I've done the same thing so many times but not with benzos. It has always been ketamine providing the memory loss. I get overly excited about a night I've been waiting for, then completely over do the ketamine and not remember any of tunes or much of what happened.

The night always ends with me walking about the smoking area trying to buy another gram before I leave.

Good look, eh.

Benzos + booze = blackouts and fuck-ups anyway but those benzo doses are sillyhigh without some serious tolerance taken individually let alone together. Swill it down with a hefty ol' dose of ethanol and you just recreated the textbook case of how to fail at taking drugs ;)

On the recreational vs medicinal use of benzos, I fit both criteria. My benzos are all scripted and have been pretty much constantly for over 15 years now. They (diaz and temaz) are scripted for chronic anxiety, depression and insomnia. I mostly abused them when I was on the gear cos heroin cures all ills it doesn't create so the script was mainly just a nice bonus or a minor lifesaver when scoring scag was an issue.

However, I've definitely learnt from many, many mistakes I've made from heavy benzo abuse in the past and now use them almost exclusively for what they are intended for and certainly don't use them daily cos they become totally ineffective (ab)used that way. I still enjoy the occasional night of booze 'n' bluez messiness but for the most part I'm just very grateful I'm still in the minority who are lucky enough to be scripted stuff that actually works for its intended purpose when so many have no chance.
 
managed to not do ay temaz or diaz for a while, will be getting some for this weekend but recently managed to sleep just taking 2.5mg of olanzapine, doesen't seem to be fiendish at all but really does help when you actually put your head on the pillow
 
Take it steady on the anti-psycho meds, Tek. They have the capacity to seriously fuck you over even worse than benzos do. Fella I knew took a few too many olanzapine once and totally lost it for a few days - described it as "like having my own little Glastonbury in my head". Sadly the mess he left in his wake - and has no memory of causing whatsoever, of course - was less pretty :|
 
Will do, their the ones my housemate is taking but their starting him on 10mg a day which he doesn't need all of, hoping he will only take them for a short while as they have made him quite devoid of energy, must be the long half life, but their keeping him stable and I haven't been doing them every night certainly not going to have a binge on them like I have on other benzos in the past
 
Aye. I've been given chlorpromazine which was so bad it got chucked, despite my love of all things sedative.

They don't call anti-psychotics a 'chemical cosh' for nothing.
 
Got two 2mg pills of diazepam from the doc for a presentation (she doesn't want to give more, she's against benzos). Could somebody confirm this will do nothing? Or maybe otherwise, I hope......
 
If you don't have tolerance it'll work just dandy.

There's probably more diazepam in those than there is in some of the illicit blues out there. I've been taking Chinese 2.5mg generics recently, and they've been great. Too tempting to have sitting around though, by far.

I got a bottle of promazine (old-skool shit) from an ex-friend. I took it every night to get to sleep. It worked like a dream. Then last new year's eve, there was a slight mishap. Needless to say, I very nearly died in hospital that night. Watch the dosage, if you must take such things!
 
Any one else been on Benzo's almost half their Life ? i'm 34 been on em15 years
I wish i had sued the Doctor that originally scripted me , with a good barister i rekon i would have won.
other patients have sucsefully sued their GPs for reckless prescribing of these highly addictive , strong Drugs
 
I've only really bought them illicitly and even then they've tended to become a problem if I have them lying around for long periods of time (or not as the case often is).

They're just too convenient and easy to take. Having a doctor chucking them at me would make it worse I think. Anybody hear of any successes in what Brimz talks about? Not that we should all be suing doctors, but it makes you think.

As a 20 year old i was getting 120mg of diaz a day n 280ml weekly of tamazee linctus on repeat .
If i wanted spome xtra all i had to do ws ask ? N i could get 28 blues just to keep me happy it was Fukin ridicolous practice. This guy still works with addicts8o
iF I WAS OLDER N WISER I'M SURE I WOULD HAVE HAD A very good case.

Fucking hell man, that's a lot. Did you arrive at the doc's with a benzo habit already or was that your script from them? What was it for if it wasn't to support an existing habit, if you don't mind me asking? Seems like a hell of a lot!

It was a script that i had been given by a Psch Doc. B4 But that was only for 28 5mgs a week and 1 20 mg temazee a night. In months it got up to the doses that i have said.
 
Been taking them 2-4 times a week for about 5 or 6 years. No huge problem when they run out, and 20mg is still more than enough to sort any panic out. Same dose I've been on since near the beginning. Tolerance hasn't really moved.
 
Hello peeps, I've just acquired 10 blues, I have dosed twenty mgs and not quite where I want to be, how long will it take to peak? And is it relativley safe to redoes, or is there now point? Thanks in advance
 
And you should be perfectly safe provided you avoid excessive drink and other depressant drugs. Redosing should be okay if you feel the need.
