever is flushed after 2 days??..). Proxy address software and anonym redirector sites are old news like 2001 styles..

since i used do 282 request for info (under the Telco Act 1997), i can answer his.

Most carriers and for that matter ISPs maintain Netflow (network accounting) a serious quantity of data on every bit and byte of traffic that passes through their core routers. That said its purely economics as to how long they maintain it before they overwrite it. You'd be surprised at how quickly a few TB go......

in summary yes we keep a shit load of traffic and all carriers have are required to give federal agencies direct access access to core routing, for real time interception purposes.

That said I'd imagine you'd have to be doing something pretty serious to get the feds involved, like handling phone cards for cousin Ahmed

Queensland Police Services can't tap phones, not unless they contact the Queensland Crime and Misconduct Commission whom have more coercive powers than state and local law enforcement bodies. So the raids aren't happening due to phone tapping and wires planted in people's houses, they're probably happening from anonymous tip-offs from ultra-conservative neighbours who have nothing better to do then call bored police officers who'll jump at the chance to get a search warrant and raid a premises on the grounds that they believe drug activity is happening within the residence.

Shit is pretty fucked up in Brisbane. Bored coppers, bored neighbours are to blame.

I just removed a few posts.

Please keep the questions & discussion related to drug law in a personal context, i.e. possession, search, reasonable suspicion.

If you deal; you should probably speak to a proper lawyer for your questions.

qld police

yes things are bad in qld with police the sunshine coast from what i hear is even worse alot of people gettin a knock on the door again and again and again i am astonished to know how they get warrants when there is no evidence found in half the raids they are either bored or have to much cash in there budget
