Ever met someone from Bluelight?

I've met many. Nearly all of them I wish I could have spent more time with. I look forward to seeing so many of my bluelight friends again. :) :)

Oh, and my fiancee is an ex-bluelighter. We met because of the board before they kicked him off, lol.

^bl aint big enough for a nacho fascist <3

i didn't meet any for the first few years, but since then met quite a few. practically all of them were as great in real life as they are online, more friendly actually. looking forward to seeing a few this weekend.

yes!

I've attended a wedding between two BLers who might be one of my favorite couples that I've ever met

I dated a BLer for a short time. she is an awesome young lady who I admire physically and mentally

syymphoantic is one my best friends and I met her on this site years and years ago. it helped that we grew up so close to one another

mostly BLers are fun to meet, and it's safe. me being a testosterone-laden male I've met many that I didn't even know very well. while I wouldn't recommend it, the act never put me in any danger. sometimes you can run into some very strange people, but it's more comical than unsafe...

as you can see I've met best friends, girlfriends, and friends for life. I have given up my couch to many of a BLer and they have saved my ass when my band travels and have put me up in tight situations. I think it helps that I'm a mod and that I've been an active member for so long, so that those who don't necessarily know me too well are willing to take a chance

in the end, I count BLers as some of my bestest friends. but it always sucks when you have to say goodbye, as most of you are people that I wish I could spend more time with than just simply 3 or 4 days out of the year

i know a couple of people that come on here, if they have accounts i dont know. and i have yet to meet someone from this forum, maybe in a few yearsz

i personally haven't met anyone but i'm all for it, a lot of people on BL seem really interesting and down to earth.. who knows what the future has in store :)

I was in a relationship with a bluelighter for about 2 years, ive also formed some friendships from here and attended a few Aus social dinners but I was under 18 then so I never got to go out to bars or clubs with them and unfortunately a lot of them looked down on me coz I was so young but since then most of the bluelighters ive met have become friends.

I love to help out around here but I have gained much more from this site than it has from me, its a pretty amazing place that ive never been able to leave.

including calling Kenickie up when she was like a 150post bluelighter and asking her to come over =D

I shamelessly admit to browsing BL at school in the hopes that someone comes up to me one day and says "OMG, you read BL?" It will be love at first sight. =D

I do the same thing with my BL shirt. I've been hoping someone would just be like "Bluelight!!" in public. No luck yet. :\

The only BLer I have met is the person who introduced me to this site, so we were friends before I joined.

two of my favorite meeting of the BLers stories goes like this:

a) it was about 5-6 AM after a really fun outdoor summer rave in the gorgeous outdoors of Southern Ohio. I awake from my drug slumber to shuffle like a zombie to the port-a-potties. when I finished pissing I shuffled back to my tent (which consisted of a not very well known BLers from where I was who gave me a ride and tent down to the rave) I hear someone yell "axl! axl! hey axl!" and lo and behold it is the venerable ego_loss and vibr8tor! although we have been internet friends for a long time, we never truly met face-to-face. they invited me to their tent, where we enjoyed some illicit activities that they not even once asked me nor wouldn't let me to reimburse them. it was so much fun hanging out with them, and now I shuffled back to my tent around 11ish. I remember the act of packing down my tent to be one of the most difficult tasks in my life ;)

b) I just moved to Boston to play in some bands and I was completely new to the city. the magic of Bluelight struck me again (I'm very lucky and blessed by this website) and I get a PM from a nice young lady who just so happens to live across the street from me! we start hanging out all the time, and she again shares some great things with me. she was o0psy_daisy although I don't think she posts much anymore, however she might still lurk. and then I got to meet even more Boston BLers, like the just as venerable Ebowtheletter, who invited me to this weekly dance spot by Harvard where they spun some great jungle. almost instantly, I felt better about the fact that I was in a completely foreign place. I could at least call two natives my friends :)
