They still do the job but take forever to dissolve so chewing is the way forward. Just to point out... Am well aware that 10mg of temaz = 10mg of temaz. But it does seem that the variation in fillers/binders makes more of a difference than I would've expected. These "new" NHS ones are just too fuckin' tightly compacted. The old chalky fuckers went down so much easier. And quicker. Blood plasma level shizz? Will leave it to the resident 'spertz of such things to say. But would be my enedjikated guess.
 
Ok, so i have access to Diazepam, but completely fail to see any recreational uses for it tbh, I take around 10mg sometimes to sleep and it works a treat - i know thats a low dose but surely if i take 15mg or 20mg during the day im just gonna fall asleep the same?

Recreational benzo use is not recommended outside of your own home. Trust me. :)

Diazepam is an anxiolytic rather than a hypnotic, so it shouldn't strictly send you to sleep, but it can certainly aid sleep.

Be very wary, however, of black-market diaz. There are lots of fakes around, some of which contain what they're supposed to (albeit often in smaller doses than those stated) but some contain phenazepam, which is more sedating and has led quite a few BLers into trouble.

Personally, I find diazepam works well recreationally with a spliff or two, and (this is not good HR, but hey) possibly a few beers. Just expect to get a bit wobbly with these combos and take it as slowly as you can.
 
Can you smoke valium/diazepam tablets?

got a few pf those small 'MSJ' ones and wanted to put some in a hash joint to bring my down from this rock! Senn coflicting things online such as

If they are benzodiazepines in pill form, they are not prepared for smoking. They are not intended for smoking, and the inert filler and binders are certainly not intended for inhalation.

It is not advisable to administer drugs via a route they were not intended for.

Anyhow, that applies to a pure chemical. Smoking benzo pills will just burn them up and do nothing. Pure chemical would have to be vaporized to the correct temperature. Smoking a pill will do nothing.

My friend wasted a couple xanax back when he was little by crushing them up and putting them in a joint or coating a bud of weed with them. It did nothing but fuck up the taste

i put diazepam in weed spliffs and it well knockes you out. just crush them up and sprinkle it in with the tabaco and weed and u got a killer spliff

Regarding smoking pills, yes it can be done, but the best and most effective would be to extract the active chemical from the pills and purify it so you get rid of all the other crap. SWIM done that couple times. Some benzos are more soluble in water than others, specifally with a little citric acid or so to lower the ph, while others are practically insoluble in water and need other procedures.

In any caes, SWIM been lucky enough to have his hands on bags with 50 grams of pure benzos, such as diazepam, alprazolam and flunitrazepam.

SWIM says the most wonderful smoke he ever had was some hits of pure flunitrazepam - better than anything else, coke, pot, opium, meth, heroin, what you can think of, it was the bomb. Extremely addictive though, and it made SWIM smoke rather much and for most of the day.

Pure diazepam is also rather pleasent to smoke according to SWIM.

alright dammit. grab a spoon crush the fucking pill put it on the spoon add water like you are going to shoot it. but instead cook it it until it is crusted or hard on the spoon then grab a knife and scrape. the put it in a stem. then smoke it. so yes its possible to concentrate and smoke benzos

Following on from this.......

and sorry this has probably been answered millions of times before.... but does switching up benzo's help control tolerance/withdrawal effects? Think I can get Xanax, which I've never tried before, so was thinking of alternating its use with diaz if it does the trick for me.

I'm going to give xanax a try either way, as I'm pretty intrigued to see its effects. Also I'm aware of its shorter half-life so the need to be careful.
 
People usually switch from xanax to diazepam if they're trying to wean themselves off. The reason being diazepam is faaaaaarrrrr longer-acting than xanax.

Danny's right about cross-tolerance too.
 
Okay QUESTION!!!!

If Valium,etc is NOT water souble - ie you cannot snort it right? Then how do we have ampules for IV?

Tony: Coz diaz powder in IV amps iz not dissolved in water...There are plenty other solventz out there....

Is it just me or is the quality of questioning sinking quicksmart :|

GO FOR IT! I tried etizolam for the first time on friday. when it hit me i texted the guy i got it from to get the rest of his stock (he's stopping selling). if you have a regular source you're lucky!
 
agreed. i've done the using benzos daily for a year thing (just following doctors orders...) and its really not great when you have to start caring about and actively participating in life again. in terms of my ability to develop dependencies its prob for the best mine was a one off actually. but assuming jungo is more sensible than me and likes it as much as me, he is a lucky man.
 
I've heard from a drug service in Cardiff that these have been related to 5 deaths in Bridgend originally thought to be heroin overdoses but individuals not brought round by naloxone injections. A service User Group is issuing warnings so be careful apparently a high degree of blackouts and aggressive behaviour seen on these. I recall serbian apaurin diazepam being smaller than UK blues and I think white, not sure - took to many in 2006 ;-)

By 'these' do you mean benzos in general?

Assuming the Bridgend deaths can be attributed to a similar mix to that which killed a few people in Bristol, the overdoses were due to a combination of benzos and barbiturates. Pretty evil, dontcha think?

It'd take a lot of benzos alone to finish somebody off. Still, best to be safe and all.

Oh, and welcome to the benzo thread. Which is somewhere I should probably be staying away from for now. :)
 
Trying to wean myself off benzos atm, been plenty around for too long and my tolerance is through the roof, high doses daily for too long. Not the first time i've made this mistake either! :/

Trying to cold turkey for the last few days after a week of day off day on (except for after stims), so very little sleep & sleep paralysis, keeping the anxiety under control, but finding it impossible to sleep at the minute. & after a night of 4-fa and md yesterday 5mg etiz and 50mg diaz only gave me 2 hours restless sleep, used to get such a refreshing full sleep from benzos, especially when im physically and mentally exhausted :(

Still, back to cold turkey now. Be careful if there are benzos around, its piss easy to end up eating them like smarties, they make life too easy!
 
I've got some 'diazepam' which I think could be something else. They're pale blue, lighter than most, unmarked but scored. When crunched they don't really taste that strong. I'm quite familiar with the slightly sweetish with bitter undertones diazepam taste from the usual blues and they have a bit of that but it's not as pronounced as legit blues, eg HKs.

They definitely have a sedative effect but don't seem as anxiolytic as branded diaz, if anything they surprise me by mucking up my coordination but still leaving me mentally a bit uncomfortable when true diaz is a magic bullet for anxiety for me. They also seem to have more of a hangover the day after- the morning after taking two I couldn't really focus my eyes properly and I felt way dopier than I would have normally- very removed from where I was and what I was doing, almost like all stimuli were coming from a long way away.

Could this all be in the mind or could they be something else like phenaz? I've never knowingly taken phenaz so wouldn't recognise it if that's what I've got here.
 
Dunno, pale blue with a score on the back fit the description of daz brand diazepam, generics from pakistan, which i though were pretty good quality generics and definitely felt like diazepam. I dont taste pills though (made that mistake with zopiclone and xanax before and its put me off for life) so cant compare in that respect.

Doubt they were phenaz, when i overdid it on phenaz i was slurring my words for a good 2-3 days afterwards
