EADD What Are You Munching On v.Shite Pizza

Just had a DrOetkers (sp?) pizza. It was shite

I actually rather like those ones. Nice and crispy and toppings ain't horrid. Not compared to some of the shite I eat anyway 8)

Had one of those mini Chicago Town jobbies for lunch earlier. Not so much greed as need. No space in the freezer and had been defrosted too long to leave any longer. Was the current "limited" edition hotdog one. Not their finest hour :|

Dins consisted of three cheese pasta bake with two extra cheeses. Overcooked the bugger trying to get it all nice and browned and bubbly on top and burnt the bottom and soggified the pasta. Still quite tasty. But broken all the same :(
 
I only know Dr Oetker as purveyors of fine bicarbonate of soda... I suppose that is a baking ingredient so pizza is not too far a stretch. Never seen one though.

I got two slices of Hovis Granary loaf, buttered one of them, put a piece of silverside on it, halved an avocado and positioned the halves on the beef, liberally applied spicy mustard and topped it off with the other slice of bread.

I wasn't hopeful about this combo, aspirational perhaps, but was ready for a joyless sandwich. Au contraire, mes amises, it's a damn fine juxtaposition. %)

Made me fukin laugh though .:D
 
got some mackerel yesterday plus some lambs liver, thinking of grilling the fish and frying the liver with red onions plus some balsamic vinegar and brown sugar.
 
I had a Dr. Oetker mushroom pizza while watching the footie last night, I like those. They are actually the best selling frozen pizzas over here. I rate them better than most other options you find in supermarkets, they use superior flavour enhancers than their competitors.
 
French toast with maple syrup that my girlfriend made after a blue cheese/powerplant wake & bake. =D

All this mackeral talk of late has also whetted my appetite. From what MM has been saying my memory may be playing tricks on me so must resample. Co-Op have just gotten a new range of "fresh" fish products in too. Including a mackeral one that looked rather tasty. Introductory price jobbie too so may well indulge come payday...

Recently muched a bowl of Baxter's lamb & veg soup. Bit bland but not horrible. Only ever seen it once at the shop here so more for novelty value than anything else really.
 
2 fillets to spare, eating saif fish now. grilled for a few minutes with sea salt, black papper and lemon juice. asl having white bread, tomatos, beetroot and branston pickles.
 
i would need more than that:D i remember the good old days catching bags of them then going home to eat them, fantastic past time, fishing, getting stoned then eating your catch:D

lol, I'm the same, back from fishing, about 4 of them filleted and fried straight off.

Afew for lunch, a few for tea, a load for the neighbours, take a few to my mate who has a hot smoker, cure a load of it for "gravadMax"....

I could eat fresh mackerel every day, starting any time in the next week or two %)
 
Mackerel is divine but it needs to be fresh, or cured. I froze some once and it wasn't nice. Not had the pleasure of tinned. Will pop one in my trolly next time shopping.

I'm divided, should it be Eggs Benedict or Eggs Florentine?

Have all ingredients in, so which is it too be..mmm.
 
Yeah frozen mackerel isn't good, might be okay for 7 days or so, but the oil content stops it freezing completely, so it deteriorates a lot quicker than most frozen foods.

Even as bait the difference between using fresh mackerel, and frozen (even if frozen within 12 hours of death) is massive.
