eating Nurofen

All these excuses you people need... Woah! I just walk in, ask for two 48 packs of N+ and I get them. Only once have I been quized, and that was on a Sunday morning when I was wearing my "Drug Testing In Progress" shirt (we had decided to get all codeined up after the club). And all he asked me was "You know how to take this?". Maybe Newcastle pharmacys are more laid back....

The thread isn't called "scoring Nurofen" guys... can we just accept that every pharmacy is different because, well, they're run by people who aren't robots trained to give the same advice and who don't have the same level of care or prejudices.

BigTrancer :)

Hey guys, when you get packs where the tablets dont split properly, its just generally a problem with the way they were bound together, storage, transport conditions, and age which effects the binding properties within the pill. You'll still find that the codeine is on the N+ side, and the ibuprofen on the other - it just doesnt split properly. Try it to find out (either eat them as usual, or dissolve them in seperate glasses and see which side dissolves quicker, thats the codeine then).
AS for the statement regarding the two compounds not being able to bind together, it is true. Hence the need for division in the first place. Codeine and ibuprofen do not combine together in a homogensied matrix, therefore they are seperated, and and forced together via two bound halves. When it becomes crumbly, its just a deterioaration with the binders/fillers.
As for reasons of purchasing larger amounts, i just say im about to go backpacking overseas, and i need a large amount on me because they are really effective pain relief.

Same got very ill of 17 n+ halfes what a load of bollocks plus has anyone ever been able to get codeine linctus in scotland its fucking imposible ( theyve caught on an fob u off with pholcodine psssssshht )

picked up a box at the late night chemist near my place and they split (48 pack) took a little bit to figure out how to do it properly, cause I was crumbling a few...at first... then I got the technique down and worked every go..

Monyet I had 10xN+ halves last night and got a most unpleasant feeling in my head - got a little nausious and had to go and sleep it off... but woke up this morning and am still kinda feeling warm and floaty... but IMO it's not even worth it....

there's better ways of getting high, i'm a first and last time offender for this way though :)

hmm.. nah, I think I'm gonna stay clear away from codeine altogether - kind of like pot (cant smoke that either) gives me this really bad dizzy feeling in my head...

the sort of feelings I get from going on flying chairs, I can't handle that either, I must have a weak stomach or head or something....

I just want to warn everyone who is reading this thread that codeine, while easy to get, is an opiate. Like all opiates it can be physicaly addictive, I used it more than 4 times a week (through N+ halves) for about 6 months ending only about a week ago. I didnt know how much shit I was getting myself into.

Sure it can be fun, but keep it at once a week or less regularly than that. I beleive I have developed a minor physical addiction and have had some difficulty stoping. I have had what I beleive to be mild physical withdrawals and have had to re-dose just as to not be in constant pain.

This is not a sob story, this is not a "i eat more drugs" post, I just dont want others to be harmed as there seems to be a lot of interest in opiates recently... has anyone noticed this?

Note: re: "haha you fucking idiots. its buying a OTC, not a S8" (ihaq4weed) -> the above also explains why getting neurophen+ was bloody hard!! When your eating 120 N+ sides a week you dont just frequent one pharmacy you need at least a suburb or two....... even then they start to get suspicious.

EDIT: Urbanhog -> the main reason people play with codiene is its availability. Its easier to get than most drugs. I agree, morphine etc give better highs but can be difficult to procure for a large number of people

oh and please dont give me a hard time, its taken considerable courage to post this to begin with... I know Im a tool so save the flaming please.

I used for the last two weeks almost everyday without even really realising it. Didn't have a dose last night and i feel like crap today. Masssive leg aches, couldn't sleep, can't eat...might be from a pill i droped on the weekend but i doubt it.

good to hear it should be over in a week or so!!!, I am suffering runny nose, back aches, muscle pain, realy cold limbs and fullon temper like from lucid to screaming madman in 1 second.

Thanks for the links, I think I did a silly by going cold turkey I have had to dose once this week due to the WD effects. Its just to much. However lately its been poppy tea not codiene I have been using.

I do also have experience with opium tar and morphine so I know what you mean about codiene being a bit piss week. Its very true that even though it is a week opiate the potential for trouble is still there!

WARNING long post and may need to be moved - sorry

all too true mongman,

This is pretty long and I hope I have followed the guidelines? I have a few things to say about codeine, how I started and possible addiction:

Here goes.

My first experiment with Codeine was the best..

