if you have transport, there's a camping ground at lennox head which is about a 15 min drive from byron. but you'll have to be quick as it's very popular.

ballina is about 20/25 mins away and has loads of camp grounds.

brunswick heads is about 10-15

suffolk park joins onto byron and broken head joins onto suffolk.

you should be able to find at one of those places, failing that contact me via PM and i'll rent my parents house out to the highest bidder =D

Yeah I had a look at ebay, and put in a bid. Then checked back 2 hours later and it had gone from $80 to $135 for 1 ticket. And that's for a 10 day auction. so in 10 days, it'll probably be up a lot higher.

My friend bought her camping ticket just after 12 last night (but didn't think to message me and tell me they were on sale :() so maybe she has number 1???

I'm just extra frustrated, cos I went to the site to buy them at 10.17am or so, and there were tickets left, and then I logged on, and they had all been sold in the time it took me to log on :( And then there are people selling 10 on ebay! one of them could've been mine! if only i didn't have work so early this morning! oh well, such is life. park bench for me!

Oh and astrosmurf, I won't have a car, so it unfortunately limits the options, but thanks for the suggestions :)
 
Im there for 2 days... physcially yes... mentally... maybe

I will probably having an easy cool down day off on like the tuesday at the arts factory
 
must buy tickets tonight...

Definately there for two days!!! It's gonna rock. Just hoping that it doesn't rain and turn into splendour in the mud, like in '03.
And I managed to get camping at the arts factory - only $74 for 4 nights. woooo!!!

This is nothing confirmed at the moment!!! BUT...

I may have 1 spare camping ticket. It just depends if a friend wants to go elsewhere, and someone else might not want it.

I will keep you informed...

O yeah, im fuckin heaps excited now... FUCK IM PUMPED...

so yeah... now i think they should just do the last annoucement... its only fair, the festival sold out already, no one else is going to be able to get tickets... so they might aswell...

Along with on-site camping (which sold out in under an hour) both WEEKEND plus individual day tickets for both SATURDAY JULY 23RD and SUNDAY JULY 24TH have been sold in record time!

SPLENDOUR IN THE GRASS has sold out in advance each year since it’s debut in 2001. This is the 3rd year running that SPLENDOUR has sold out prior to the complete line up being announced, reinforcing that SPLENDOUR IN THE GRASS has quickly become the must-do-musical pilgrimage.

i might possibly be coming to this one but i've got to wait for my brother to confirm this for me.

and as yet it's unconfirmed, but often they release a bunch of 'locals only' tickets closer to the date of the show, so if you know anyone who lives locally you might be able to get them to pick tickets up for you. but like i said, this may not be happening this year.
 
Yeah I'll be there.. with a bunch of Melbourne crew.. if any one needs a lift up from Melbourne PM me as I'll know a few car loads heading that way..

yeah i got a few... the very last ones actually.. but then my g/f's bro got 18 spots for the camp site over the road. i think we will all camp over there......
 
:( I can't believe I missed out. I'll probably buy tickets off Ebay but I get so annoyed at these fucking scalpers who obviously never wanted to go if they're putting them on sale the day after they sell out.
