eating Nurofen

I find that 150mg feels more dreamy and nicer than 300mg. So many people say codeine isn't worth it but i think it's an awesome high when mixed with a little bit of weed.
 
yeah true chrisisparanoid... I have had more intense highs on lower amounts of Codeine. I am now feeling very relaxed and content which is nice. ... I have really built up a tolerance...
 
Regarding anti-histamines and codeine... some antihistamines can have a sedating/calmative effect. If you find that you experience a significant depression in your breathing rate or are susceptible to falling asleep on your dose of codeine I would recommend extra caution if you intend combining with a sedating antihistamine. Whenever experimenting with drug combinations please start with less-than-half of your 'normal' dose of either, and check up on RxList.com or similar reference sites to determine whether there are any specific contraindications for your pharmaceuticals. It would be a shame to take antihistamine to stop the itch from an opiate and then fall unconscious/stop breathing due to the combination of drug effects.

I have 80+ pre-split nurofen plus pills and yes they are all codeine :-). You just gotta get the right batches. Which I won't reveal because I don't want the drug company to find out and then stop doing it lol :-). but maybe this might help "even stevens".
 
I hardly ever get the ones that you can't split... i've almost always got them in 24 pack too. Has anyone found any 48 packs that you can't split?
 
I've never had a 48 pack I couldn't split. I got the unsplittable ones in a 24 pack too. 48 packs wouldn't sell as fast as 24 packs so you'd expect the 48 packs to be older and therefore from splittable batches. They have to go behind the counter in a lot of places for the 48's. One pharmacy here is really good. National Pharmacies, down Southern Adelaide. They have all their drugs on display, so you just take what you want and take it up to the register.
They might ask you "have you had these before", to which you always answer "yes" unless you want a lecture. I think it goes without saying not to say "yes, I split them and they are fucking great, especially with some George Benson in the background".

well, I hapened to get a rather large lecture in a glen waverly, Melbourne, pharmacy recently.

I went in gave them the usual spiel, they tried to sell me a small pack and I said "do you have anything in a larger pack?"
I think that perked the womans supsisions, she said yes they did but I would need to give my personal details. I decided that I should just bluff my way through it. So I (stupidly) gave them some ID, she wrote down my name and went off into the back room!!! A minuite or so later she came back out with the pharacist who continued to grill me. Then told me they couldnt sell a larger pack to me. I said OK. They then went on about how I should see a doctor, I told them I had (I realy had!!!) and the doctor I went to. The woman told me the doc in question was a quack and not to go to them again!!
I left the store feeling violated in some intangible way, since then I havnt bought a single box of the farkin things! Not worth the headfx you get off the pharacists
 
Pete, I also go from pharmacy to pharmacy.. I have a good story so....here goes

I went to a real busy chemist in the heart of the city. There were heaps of people there getting prescripts and seemed not enough staff to keep the customer moving through... I searched all the shelves for N+, but of course they were behind the counter so I had to stand in line - only noticing 24 packs, and I was wanting a 48...... anyway the attendant asked 'can I help you'. to which I replied 'yes thanks, a box of the N+ please (acting like I was in pain...strain in my voice hehe). she gets the box and I had to pay with eftpos... the cost was $X, and she said 'I am sorry, but u must spend at least $10 to use your card'...Then she said 'we have tissues for $1, right here at the counter, so you can purchase those too', so I said 'I don't need tissues for pain. I need medication for STRONG pain, is there something stronger or more expensive instead?', she said 'oh, so you are in pain then (duh!), hold on I will ask my boss" so I waited while she talked to him and pointed at me and came back and said ' we have a pack of 48 which are like $XX is that ok?", I said 'thanks. I appreciate that'.... then while she was happy with me I asked 'can have some Robo DX too please, I forgot to get this for my mum last night and just rembered, she was coughing all night, poor thing', 'oh. ok just make sure you don't take more than 6 N+ per day' then I swiped my card and walked out, went to another chemist next block, they had N+ 48s on shelf and Robo DX, so I picked them up too and the nice old lady at counted served me with no questions at all!!!! this shows that some pharmaciy attendants are trained to ALWAYS ask even with non-prescription drugs!

Another time at anothert pharmacy, I wanted the 48 pack and they also only had 24s. When I asked for the 48 pack, the attendant said 'oh. has your doc prescribed these for you?'(like that happens all the time! NOT) so I said 'yes, for severe back and neck pain, headaches'. She had to ask her boss where the packs of 48 were!!! and I had a funny feeling that she would come back and say 'sorry. we don't have any left in stock'.....but I was wrong. 'casue I eventually got what I was after!

I am sick of being asked questions when I look very respectable, and don't need a prescription for these drugs anyway....Maybe, if I looked Iike a real druggie then I don't blame them for asking, but really!

Yeah, I have not used Robo DX before and it was okay but don't know if I will do it again. Check my DXM post from last night. I was flippin' out when I tried to post. I had to crawl to bed, had no balance, and only remember numerous times I had to throw up!!! not too good, and I slept for soooooo long. I normally can't sleep at all.
 
Maybe you took too much? It's a common pitfall for people to dose big with dextromethorphan syrup, because they read crap about you have to drink a whole bottle to trip off it, which is nonsense. It's quite enjoyable (though considerably less 'trippy') at much lower doses, there's heaps of info on dosing at Erowid. Anyway, glad you're ok now.

Back to the topic... Nurofen.

Man you guys have to go through so much shit. I've been to more pharmacies than I can remember here in S.A. to get Nurofen Plus and they always ask if I've had them before and I say yes, then they just give them to me. Just be really casual about it, like it's no big deal, if they ask why you need it say "I have chronic back pain related from my scoliosis and I can't get into see my doctor for a few weeks" or some other bullshit sob story. Another good trick is to play dumb, "I need something strong for my back pain, until I see my doctor in about two weeks time, he usually gives me Panadine Forte, what's the strongest stuff you can give me over the counter until then? I've tried Panadeine and it doesn't really help".

If you believe your bullshit, then you can bullshit well. I'm on SSRI anti-depressants which kind of make you emotionless, so lying my arse off to strangers is easy.

Just be very polite, don't dress like a druggie (i.e. a marijuana leaf t-shirt), but neat and tidy casual.

I have glasses and look like a square, so maybe that's why I get them so easy :-).
 
yes I have used the back pain excuse many times (always works), and also they have been promoting N+ on telly so much lately, so you could just say "I saw the ad on TV and asked my doc and he/she advised me to try it and nothing else until I get my next appointment". I think that would work fine if they give you any trouble.

Oh and thanks for you concern BT:) I think I did take too much DXM, yeah, I am okay, just slept it off. ... I am still curious to DXM so next time it will be a much lower dose...and take it slowley! I read erowid (like you mentioned) and I got it all wrong and should not have skulled the whole thing. Oh and it is scary when you bring it up, and it is all red! I was trpping and seeing all these colours and thought my insides were leaving my body, and when I stopped shaking and all, I saw everying going purple and then green, I have NEVER felt so scared while trpping like that. pleasure and pain I guess

haha you fucking idiots. its buying a OTC, not a S8. theres no reason that you should have to give your license to buy 48packs, i regulary tell them its for my gf "girlie issues" and give them a fake girls name and a fake address. its not hard or an experience, its easier then buying a pack of ciggies. seems like your fishing for propz....

as in regards to the non splittable packs, and this is the last thing im gonna post on n+: CODEINE AND IBUPROFEN DONT MIX TOGETHER AS ACTIVE INGREDIENTS. thats why they are seperated by filler in the tablet. talk to your chemist, hell tell ya.