...I found some Panadeine forte (from when I had my wisdom teeth extracted). I knew all about CWE, and so decided to dose up about 200mg and see how I go.... I felt great, relaxed, calm and content...itched like a madman, but the itch was enjoyable for me (just like when someone helps you to scratch your back in that one place where you just can't reach). At the time all I could think was "WOW, this is great, what I need right now, I'm relaxed and feel perfect!" the best part was no paranoia.... a major plus (compared to weed..)

After many times doing codeine CWE, I soon discovered that the best and only way to feel the effects. I would only take it on an empty stomach, and have NOTHING to distract me. I would always put my fave music on, usually Kyuss or something, lay back on my bed, and just swim around in the sounds.

However, I noticed side effects, aching back, neck and shoulders, soar muscles, tired feeling depressed and constantly called work because I was sick. At my worst, I was anxious stressed and just to I could try going back to work, I was put on Zoloft, then Aropax - both these never helped, actually I had a bad reaction with my throat on SSRIs, my doc has no idea I was taking so much codeine, so now I have been taking benzos ..... the only thing I was wanting was more codeine. When the doc was not prescribing any opiate, I just resorted to N+ halves. Stopped taking the benzos while doing codeine... Eventually I went from codeine w/end use, to wanting and doing it almost everyday.

Now, recently I have been good and not doing too much codeine. But, I just had a bad fall (while on benzos, fell down stairs - my apartment has no lift, I live top floor and and I have to climb up 5 flights! Try this on crutches - see how you go). Anyway to get to the point, I thought I broke my left ankle but after 2 lots of x-rays, they said I had torn all the ligaments. Doc said it can take 4-6 weeks to heal properly, he gave me a brace, some crutches and sent me home. I was not prescribed ANY painkillers!!!!!!! I asked for something for the pain because I could not cope with it but he just said 'take some Panadol' - yeah right, I did tell him I was prescribed Ducene, so maybe this has something to do with why he wouldn't give me any strong painkillers.. Panadol is useless so I stumbled myself to the nearest chemist, showed them my ankle and they only let me take a 24 pack of N+ (not good enough!).

I called up a friend who said he could help, and came over with his supply of Panadeine forte (he had these also from wisdom teeth), he then drove me to to my usual doctor and I explained everything, he immediately prescribed more Panadeine forte for me YAY! The doc also said that it is fine for me to be taking Ducene and Panadeine Forte together. SO I FAIL TO UNDERSTAND WHY THE DOC AT THE ROYAL M*&B#)*NE HOSPITAL SAID NO TO ANY STRONG PAINKILLERS? I took the panadeine forte as prescribed by the doc, expecting some pain relief, but nothing much if at all?

Only solution I could think of today was do a CWE to get more codeine working for me. As I was in the middle of doing a CWE, there was a knock the door, I freaked out (I have a security intercom and have to buzz people in; NO ONE except my landlord can get in) so my bowl with all the codeine extracted was just ready and out of the fridge, ready to be consumed, needless to say, I knocked it over and I lost a LOT of good codeine...
:(

Anyhow, I just wanted to tell you all to be careful with codeine. Sure it is only 'codeine' and nothing compared to much stronger opiates/opioids.. but I still want it all the time, and and in ,my pain at the moment it has not helped ... I feel as though only way I can be helped now is with Oxy or something else, but I don't know how to get hold of these ... and I never want to be addicted to that stuff anyway...

Sorry for the stupid long post.. Moderators, I don't care if you delete/move/edit whatever you need to do... I sure could not think of the best thread to post on.

Its great to get it off your chest and Im glad to hear Im not the only one who has fallen awry with this chemical. Dont underestimate it.

I hope that you can help yourself and get off the stuff, Im giving it my best shot. If you want to talk about it just PM me.

Take care

and stay away from those damn stair mkay!

I think codeine is a great introduction to Opiates. Especially for people who want to get a taste of the high but are afraid to much of addiction. Although it can be fairly addictive in itself and may lead to even more curiosity of other opiates. Although I think it's more of a mental high then anything else and because of its low body load its effects are often missed. I don't know how good codeine would be as a substitute for other opiates or if someone was trying to gradually lower their dosage of opiates and using codeine as a softer form. I'd imagine it would work to relieve some of the withdrawels?

yes, it is common for people doing DIY withdrawels to taper using codiene if there is nothing else available.

i have never tried it but now im real interested.
What dosage i.e how many halves should i take and what is the high like??
