I think we have only ever made our own bread a few times as baking isn't as forgiving as cooking. I have all the ingredients as make my own pizzas / pasta's etc but only ever used the little instant yeast packets. Not something readily available around here but cumin and basil bread sound a great combination, I love cumin and I think I use it more than any other spice (after chili powder, Cayenne). (Might actually use that in my next pizza base :)).

I'm doing chicken curry with Mung bean Daal later - no doubt a photo will follow :D

Chicken Curry with Mung Bean Daal - Probably tasted better than it looks :D

Cod Goujons with sauteed potatoes with a dash of green pesto in the mix and sweetcorn.
Absolutely yummy! :)

What did you saute the potatoes in ? If you had blended the sweetcorn and pesto reduced it with a veg stock to saute the tatties in then it would have been lovely. I need to practice cooking fish as Im way too comfortable cooking chicken.

Oh feck! I totally missed out on something special there! 8o
They were post-boiled new tatties that I cut up and used butter (and the olive oil from the pesto ofcourse).
I'm definitely going to give that a go sometime - Mix in sweetcorn and peas with either basil, red pepper or sun-dried tomato pesto and there'd be a fucking MDPV-fueled rave in my mouth =D

Cheers for the tip chuck :)~<3

Against my better judgement I should eat something. Someone go make something for me please =D

Actually no eating's cheating :D

Monsternoodle - I do not know what I was talking about last night Don't reduce the pesto as you will lose the flavor due to over cooking :D , the blended sweetcorn / stock would work though and a quick sweetcorn soup. Pesto added nearer the end would keep the basil flavor :D - grated cheese on top and then grilled would be nice also.

^I spotted your other thread today about being pissed off - I thought you had got food poisoning from my recipe :D.

I'm actually going to make that potato dish I was talking about but make it like a gratin - no doubt a photo will show up in due time.

2 jumbo spicy sausages, 4 bbq chicken wings, 2 southern fried chicken wings Tesco Delhi counter earouvh

Prawn cocktail sarnie on Mediterranean bread (ie bread wiv sundried tomatoes, 'erbs 'n' stuff innit, in it). Not had prawn cocktail inna dog's age but was reduced to 80p so treated meself... if several day's old prawns can be considered a treat.

I think I've ate curries for the last three nights in a row. Yeah I can't remember the last time I had Prawn Coctail sandwiches - always make me feel like I'm on a picnic when I have them.

Kenny that chili is looking mighty tasty, haven't had a chili in a while either. I love dishes like that where you can eat it for a few days and it just gets tastier.

Word, it's even better the next day, rolled up the left overs in a tortilla and heated it up on a pan, was excellent.

Yeah cheese on top, grill and sour cream and Guacamole :D.
Your pictures always make me want to cook / eat. I could eat stuff like that all day / every day :D.
