wow, still no word from the OP i see?
Ok guy's I forgot to tell you what happened. But here is what happened:
Sitting in the exam room and the Dr. comes in with a nurse who has a laptop and they both sit down. They sent my urine sample to a lab The Dr. goes on to say "Well we found a few medication in your urine but none of them are the ones we prescribe you" and I am like "well I know I messed up and there was THC in there..." and he says "well you were positive for: Xanax, Oxycodone and Oxymorphone." Now I swear to god that I have never touched oxymorphone (so i have no idea how that could of got in there other then the fact that oxycodone does break down into oxymorphone so maybe thats why it comes up?) Well I am 99% that I didnt have any oxycodone or xanax b4 that piss test either.
Now I did take 1mg of Suboxone like a day b4 I took that piss test, but I heard that BUP wouldn't show up in a drug test and they have to test SPECIFICALLY for it.. But sense my test was sent to a lab and had the GC/MS and all them other advanced tests. So I am wondering if maybe Suboxone shows up as Oxycodone/Oxymorphone for some strange reason? The only thing they have in common tho is that they are both extracted form the Thebaine alkaloid in the poppy pod, so idk??.... But I really dont know how that oxy and xanax got in my system??And I'v read a couple other reports of people testing positive for OXY while on suboxone and swore that he/she hadn't taken any in 6 months when he/she took the test. So I dunno if they were just BSing or what but does anyone know if bupenorphine (subs) come up as oxycodone in drug tests done by labs?!
Anyone know any info about Suboxone and drug testing and it coming up positive for oxycodone? (and xanax?)
oh and btw I got all my scripts and got to give another drug test and passed the standard 5 panel one but now its goin to the lab and I am scared that this suboxone in my system will show up...!! b/c i had taken another 0.5-1mg of Suboxone the day b4 i took the 2nd drug test on april 7th.
thanks...
Well, it sounds like so far things are going well for you. That's awesome. Aren't you glad that you didn't yell at him?It sounds like you have a pretty good doctor there, before you made it seem like he was much more of an asshole.
But, since it sounds like he wasn't taken aback at the admission of weed, and was more concerned with the oxymorphone/oxycodone and xanax, then maybe you can talk to him about it? Say that you would like to use because it helps you control your pain with less pills, but you don't want to jeopardize your relationship with him.
That is a shame. For all you haters on marijuana: It is a miracle drug. At least compared to others. First off, I live in Michigan and a proposal just passed for legalization of medicinal marijuana. So a lot of pain clinics will prescribe some pretty good chronic for patients with severe and chronic pain (hence Chronic=weed). Those patients include BUT are not limited to having: Glaucoma, Cancer, PAIN.
YES, Marijuana is a drug. But it is also a plant, and if you have ever heard, or know of anyone who went through any sort of physical withdrawals that compare to those of opiates, benzos, etc. then it is 99.9% chance its a lie..
Do you ever hear of a pothead beating his wife?
My heart goes out to you JahRed24x. You should not be punished one bit for having marijuana in your system if you are being prescribed opiates and benzos.
