If anything the police won't have the time to bust any pot smokers this weekend. Unless you are exciting a riot they'll probably leave you be. The dogs are there to gnaw on hippy bones not sniff out drugs

It just won't work, it took me around two hours to text, and ask a friend if I could drop by once on psilosibin.

Plenty of bush where I'm from, perfect set and setting.

Certainly wouldent want to see a PC version gif (well that's what it would look like on my phone) of you whilst tripping, could send me anywhere ;) .

Holidays?
Festivals?
Doofs?
Going to see any bands?

Me, I'm playing some shows on the east coast then going camping in the south west with my family.
I'm not fond of the Christmas season, but this year is shaping up to be better than most.

Anyone got any plans worth boasting about?
 
^Enjoy your camping trip.

I used to love camping but haven't since I was a little tacker.

Work, unfortunately for me throughout the silly season, I get the public holidays off, but it still sucks enjoying and evening or two with mates, then having to work for a couple days.

Not to sure. Will definately be going to Rainbow Serpent.

Most of my friends will be overseas so that is going to suck a bit.

Probably just get fucked up on the weekend work finishes (buy a bit of shard and get messy).

Other than that I am in a grey area of not knowing if I will be continuing to work full time next year or will going back to uni. Still waiting for post grad offers to be made and the course I want to get into is super competitive. That is putting a halt on my plans for holidays as I don't know if I can afford to blow some cash or hoard it.

Are you coming down to Melbourne over christmas?
 
i'm playing my first 2 live electronic sets ever in about 20 days, and i am shitting myself, i'm not really ready for it at all. then i'm just going to just chill the fuck out until uni starts again
 
^ cool! Nothing like an approaching gig to help motivate you into getting a good set together (for me anyway....even if that means improvising on the night heh).
What sort of set-up have you got?

i haven't had a job for like 8 months which is why i don't really have any gear, besides plugins on my laptop (using ableton) :< . but i will prbly be borrowing an apc40 (or something similar) from a friend and use a mic with some effect pedals to do vocals. wouldn't mind using a synth as well, might be too much work b4 the gig though.
 
We all gotta start somewhere - i think it is good to keep it as simple as possible, at least until you find your feet.

Good luck man, I hope it goes well. Personally I don't think any drug kick comes close to the feeling of playing live music. Addictive as fuck, too - in a good way.
 
its a process where i just build upon things that that make me feel that feeling, try to make the music that i hear in my head sometimes

it would be really great for it to keep happening, i think maybe i am usually so depressed bcus i have no direction in my life, but having things to look forward to that motivate me to achieve my goals and a way to express my music could create some positive change i reckon

i agree with the guy who said he need shroooms to regain mental clarity. This past 2 years I have consumed none and nothing i would class close to MDMA which both things bring my mind back into focus.. ummm I see things as the are not what iv created in my head about alot of stuff.. after shrooms more so it feels my mind is a new im back to who i am, its just the past 2 years been in a sh it relationship and are scared to trip balls cause I think i will see all these buried and hidden feelings that i had for her come out in my trip as they normally do...

iv been playing around mixing my own beats for almost 10years would be good to listen to your music and maybe you could give me your opinion of my oldest classic mix.. i love it :) i play to my friends they just smile you gotta know what technologoy i was using back then and the art of mixing sounds into each other to appreciate it...

lately im always finding empty baggies o0n the ground.. no luck yet to finding any rocks in any
